I was very happy with my recent purchase of New Balance shoes from Zappos.com. Not only did the new shoes arrive much earlier than expected, but they fit perfectly! I work in a hospital and I am on my feet all day long every day. I bought these shoes in a wide size to accommodate the fact that I have a corn and will be getting orthotics, and they really do have a good size toe box. They are very comfortable and need little wear-in time. They seem to be true to size also. I got them super-fast, ordered at 10 pm and got them by 5 pm the next day. Look good, feel good, good price.

These shoes are very comfortable & could put them on and wear them all day. I usually buy an 8 1/2 & had to return them for a 9. Width runs true to size.

Great shoes; light, comfortable with good support. I ordered the wide width and my regular size and they are a little big. I should have dropped a half size with the wide width.

I wore this shoe only all summer as a host in a state park with Superfeet insert to help my low arch. It was very comfortable, held up very well and my plantar fasciitis didn't bother me. I am replacing it now because my toes are beginning to hit the front and I suspect they have loosened up some, but in general I have been very pleased with them. The 10 1/2 were too large so I hope the new ones will feel as good as they did at the beginning of the summer.

I bought these shoes for my teenage daughter to wear to school. She wears them all day long and tells me that they are very comfortable. She also let me know that they were a comfortable fit from the first day she wore them. I think that it\'s because they are a wide width, and she didn\'t have to break them in. She has been wearing them everyday for a month now and they have held up very nicely. I would definitely buy them again.

This was the first time I had used Zappos. I had purchased this exact tennis shoe previously in a retail store and liked it very much; they were beginning to wear out so I decided to give Zappos a try. It was so easy; the shoes were delivered right away. This is such a convenience to me because I care for my two elderly parents and am always trying to find ways to simplify my life. Shopping on-line is made for me, especially when shipping and returns are free! Since my first order I have ordered two more times. I tried a pair of athletic sandals but returned them. I then chose another style and am completely happy with them. I just received an e-mail today telling me the first pair of returned sandals have been received by Zappos and they are beginning the crediting process to my charge card. This is the best way to shop! Thank you.

Product came very quickly and to my expectations. I have a 2E wide foot and have a hard time finding shoes to fit my feet! There was a very large selection to choose from. I will use Zappos again when I am purchasing shoes. I appreciate the free shipping (back) in case they didn't fit, or I didn't like them. Thanks.

Zappos is a fabulous company and I will order from them whenever I can! That being said, this particular pair of shoes did not hold up at all. My last pair of New Balance sneakers have lasted for years, but this pair is less than five months old and already has holes in the lining by the heels that cause blisters. Very disappointing! I can't thank Zappos enough for helping me with this problem!

I have order about 6 times from Zappos and have never been disappointed. Most times my shoes were there within 24 hours! They have a great selection and prompt service. It's the best.

Love this sneakers beacause they let me us my othodic in them. I have lots of heel problems. It give me a chance to get out and move around, even on my worst days. I all so love that the sneaker is not to heavy, and has great support.

These shoes were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I use them for my daily walks and they are comfortable on pavement as well as other surfaces. When I first walked in them I had them tied a little too tight below the ankle and they bothered me there. But the next time I loosened it there and they were great. Like walking on a cloud.

The New Balance WW558's are great! They fit well, look terrific. I have been purchasing shoes from Zappos for about four years and have NEVER had a problem with any product and certainly not the service. The shoes arrive almost as fast as if I drove to a Mall to pick them up! Unbelievable service and down-to-earth fair prices...often the best on the web!

Ordering was easy. Shipping was very fast. Unfortunately, the shoes were not the quality I expected. I have happily worn New Balance shoes for many years, but this pair have almost no cushion in the soles and I have very sore knees after every walk when wearing them! Look good. Feel terrible!

Very comfortable walking shoe. Doesn't seem to require any break in period. This is my second pair and I really like them. I ordered an 8 1/2 in this shoe and wear an 8 in sandals/dress shoes. The 8 was a little too snug.

These shoes are just wonderful. I was looking for a comfortable walking shoe that would provide me with the motion control features I need for my flat feet. These really fit the bill. I would caution, however, that they run a little small. Normally I order a 9 1/2, but with these I found that size was too small and returned them for a 10. These fit perfectly with just the right amount of room in the toe area. I love them! Also, Zappos handled my return/exchange with the highest degree of speed and proficiency. This is an awesome company that puts customer service first and foremost. Way to go again Zappos team!

These do run a 1/2 size small. I have to buy a 2E for the right foot (formerly broken) and only need an E for the left. These fit comfortably on both feet.

These shoes are styled well compared to others I've owned. It can be difficult to find nice looking shoes for my wide feet. They don't have as much arch support as I thought they would have, but offer a lot of footbed cushioning. Very comfortable while walking for exercise.

Overall, the New Balance WW558 is a sturdy, good looking walking shoe. It is a bit stiff to break in, but the support is good. I found the shoe to run a 1/2 size smaller than usual, but true to their word Zappos had the larger size in the mail before they received my return - at no extra cost!

Initially great - walking 2-3 miles. Went for 10 miles Saturday and nearly lost the little pig who went wee-wee-wee all the way home (pinky). I usually buy Asics because they typically have a wide toe box...ordered Asics yesterday...going back to a good thing. I will keep these for house work. Not good for distance if you have Flintstone feet like me.
