I have to say, I was a little nervous ordering these boots because I can never get any that fit my calves comfortably. When I received the boots and tried them on I was very happy with them. They fit well; I ordered my exact size (10), and I had plenty of room to fit jeans inside the boots as well as thicker socks! I love them!

Great fit - color is a lie -
If this is black, then my whole wardrobe is off. These are absolutely gorgeous boots and I'd love them if they were actually BLACK...or if I'd wanted gray ones. I love the styling, the height, the fit, the sturdiness. BUT these ARE NOT BLACK. There’s even a strip of black inside and that's true black. These match nothing black of mine that I already own. I bought these to wear specifically with two dresses and can't because the gray makes it look like I can't tell what black is.
Going back...DARN IT!

Soooo bummed!
These boots are not even close to black! They are grey! I'm really disappointed because I finally found a pair of tall boots that fit over my calves and they're not the right color at all!

TERRIBLE -
This boot was horrible. When I opened the box and looked at the material of this boot, I thought that they sent me USED boots. It wasn't until I read the previous reviews of folks commenting about the material. The picture truly mislead me into thinking that these boots are actually some kind of leather. HOWEVER, it isn't. They were shipped back immediately.

Borderline -
So I have been dying to have a pair of zip up boots. I am 5'4'' and have 17 inch calves. Nice, huh. So I got these in "black leather" and was totally disappointed in what I received. The color was more of a dull gray. From what others have said I am not even going to try and shine them up. Sadly, I am sending them back, even though I was able to zip them up. They did take a little work to get them up, but they zipped, which is more than I can say for any other zip boot. Still on the lookout. Love, love, love Zappos and the quick delivery and easy return policy!

Not Brown -
Yeah, I definitely agree with the commenter below me. I just held these up to the light, and they are undeniably a very deep plum. However, this is an incredibly comfortable boot, which I could realistically see myself wearing for an entire day. I have returned 6 other boots because of my calves, but these definitely fit thick calves. But I still don't think they are worth the price. I'll be returning them.

Great boots for muscular legs!!!
I have never been able to own zip-up boots until now. These are GREAT. They look really sexy. Don't expect to fit your pants in them though. The black leather is dull and distressed. They look great on. Highly recommended.

That Choco color is NOT brown!!!
I have returned two pairs of boots from Zappos. The first pair was totally my fault, as I didn't notice the ugly yellow rubber sole on one pair. The second pair was on Zappos, as the boot was actually not wide calf at all. Now I purchase the Beppo boot, which seems to me to be just like Jigsaw, in what is supposed to Choco (dark brown) leather. Well, the boot fits great, looks exactly like the picture EXCEPT IT'S NOT REALLY BROWN!!! It's some sort of deep purplish, reddish, brownish business. It's not an unattractive boot, but I really was expecting brown! I'm tired of returning shoes to Zappos, though I'm very impressed with their free return shipping AND overnight shipping on items purchased with store credit. Nice touch. I'll keep the boots and see if I can get some kind of ... I don't know what I can do to them! I'd hate to return them AGAIN, but the boot is JUST NOT BROWN!

Beautiful, but narrow boot -
The calf fit well in this wide-calf boot. Unfortunately, the boot was very narrow at the ball of the foot -- and I have a normal width foot. The top of the foot doesn't have much support or structure and I felt like it formed to the shape of my foot -- which wasn't very attractive and would have become misshapen over time. The heel was a comfortable height and it's a beautiful boot.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I ended up purchasing a Sudini Posta wide calf that I love!

These boots are great. Finally boots that fit my calves comfortably. I was also able to dance the night away in them without painful feet the next day.

Just alright...
I didn't expect much by the reviews. I will say that the boots zipped over my large calf. Beware that the leather is dull. I moisturized and shined these boots to no avail. The sole is thin and the boots don't look cheap. However I kept them since they fit my calf. I will try polishing them again. The toe and shoe is shaped funny as well. You will need gel inserts for some comfort.

Great Boot -
This was my first time ordering from Zappos. Received the boots the next day as promised. Am in love with this boot. I usually wear a size 8.5 in sandals but always buy my boots in size 9. They fit like a glove and are so comfortable and actually fit my calves! I wore them to work the other day and didn't have any comfort problems at all. Will definitely order from Zappos again!!!

Nice Boots -
I read the reviews about the boots and ordered a size up like the reviews suggested and they fit wonderful! And they fit my calves which I was most happy about. The only thing that I did not like is that a heel broke with in 3 weeks of having the boots.

Nice, wide boot -
These are REALLY literally wide calf boots. I have big calves but didn't really need them this big. I'd advise measuring before buying. They are pretty cute... the black color is a bit dismal though.

These boots were made for compliments but not much walking -
I bought these boots based on online reviews. I had spent a frustrating day at the mall unable to find anything that would zip up my calf. I don't consider myself fat--I wear a size 12 and I work out every day. Anyway, these fit my calves perfectly and the pointy toes are very sexy. The sole is pretty thin--I went out at lunchtime and bought insoles which helped. Everyone in my office loved my boots.

Finally, boots I can wear!
I'm very excited because I finally am able to wear ALL leather tall boots that fit my calves. I am 5' tall and not a large girl. I've always had muscular calves. I wear a 7 - 7.5 shoe size and could never ever ever find boots that fit me right. These look good, fit perfect and are very comfortable. I ordered them late Friday night and they came today (Monday 12/31). I decided to try them out so I wore them all day running around town running errands and was warm and comfortable. I especially like how the entire inside of the boot is covered with padding and fabric so your legs are nice and cozy if you don't wear tights. I give these boots a big thumbs up.

Great Boots -
I love these boots! After I read other reviews I ordered one size larger than my normal size. I normally wear a size 10 wide and I have 18 inch calves. I have never been able to wear a tall boot like this! The shoes are soo comfortable I can wear them all day! I would definitely order more pairs of these boots in the future!

The boots arrived promptly (of course) and they were as advertised. The fit was fine; however, the boots are fairly uncomfortable. The ball of the foot has not padding and I was ready to take them off after a few hours. The wide calf was a perfect fit.

Fat legs have met their match!
I tried a few other knee-high boots before this one and I had almost given up. However, these were a very pleasant surprise. It is mission impossible to find knee-high boots that will fit my fat calves, but not only did these fit, they are very comfortable and at the end of the day, I am still happy with them (which is my real test). So glad I took another chance.

Love these boots!
Took the advice of the previous reviewers and ordered a size larger than my size - great advice. As a person with larger calves, I have never had boots that were leather ALL THE WAY UP without some sort of spandex, etc. THESE ARE GREAT! The leather is so soft; they are very comfortable and look hot. Thanks Zappos for having such a great selection of these hard to find boots!

Wide calves rejoice!
I'm short and I have huge calves. W/that being said, I have THE hardest time finding tall boots. I almost gave up till I found these. They not only fit my calf (15 3/4") but they fit well on my feet too. Granted, I bought it a half size up but it still fits well. I inserted the Dr. Scholl's For Her Comfort Insoles and they fit like a dream! Even the heel height doesn't bother me. I love it!

Great Sexy Boots!
These boots are so sexy. Very good looking and the leather is very soft. The only complaint that I have is that the shaft of the boot is not long enough, but I still like them. I mostly wear these boots with long skirts. Also, these boots run small. I usually wear a size 9 to a 9.5 and I initially ordered a 9.5. I had to send them back because they were too small. I ordered the 10 and they fit perfect. All in all, I would recommend these boots. They are dressy looking and comfortable too.

The Must Have Calf Boot!
I have been looking for a wide calf boot for years! When I first put these on, they were a perfect fit, now I'm ordering it in the brown. I was so excited I just had to call my sister and friends to brag about it. I will definitely order from Zappos again!
