Just not a comfortable shoe -
I have worn Born shoes for a long time and these shoes are just not comfortable when walking or standing for any length of time. They look great and are made very well but my feet throb after wearing them.

Great shoe overall. I\'ve been wearing them regularly since they arrived and my feet feel fantastic considering I\'m on them all day long! Nice casual dress shoe with plenty of flexibility. This is my 4th or 5th pair of Born\'s and the first trying this model. I\'ll be sticking with these from now on! Recommended for anyone that has to be standing for a long period of time. I thought that they were a little big looking at first but the wider sole actually made a difference in stability.

Born an excellent product -
I have worn Born shoes for several years and they are one of the most comfortable and long-wearing shoes I've owned. The insoles are extremely comfortable although a bit different in style from other brands. The Born Hedge is well constructed and fully meets my expectations.

Good casual shoe -
I had a pair of Born slip ons similar to these for 5 years and they were the best shoe I've ever owned. These don't quite match up to those, but is still a fine shoe. I think the tread gives it a firmer feel. I dropped some gel insoles in and they are pretty comfortable. I would buy these again.

Comfortable casual shoes -
These shoes are comfortable, but they run a little big. I was disappointed when I received them and saw that they were black, but the stitching was BRIGHT GOLD. If they were all black I would like them much more.

I was looking for a shoe easy to slip on in a hurry. The Born Hedge is comfortable, very casual. I would have liked it to have more wiggle room in the toe area, but it is still comfortable.

Great shoe -
Looks great, very comfortable, and lightweight. I wear it with khakis for business casual or with jeans. My wife says it looks very cute. Great for airplane travel, and a good year-round shoe in a moderate climate

As with other Born shoes I own I found the Hedge to be an excellent shoe. Well made, and extremely comfortable. I first ordered my usual size of 9.5 M but found it a half size too small and exchanged the first pair for a size 10 M. As always, returning shoes to Zappos for exchange or refund was a simple process.

Born did not compromise its standard for comfort with this shoe. It was a great fit out of the box and is increasingly comfortable as they molds to my feet. I definitely like the style and the tan shoes I purchased will dress up or down as need dictates. Congratulations Born on another fine shoe.

Fits like a glove off the bat. Looks great with business and casual. Excellent quality construction - I’m an urban office dweller, so a lot of concrete & carpet, and the shoe still looks great. Highly recommend. But get a size down from your usual size.

I like the style and color of these shoes. It took about a day to break in, but are now very comfortable. Have gotten some compliments on them.

Impulse purchase but the shoes are great!
This Born, the Hedge, is in every respect a valuable addition to my casual wardrobe and a gift for my feet. Since I first put them on I want to wear them every day. They are very comfortable, true to size and width, and look great. I was somewhat hesitant to order my regular size 9 and med width because the last pair of Borns that I bought were somewhat larger and wider, but these are as if custom built for me. I wish that all of my impulse purchases could be so successful.

 |  | I am a F.T. bar tender and am on my feet all night standing, walking and sometimes running! I work hard! I have had the same work shoes that I LOVE for about 10 years! I found your site through my daughter and found a pair of what I thought would be good work shoes. I saved my tips and months later made the order. I was ambivalent about spending so much money on SHOES but decided to just do it! They arrived yesterday morning! I wore them last night for the first time forgetting to bring a back up pair in case they hurt (new shoes and all). Well, I'm just sooooo happy to say that I LOVE them! My feet were just fine – ALL NIGHT! They were like wearing slippers w/ arch support. This morning I put my poor old tired out work shoes in the trash with no regrets! Your staff was SO kind and helpful over the phone and the promptness of delivery was amazing! Thank you so much!
