I just received my new Clarks' Sunbeat in blue. I'm very pleased; the "platform" seems a trifle long, but the fit feels right. I've been wearing them for several hours and I think the comfort is better than a Birkie as well as being more flattering. I may try another color!

Comfortable But -
The beauty of this sandal is that the three buckles on each sandal can be adjusted to suit your foot. The well cushioned sole is excellent for people like me who walk often on hard city streets. The design provides good arch support for a sandal. My one discomfort came from the fact that staples under two of the buckles felt sharp and cut into my foot. I had to put a piece of tape over the staples to cover their sharp edge. Otherwise I find these sandals extremely comfortable.

Comfortable, but straps should be longer for best look -
I had the Sunbeat sandal in beige leather (no longer available) and absolutely loved it. It lasted for years but the soles finally wore out. I replaced them with the same size in Mushroom Nubuck. The straps barely fit over my toes on the new sandals and I don't have particularly fat feet. I measured the straps on the old and new sandals and the new sandal straps are almost 1/2" shorter. They still are very comfortable, but look a bit odd with the toe and middle straps at the last hole, the strap just barely inside the buckle. I also miss the lighter color of the beige (with beige sole), as it was just a bit more "dressy" and I could wear them with everything and walk forever when I was traveling.

Nice Sandal -
These sandals are good for a short walk but nothing i would spend my "day at the fair" in. They are great for wide feet and look great. The option to be able to adjust them with the 3 buckles is great for the high arch along with a wide foot.

I really like the fit of this shoe, there was no break-in period needed. It is meant to be a casual shoe, but because of my need for a wide width comfortable shoe, I do wear it to work with slacks. It is a little casual, but as I said, it is supposed to be.
I am very pleased with the comfort and quality of the Sunbeat.

Very comfortable sandals -
I purchased these sandals for my 88 year old mother who has large bunions on both feet. It has been difficult to find her a pair that fit as well as are comfortable with good arch support. We also needed the larger width for her bunions.
She really liked these sandals and they are very comfortable. She wears them everywhere, especially with the very hot weather now during the summer when her feet have a tendency to swell.
We highly recommend them for comfort and they look good too.

Good all-around sandal -
They fit my hard-to-fit feet fine with adjustment of the straps. I was afraid the leather would be stiff, but they were very comfortable the first time out! They aren't very stylish, but a good basic sandle.

Unwearable -
I replaced a defective shoe with the same size but the new shoe is too small and tight. I need the next size but since I am not eligible for a Zappos return I will have to bring it back to a store for replacement.

I have been wearing Clarks Sunbeat sandals for years. When my most recent purchase arrived, I was very surprised to find they didn't fit as well as the previous 10 or so pairs had. I compared them to my last pair and found that the new ones were at least 1/2" longer than the old ones, though they were marked the same size. The straps were shorter as well, making them seem narrower. It would be preferable to me to pay more and receive the shoes I expected instead of a poorly fitting substitution. I will no longer be buying Clarks.

Forever lasting shoes -
I have worn this same shoe in a different color for the past 11 years (summer months only). They are still in great shape except for the strap tips curling some. So, if you are tired of replacing your summer shoes every season, know that these will last until you tire of them (which will probably be never because of the comfort & adjustability). My only complaint is that the heel strap is somewhat loose. It is not so with my older pair.

So Comfortable!
For over six years this style has been my "go-to" sandal for comfort and durability, and I have bought several pairs. I wore my Sunbeats all day every day during a five day walking tour (as many as eight miles per day) of London, England, and had no problems. My feet are difficult to fit--medium width across the toes, very narrow heel, and one foot slightly longer than the other. The three straps allow me to adjust for a perfect fit, and the cushioned footbed keeps my bony feet from bruising. (Clarks used to make the same style sandal with padding under the straps, and I liked those even better.) Zappos service was superb, as usual. This time I wanted to order two pairs of Sunbeats in different colors. Mushroom was out of stock in my size. So Zappos sent the black and notified me promptly when mushroom became available. In both instances my sandals arrived the next day at no extra charge.

Clarks Sunbeat Sandal -
This sandal is the most comfortable and attractive sandal that I have ever had. I started with the tan sandal and wore them for at least 4 summers. I now have a new pair of tan and the white pair.

They're the best -
I was having pain in my feet and was concerned about walking distances abroad. I purchased these sandals to wear in Europe as recommended by a friend. They were everything she said adjustable, supportive and very comfortable from the first time I wore them even while walking on uneven pavements and cobblestone roads. My feet never felt tired even after a very long day. I wear them every day and highly recommend them.

I am very pleased with these sandals. I tried other Clark sandals but the Sunbeat worked the best. I have difficulty walking in traditional sandals because my right heel falls off the shoe. All three straps are adjustable. The fit was good and felt true to size. I was concerned because my feet sometimes swell in the hot weather. I just re-adjust the straps if that happens. I do a lot of walking and find the sandals very comfortable. I also love that they are blue! I like the Sunbeats so much that I bought another pair in another color at a discount outlet in Maine.

Very good shoe. I am pregnant, and I needed a comfortable show that can be worn with skirts. First time I did not need to wear the shoes in; they were comfortable from the beginning.

I bought a pair of these last summer and loved them, but within a month, one of the buckles broke. I should have contacted Zappos because they probably would have replaced them. I hope it doesn't happen with these, I love the style and the comfort is good for me because I have bad feet!

Happy shoes! My poor feet leave a lot to be desired. They are old and worn out and show their age but Clarks shoes seem to give them that little bit of spark, and they are very, very comfortable.

Downgraded - This is my third pair. The quality of the leather is not as good and the fit has changed so that it's a smaller footbed. This time, the sandals required a break in period whereas before I could put them on right away and walk.

Excellent fit and look.
I have feet that are very hard to fit with shoes. Clarks Springer is the one sandal that I can wear. My feet are wide and the buckles work perfect in adjusting the shoe to my feet. I have been wearing them for over 10 years and am afraid to buy any other brand. They are cushioned just right. My arch, particularly right foot, does not feel as if it is going to drop. Thank you.

Great sandal - I love these sandals. The first day I wore them, they were a little stiff, but after that became nice and soft. I have worn them all day without any problems. I only wish they had a little bit more arch support. I will definitely buy these shoes again.
