This is a good looking shoe. Very simple. The ebony leather is a nice very dark brown color. These run very small! The size 43 was marked as a size 12, but is very short. At best, more like a size 11. I have a narrow foot and need a lot of support. The shoes seem very supportive and would have been perfect if they were a little longer. They\'re pricey, but I would have sprung for them if they would\'ve fit.

Great Shoe!
I wore these shoes EVERY day on a 10 day trip to Europe. My feet never hurt one time. Best shoe I've ever owned! Worth every penny.

Not Worth the Money -
I really thought hard about buying these shoes because of the price but decided to try them after reading the positive reviews of this shoe and Finn Comfort in general. I have been disappointed and sorry I purchased them but since I've worn them I'm stuck with them. There are two problems: the heel is too wide (like another Finn Comfort style I tried and returned) and the top rubs against my bunions. This wasn't a problem when I first tried them at home but after standing all day at work it has become a problem. The shoes are supportive but I have worn other supportive shoes that are no where near the price of these. My suggestion is to save your money and try other brands at a shoe store before investing in these. The look is okay, but clunky with skirts.

This shoe fits true to size and requires no breaking in period. It remains very comfortable after standing around in it at a party. I don't think that it looks quite as clunky as the picture makes it out to be. Overall it seems to be a great shoe with lots of support for the foot. I have not tried walking in it for multiple hours so I can't rate the performance as an all day walking shoe.

An investment in your feet -
I have a high instep and bunions, but these shoes make my feet feel normal. I wore these shoes throughout the fall and winter and they still look great. They are just as comfortable as athletic shoes (like New Balance). I would rather buy one pair of Finns than three pairs of Softwalks or Eccos. There was no breaking in period.

Great support, truly comfortable -
After recovering from a broken foot, I find that my feet need even more support than they used to. I have been searching for the shoe that can give me that support. The Finn Comfort Sonoma is a dream come true. They support my feet perfectly so that walking is now comfortable again. They look slightly less attractive in person compared to the way they appear on the site, with a slightly "orthotic" look about them, but that is unimportant compared to how comfortable they are. I am very glad I discovered this brand.

The Finns were comfortable right away. I usually wear shoes that are double wide, but Finn Comfort doesn't make a double wide. The D width was a great fit anyway and I don't need to wear my orthotics with these shoes.

 |  | Dear Zappos, My daughter (Morgan) is a student at Ohio State University.
Approximately one month ago she had emergency gall bladder surgery. On Tuesday, September 15th, she had a follow up with her surgeon before she was to leave to move into her dorm on Thursday, September 17th. At the appointment, the surgeon advised that under no circumstances was she to lift over ten pounds until the end of October. We were told to that she would have to use a rolling book bag. My friend highly recommended Zappos.com. On Tuesday, September 15th, Morgan and I picked out a book bag from Zappos. Morgan was so anxious to place her online order, she did not choose the priority shipping option. I called Zappos within 15 minutes of her placing the order. Your customer service rep was very kind and far exceeded my customer service expectations by making me a VIP and offering to waive the
overnight fee. I was very impressed and very grateful. The bag arrived overnight as promised, but it was too small. I hated to return the book bag because your rep had been so kind. Yesterday, a beautiful get well bouquet arrived at our home for Morgan. It was from Zappos! There is no way I will return that bag without picking something else out from Zappos. In addition, I want EVERYONE to know what a wonderful company you are. I am so impressed and cannot thank you enough Zappos! Also, thank you for giving me the e-mail address to send my feedback.
