Glad to see these stylish comfort shoes are back. They fit my WW wide foot perfectly, the leather is soft with no break in time, also the length is very true to size. Just the right amount of heel to make them cute without tiring out my arch. Great with pants or a skirt, but don't wear them in the rain or your feet will get soaked!

What a disappointment! I've tried and tried to wear these shoes, but after ten months, I must give up! They are so uncomfortable in the toe box and where the strap rests (and they are the size of all my other shoes) that I am always sorry I've put them on. I thought Clarks would be a treat worth the extra expense, but that is not the case. Sigh.

Comfy Teacher Shoes -
I finally treated myself to a good pair of shoes. Their appearance is nothing to get excited about - they are just a basic black pair of shoes - but the comfort is worth it. If you're looking for a comfortable, basic shoe, I really recommend this one.

I have a VERY narrow foot; AAA usually fits perfectly. These in a AA squeezed my foot. No padding; not a comfortable shoe. Cute styling; would have kept if they fit properly.

Casual pretty Mary Jane -
These shoes are nicer than the photo. The leather is medium gloss and kind of pebbly. I bought the 9.5 narrow. My foot is a narrow shallow 9A or 9.5AA so was pretty happy to see these shoes came in a narrow. However, they turned out to be narrow in the front but not narrow in the heel. This is OK because the strap keeps them in place. All in all they are a rare find, an attractive Mary Jane which can accommodate an orthotic and is not as wide as a boat. I am pretty happy with them.

This shoe is for the narrow and shallow foot!
I work as a PA student on my feet twelve + hours a day and I couldn't find a shoe that was comfortable enough until the Clarks Twinkle. I also have a very long, narrow and shallow foot and everything is usually too wide. This shoe fit me in the medium width and has made standing on my feet so much better! A must have in both colors!

I like the look of this shoe but unfortunately it doesn't fit my foot well. I have a hard foot to fit and many times have to seek out men's shoes because of that. I got the shoe in a long length so that it might fit me in the width. I got the widest width (XW). With both of those elements--the longer length and the widest width--it ended up being not wide enough in the toe and gapping on the side. So, I'm returning it and the search for a good fit continues! One comment about the back of the shoe: it did go up too high and cut into my ankle in an uncomfortable manner. I do like the heel--very comfortable in that regard.

A hip Mary Jane shoe -
Thanks to the other reviewers who mentioned these shoes ran narrow. Based on that information I ordered an 11ww, instead of an 11w, and I am very pleased; these fit like an expensive pair of leather gloves.

These shoes are very cute. The dark brown color is very dark...nice. They're comfortable except that they somewhat irritate my bunion in a way that another pair of Clarks Mary Janes, Mellie, do not.

I was looking for a dark brown Mary Jane shoe, and these fit the bill, although I would have liked a little higher heel. Also, Clark's are usually really comfortable, so I thought these would be good. I wore them to work, and for the first couple of hours they were fine, but as the day wore on I developed blisters on my little toe and heel. I ordered the narrow, which I need and the heel fit well, but the back of the shoe comes a little high. I'll keep them because I wore them, and hopefully the stiff leather will soften, but I'll only wear them for short periods.

Clark's Twinkle is stylish and pretty supportive. Not much arch support, but does accommodate my orthotics. Rubs a little on one heel, but I think this will soften up. Overall, a cute and comfy shoe.

Good dress shoe for people on feet all day!
Good shoe overall-- rubbed a little on my heel and my big toe, but after wearing for a week they are mostly broken in.

At last-a good looking comfort shoe.
I needed a comfortable shoe because of Achilles tendon surgery. This shoe fills the bill. It's great looking, very comfortable, and can be either dressy or everyday. Everyone comments on how cute it is!

Great fit. I am on my feet when I work and this shoe is so comfortable that I don't have to change shoes through out the day. I ordered a wide which is perfect for me as Clarks tend to run small/narrow.

Narrow in the toe -
Like the previous reviewer, I found these shoes to be too narrow in the toe, and I ordered a wide in my regular size. I'm debating whether or not to re-order a XW or one size up. I think the shape of the toe makes them seem narrower, as it tapers in from the ball of the foot. They are cute without socks, but a little dowdy with socks. The seem really comfortable, except where they were just a bit too narrow in the toes for me.

I wanted these shoes so badly. I'm desperate for a cute Mary Jane shoe that fits my 10.5 N foot. I tried these with no luck. I got the 11 N because I thought that the 10 would be too short, but I had a full thumb's-width of space at the toe. The width was good. There's no arch support, and the way the shoe is made it almost feels like there's something under your foot on the opposite side of your arch -- I actually looked to see if the arch was put on the wrong side because it felt so odd.

Cute and tough -
Good foot bed padding. The leather is quite soft. I liked these shoes a lot except for one thing: The back comes up a bit high and I was worried it would chafe over time.

Cute shoe, too narrow!
I've purchased two pairs of sandals from the Clarks Artisan collection, both in a 7 XW, and they fit fine. I ordered this shoe in the same size, only to find that it was MUCH too narrow--uncomfortably so. I have bunions and arthritis in my (wide!) feet, so I have a lot of difficulty finding comfortable, well-fitting shoes. These are really nice-looking, but I'm sending them back. Thank heaven for Zappos' return process--it's so easy!

 |  | Zappos rocks, you so made my nine year old son’s day. We went looking for new DC shoes last Sunday and spent 3 hours only to find out that his shoe size was 6.5 right between boy’s and men's. The stores had no selection in either. We were told by one salesperson that most boys skip that size so they don't carry many. He was very disappointed, I suggested ordering from you guys that night and he didn't want to wait for shipping. I told him Zappos was quick, but he wanted to try stores again, so we did on Tuesday evening and came home empty handed again. We got online, ordered a pair he liked (there were so many to chose from in the size we needed) at 9:30 that night. Of course he was all about when would they be here, again I told him how quick you are at shipping and that probably Thursday at the latest Friday. He came home from school on Wednesday and they were on the front porch. He was so happy!!! Loved the shoes and can't wait to order another pair. I have told other people how fast they got here and no one believes that is even possible. I don't know how you do it, but thanks so much. You're the best.
