I bought this shoe looking for something I could wear to work. I'm an engineer so dress-casual is my standard attire, but I also wanted something I could wear out with jeans and a nice shirt. These shoes fit the bill for me. The gel soles are very nice, but a bit soft for me personally due to high foot arches. Leather is soft and scuffs easily, but overall a good looking, comfortable shoe for many occasions.

OK for biz casual, without being dorky -
I got these for my husband's birthday, in response to his request for a shoe he could wear to the office with business casual attire or jeans that he wouldn't feel silly wearing out to a pub. He absolutely loves them, and he says they feel somewhat like a wrestling shoe, but with more support. He especially loves the gel insole, as he walks to work and has a tendency to pronate.
