First of all, what's not to love about Zappos? But this review is about the shoes. This is my first pair of boots. I love them. They do run a tad big, though. I wish I returned them for a 1/2 size smaller. As a reference point, I wear a 9 1/2 running shoe, and have an injury that has caused one foot to swell. Thought I would be good with a 9 1/2. The sizing guide says that you should try these on with a dry sock and they should be snug around the arch/middle of the foot (where your laces would be). Snug means snug. My boots are a little loose after breaking in, but not overly so. I wear them every day. The look, feel, and comfort (really) are unmatched; would recommend to anyone. But personally, I will be knocking it down a half size for the next pair.

These boots are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. In the past, I've only owned Justin and Rocky boots, but Lucchese takes comfort and style to the max. I ordered these and ordered a half size too big so returned and Zappos customer service will not be matched anywhere, I guarantee it! Go ahead and look, I'm willing to pay a few more bucks for these for great service, free returns, and fast shipping. Received in one day! The boots have the softest leather and great craftsmanship. Very comfortable and will continue to buy Lucchese! I liked these so much I ordered a 2nd pair (1566). I wasn’t sure about the round toe b/c I love square or snip toe, but these are my favorites!

Lucchese Tan Ranch Hand review -
My first of pair of cowboy boots. Very impressed with the quality of the Lucchese leather; very, very soft and overall boot construction quality. Very comfortable and look great. I’m having a lot of fun with them. Fit very good as described in various guides - UK 7/ euro 41 for ankle boots matched to the Lucchese 8D exactly.

Great Boots -
These boots are fantastic, very cool looking and extremely comfortable. Lucchese is legendary for a reason; they are some of the finest boots you can find anywhere. The first pair that I ordered was a ½ size too big so I had to send them back. Zappos is the best; it was the easiest, most convenient return and exchange possible. I am completely satisfied with both the boots I purchased and the buying experience.

I ordered these boots for my husband on a Friday evening and they arrived Monday afternoon. He put them on the next day and has been wearing them every day since. He says that they were comfortable from the moment he slipped them on, no break-in period. I would recommend Lucchese boots to anyone who needs a high quality boot for everyday wear. Ordering from Zappos saves me from driving around boot shopping with this man, which is not fun.

My son loves these boots. They were more generously sized than his usual size 13 Vasque hiking boots. Our sincere thanks to Zappos for expediting the exchange for size 12 Luccheses.

These are the ones!
Great boots. The toes do not need to be registered as deadly weapons or proctology tools. I'm 6'2" and the heels are tall enough to provide a very comfortable natural arch and also a very nice 'in proportion' look in size 12. The boots are surprisingly light in weight, compared to other hand-made pairs I've worn. Fit is everything, this is my second pair of Lucchese boots and they seem to run between a half to a full size larger than expected. But then I'm old school, I don't like my foot sliding around in my boot. Get the fit right and the experience is like putting a fine pair of leather dress gloves on your feet, almost sensuous.

Great boots!
Boots are great. Fit is very close to the listed size. Doesn't take too much to break the shoe in. I'd like to learn more about caring for the leather.

Excellent look and all around quality boot -
First of all, the overnight shipping was great. I was curious to see how well this whole transaction would go and to be honest I couldn't be happier. The boot has a great color and feel to it. It is extremely comfortable. I'm definitely going to consider Zappos next time a buy shoes / boots and I certainly recommend Lucchese. Top notch!

Surprised -
These are the first pair of cowboy boots I have owned. To me, they never looked as they would be comfortable. These Lucchese boots are fantastic. Well worth the few extra dollars, quality is perfect. I plan on getting another pair in black in a different style but the same manufacturer.

Great Boots...Great Service!
What a bargain. The leather is very supple and I have gotten quite a few compliments on them. I was surprised with how comfortable they are. My feet are usually tired at the end of the day after wearing boots, not with these, extremely comfortable.

Lucchese 1883 N1596 R/4 -
Lucchese boots are simply the most comfortable boot I've ever worn; the leather is so soft and buttery. The quality of the boot and slightly distressed look of this particular style is second to none.

You can not go wrong with either one.
This is my third pair of Lucchese boots, and each of them came from Zappos (where else). Lucchese boots are the only thing I wear; they are the only thing truest to your foot. I guess they have been doing things right since they have been in the boot making business since 1883. I would recommend these boots because of the support, comfort, style and long wearing. Zappos and Lucchese are #1 and always will be.
PS- Lucchese boots are also doctor approved for leg and back problems. So buy a pair from Zappos today, you can not go wrong with either one.
