Recently I decided to give the Prism a try, though I admit, I was skeptical about the faceted edges. Any reservations I had were quickly put aside- the Prism is a technical machine! It is one of the best edging shoes I have tried, and the precision was awesome! It did exceptionally well on slightly overhanging technical routes, and though I used it sport climbing, I would definitely use this as a trad shoe as well, though I might upsize it if I were going to wear it for that. I have experienced some stretch, but minimal overall, perhaps a 1/4 size. I would recommend this shoe unequivocally to climbers looking for a good techy shoe - places like Smith, Shelf Road, any granite, and especially on limestone. Great performing shoe! Lastly, I think this is a shoe that anyone can wear, from beginner to advanced, it was comfortable, but I definitely trusted my feet in smaller, more difficult terrain.

 |  | I just wanted to write in because I have placed many orders in the last couple of months and returned several of the pairs. I am leaving for a trip to Paris in a couple of weeks and I've been searching for the right pair. I've not had much luck, but I wanted to let you guys know that it isn't because I've been unhappy with my shopping experience with Zappos. Quite the opposite actually. Because your customer service and purchasing/returning policy is so great - I just keep coming back. So thank you, for making life easier for those of us who lack the time to run around to the various shoe stores around town. You really make my life easier and give us all one less thing to worry about.
