Gorgeous! There was a 3 week breaking in period for the toe box, and now they're the most comfortable heels I own! This from a former ballet flats-only gal! Not made for long distance walks of course, but perfectly fine for a 14-hour day of office work, picking up the kids at school, and maybe a quick errand on the way home. Other shoes will have you in pain by lunchtime, and make you regret stopping at the grocery store on the way home. True to size, love the soft leather, love the button detail, and I always get compliments when I wear them. I only wish they came in dark red!

Super cute and comfortable, the heel is a little shorter than I usually go for, but they are perfect for work. They are the most comfortable heels I have ever worn. I usually wear a 7 1/2 - 8, and the 7 1/2's were way too small and the 8's were perfect. I absolutely love them; they are definitely worth the money.

First I have to say that I was skeptical about buying shoes over the internet...my friend recommended that I at least give it a shot because I had been to all the Kenneth Cole stores in NYC looking for this shoe. I was surprised to find the shoe on the web site, in stock and on sale. The Gentle Souls shoes are rarely on sale at the stores from what I had been told by the salespeople. I ordered a size 7.5 which was surprisingly too small and had tried various other styles that were also too big in an 8. Goes to prove that the best way to find what fits is to try the shoe on. Zappos sent me a size 8 pretty much immediately and I am more than pleased with my shopping experience and shoes. Also note that these shoes do stretch so a snug fit is probably best, they are really soft and keep feeling that way throughout their life unlike other shoes where the cushion wears out rapidly.

Very comfortable. 10+ h, feet don't hurt. High quality soft leather. TMoro is true size; Black is 1/2 size bigger.

Definitely worth it!
These shoes look better in person than on the website. The leather is butter-soft, the footbed actually has *padding*--not the "lightly padded" beds that feel like no padding at all! I don't typically wear heels because they usually cramp the balls of my feet and push all my weight into my toes. Not with these shoes! I slipped my feet into these and they immediately felt very comfortable. My feet don't slide to the front and my toes aren't pinched. I was able to wear these all day at work, and I'm definitely glad I spent the extra money to find heels that aren't painful. Now I wish this brand came in a wider variety of styles and colors! Let's have more "cute" shoes that wear this well!

So-so -
I needed comfy work shoes. This is the best I could find. They are good, but stretched out quickly and seem to squish my toes a little. I can wear them all day though and they look good with pretty much everything, but the button thing is shiny, it would be nicer if it was matte.

These got REALLY uncomfortable...
When I first got these shoes six months ago, I thought they were unbelievably soft and comfortable when I slipped them on. But now I really dislike them. When I wear them to walk for medium to long distances, I have sharp arch pain the night after, so I don't let myself wear them more than once a week. Also, if I don't wear them with stockings, I get blisters--even now, months after I bought them. I'm sure I walk quite a bit farther than the average American in a given day, but I'm really disappointed with these and wouldn't buy this brand again.

The perfect shoe?
Wow! This shoe actually has enough arch support - which I never, never find in a heel. It is well made and stylish and so comfortable. I ordered a 7 and it was too big, so I got the 6.5 which is a little sung, but I suspect they will stretch out a bit as the leather is quite solid.

Almost perfect -
I love the way this shoe looks. The leather is super soft, the button is shiny and cute, and the back of the heel even has a guard on the bottom to prevent damage. But when I put them through my wear them to work all day test-they did not hold up as well. My toes rubbed against the top of the shoe, but if I wear them without nylons I think they'd be perfect. Unfortunately I have to wear nylons at work, but I'll happily keep these for a dressier pair because they are too cute to not keep. The Just Jan by Gentle Souls is more comfortable for an every day wear to work shoe. I usually wear a size 10, but sent them back for a 9.5 which fit perfectly.

Comfy and sexy!
These are great - flexible sole, cushy insole, comfortably high heel. They look expensive - good leather and the big shiny button makes them sophisticated. Good with skirts, jeans, and work pants. They are very comfy to walk around in all day - even with bare feet. I wear a 7 1/2 and these were true to size. Worth every penny.

BOUGHT SHOE FOR COMFORT FIRST, LOOKS SECOND -
I want a good looking shoe for dress, recently had 2 knees replaced. I find these shoes comfortable to walk in and find the look very appealing. I still consider appearance important at age 72.

I LOVE this shoe!
This is the MOST comfortable pump I've ever owned. Also, well made and very stylish. Can't wait for more from this designer. My only comment is I wear a 7 1/2 but a 7 fit me perfectly. Something to consider when ordering this shoe.

GREAT shoe!
I have nothing but great things to say about this shoe. I have been looking for AGES for a shoe that is both cute and comfy. Since buying these, I have had so many compliments and can be on my feet for 10 hours with no pain. The inside leather is so soft that even without nylons I don't get any blisters. I will definitely be buying more of this brand.

Taryn by Taryn Rose...move over...Gentle Souls are so much better! The toe box is perfect and wide. The deer skin padding is like nothing out there and the comfort level is out of this world. I don't really notice the flax seeds though... If you do not want to spend the $ for Taryn Rose and you are thinking about getting the lower end Taryn by Taryn Rose, try this first. Shoe runs exactly like Kenneth Cole Reaction or Kenneth Cole NY sizes.

I also wanted to send a much belated thank you for a service you did for me about a year ago.
