The shoes are really beautiful, but I cannot get them on in an easy fashion. The strap is really hard to get my foot into, and I have very narrow feet. The strap does not unbutton or snap. It is a little tight.

Stunning!
I bought these in the moon metallic color and they are absolutely gorgeous. There is so much padding for the toes & ball of foot these are incredibly comfortable even after wearing them for hours.
The high quality leather is very soft and will form to the shape of your foot. Once again, Zappos has terrific service and a great price.

Gorgeous Shoes!
I bought these shoes in the moon leather. They are beautiful! I received compliments on them while standing all day. They are a higher heel, so they did force me to take a seat on occasion. However, they were so comfortable that by the time I came home from the party I was at, I left them on to walk my dog!

Unfortunately not enough arch support -
I ordered this shoe in the ocra color because it looked like a great neutral. Unfortunately the shoe didn't work at all - I have a high arch and there is none-to-little arch support, so all the pressure was on the ball of my foot. The fact that the strap is permanent (it can't be undone at either side) meant it wasn't possible to insert arch support and still wiggle my foot into the shoe. Also, I could barely see my toes in the peep-toe area, which just looked weird. On the whole, very disappointing, because I usually really like Born shoes. This one, though, I had to send back.

Darling Shoe, Comfortable - Order Half Size Larger -
I bounce between a 7 and a 7.5, I have found that in Born sandals I wear a 7 but in their dress shoes and boots, a 7.5 is more comfortable. This shoe fit perfect as a 7.5 and is truly darling in ocre, it is a camel color and goes with anything camel, red or light tan. Also looks great with soft yellows. The pump is comfortable but not as padded as other Born shoes, so that is a little sad but given the style I am not sure the extra padding can be accommodated based on the cut.

Cute and comfortable!!!
I have been desperately hunting for truly comfortable heels that I could walk in all day. I am a Designer who meets with clients, has to walk around the city and showrooms and find most comfortable shoes to be really "frumpy". These are not! I got the light tan color because I think any shoe that's close to your skin tone does wonders for lengthening your leg, and I got the silvery color because I thought they were fun with jeans or simple black clothing. I have Bunions, ugh! (Thanks, Mom!), and narrow heels so I am a hard fit. I find Born shoes the absolute best in pillow-y comfort. I also own the Born "Welly" which is a great sexy sandal. Hoping in the Fall Born makes cute flat, high boots (to tuck jeans into) and also sexy boots w/ pointier toes and a small thinner heel cause I'd be the first on line for those!!! AND as usual, ZAPPOS has amazing service!

I have a high arch; unfortunately my weight is thrown onto the ball of my foot... Have the same problem with other Born pumps. Peep toe styling is not cut at the optimal angle. Sizing is off. I always wear a 39/8 1/2. Born states that their size 8.5 is a Euro 40. No, not quite. Thus, the 8 is too small and the 8 1/2 is too big.

Very Cute, Tight Strap Across the Top -
I am keeping these shoes for a wedding I am a bridesmaid in. They are pretty comfortable (I usually can't wear heels)
I am a vintage snob so there are some design things that were less than perfect for me. The peep-toe and slight platform of the shoe are 40's looking, but the strap across the top of the foot is placed in a position that is more 30's (I wish it were an ankle strap OR that these were not peep-toe, it would look better with a closed toe.)
Also the way the front is cut, could be a tad sexier. I don't know how, maybe by giving more of an arc towards the toe instead of being straight across the toe box.
I have feet that are 7.5/8, but that are very wide in the front, narrow in the back. I ordered in 7.5, 8 and 8.5 so I could see what was best. I have questions about how much toe peep toes should shoe. The 7.5 looked good but basically was a look at my big-toe nail thing. I went with the 8 so that less toe was exposed. They are lined with matching leather in the front so you can do this.
I got the chantilly color, the main color is a warm, vintage looking silver, the heel is gold croc.
These are a good mix of comfort and style.

True love!
These are the most comfortable, glamorous, dress-up/dress-down heels I've ever worn. I adore them and wish I could come with an excuse to buy every color. I am on my feet most of the day and I felt like dancing at work. Born has done it again.

Agreed -- the most comfortable, quiet heeled shoe around -
Just picked these up in the brownish color, which is rare for me because I normally HATE brown shoes and think they look matronly. These are SO NICE. I don't normally wear heels, to explain my 4-star comfort rating as opposed to 5 stars, and I did wear them for an entire day but the balls of my feet felt pretty pained by the very end. The padded footbed is great, though, and the open toe is so cute! They were easy to get on but I have narrow feet and ankles. Finally, I normally take an 8.5 in Born flats but took an 8 in this, probably because it's a heel.

That’s because of the padded foot bed, the softness of the leather and the construction. These shoes are very comfortable and QUIET. By quiet, I mean there isn't any sound one usually makes when walking in heels. Love these shoes. I wish they came in red! I got the gold/silver like color.

Great dress shoe -
This shoe looks great (and I had no difficulty getting it on & off). It's better for sitting down kinds of things, simply because it's a heel. If you're comfortable wearing heels all day long, then the shoe would be great for you because the footbed is padded. I won't be walking any long distances in it, because I usually don't wear heels. But I love the Chantilly when I do need a heel.

Great design but didn't work out size-wise. I normally have to size down when I wear Born’s but not with this shoe. I'll be returning them for another pair of Born’s, though!

These are beautiful shoes. They are very comfortable - a lot of padding. Unfortunately, the strap stood up about an inch off of my foot, which is very thin. It looks like something I could have fixed by a cobbler, but for shoes at this price, I just couldn't see spending more… so I'm returning them.

Sometimes I just need a high-heeled shoe. These are about the only pair I'll wear. They have enough style for party clothes and, while heels are never easy, provide much better stability and cushioning.

I meant to buy a different pair of Borns the day I bought these. I am absolutely glad I did. They showed up the very next day and were gorgeous. Best of all the 3 1/2 heel was amazingly comfortable. I can wear these for 8 hours a day with no problems. I highly recommend this shoe. I went to a holiday event last weekend and they were the hit of the party!

I just received my Chantilly shoes in the Moon Metallic color...they are fantastic! The metallic leather really makes these shoes. They feel true to size, have great support and are very comfortable considering the heel. Another great BORN shoe!

How do you get these on?
I think these would be comfortable if I could get them on! Seriously, I did manage to wedge them on and they seemed comfortable, but the strap does not stretch enough to get on easily. Once on, they're difficult to get off. Not for airport travel or anywhere that you want to remove your shoes without a sweat! Terrible.

Your company has all kinds of shoes in her size and style. You make shopping fun and easy for moms, especially with hard to please teens. Then I got my order so fast. I have been telling the other army wives about this site. We have so much on our minds the last thing we need is to worry about shopping for the kids! I thank you and it could not go without saying. For so often, customers complain but we must also say thanks when service is great! Before I found your site I had already ordered my daughter a pair of Softwalks from another company and they have given me the run around and the wrong size after I called them six times about the issue. She still does not have her shoes and I ordered them before I got the ones from your company. I should have looked at your site, you even have them cheaper. Now I don't know if she will have her shoes for chapel when school starts. She will have to wear the ones I got from your company, which are not chapel shoes. She goes to a private Christian school and they are strict about the rules. I can't afford to buy another pair, for the company has already charged my credit card. If the shoes do not get here soon, I will return them and be out of more money and get a pair from your company just because you have better service.
