No Break-In Needed -
I bought the boot for a trip to Illinois where I'd be walking a lot in temps below 30. I was able to walk for hours with no break-in time and the boot kept my feet warm, although I needed a boot sock rather than just tights. Overall they did exactly what I hoped for when I bought them--comfortable and warm in a basic looking boot.

Love these boots!
I have chubby little legs and I had no problem with the fit of these boots. Found out I was heading for the Rockies on Thurday morning and had these boots before I left on Friday. I put them on and wore them all weekend and my feet were so happy! They are extremely comfortable and gave me room for heavier socks. I would recommend them to anyone with a wide width foot!

Comfortable, but not very warm -
I do like these shoes, but they are not all that warm. They are very roomy, so wool socks will probably do the trick. I can wear them most of the day very comfortably.

Warm, comfy, but not as attractive as I would have expected. The velcro close is convenient but it makes the side look goofy--would've liked a zipper better. Sent them back.

Good looking boot. Fairly comfortable. Not as much arch support as I'd hoped. Easy on and off with velcro side pull tabs.

Looks a bit like a gym shoe -
Not a super stylish shoe, but the nice thing about looking a bit like a gym shoe is that it feels like one, too! Extremely comfortable. Very cushy. The wide width is actually wide, which is hard to find. Unfortunately the sizing is way off. I am an 8.5 W, and I'm sliding all over the place in this boot. Sadly, Zappos is out of the 8W, so I will try a 7.5W. I suspect that will be too small and that these run only a half size too large in the wide width. Maybe they'll be back in stock next winter.

Great Boots -
I ordered these boots one afternoon hoping that I would get them in a couple of days. Lo and behold the next day I had them! They fit good and I love them! I wanted a low heel because I walk to the PO for my work and the sidewalks can be icy. These are easy to take on and off and are so comfortable, I forget I Have them on.

Not for slushy snow or ice -
I wore these boots for the first time today after a snow fall. When I stepped out into the slush it was like I was on a pair of ice skates. The soles have absolutely no traction. I was slipping and sliding while my friend, in a pair of regular street shoes, stepped carefully and had no problem.

A fantastic boot; I put on the boot and wore it all day; extremely comfortable with no break-in period. I have a wide foot and the wide fit perfect. I wanted to also order this boot in black but it isn't available.

The most comfortable boot!
I just love this boot! From the first moment I put it on, it was truly comfortable. It did not need any time to break-in either. I wore it one week straight while I was on vacation, and never had one problem--didn't slip, rub, or leave my foot red. It's definitely more of a "winter" boot, with the soft fur lining, but I think I will probably continue to wear it all year with pants/jeans on the weekends. It's not a dressy boot by any means, but a great one to wear while running errands, walking around on vacation, or during cold weather. I did order it 1/2 size larger, which I have been doing lately with athletic shoes and boots, and I might recommend this to anyone who has a wide foot or likes to feel a little more room in the shoe, verses too snug of a fit.

Very comfortable, nice looking, repeal water - this as I found most Easy Spirit wides - runs wide. I am a wide but can often wear regulars - if you can't this is a good boot for you.
This boot feels like a full size larger - perfect for thick winter socks to then still have wiggle room - if you want to wear them with thin socks order down or enjoy a lot of roominess

Winter boots -
I bought the tan-colored boot. The insole was too soft. I wear orthotics and it seems that a less-cushy insole works best to prevent discomfort. So I switched the insole from another pair of Easy Spirit shoes that I have been wearing. It helps. Also, the boot seems a bit larger that the other shoes by Easy Spirit in that size. Maybe that is to allow for heavy socks. The strap fastener is somewhat of a nuisance when I am putting the boots on because it naturally wants to be closed. It just might take some getting used to. The service from Zappos is (as usual) excellent.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: I am pretty much stuck on Easy Spirit, mostly clog style and I haven't had boots that I have liked in years.

Outstanding Boot -
Highly recommend this boot. The boot fits true to size. I put on this boot for the first time and wore it all day--extremely comfortable and no breaking-in required. I have wide/thick ankles and the velcro closer met my needs. I am going to order a second pair of these boots because they fit so well, are stylish and the comfort level is outstanding.

Best looking warm boots ever -
I need a winter boot that doesn't look like you'd wear it to hike to Alaska in, but still gets me through the deep snow we get here. So far, this pair is great-big enough to wear thick socks in, has a good grip surface, and not ugly! Perfect!
