Dressy yet very comfortable -
Very happy with this shoe. It's very dressy. Does not look like a "comfort" shoe. Has a more modern softly squared toe. Extremely lightweight. Great overall.

Typical Rockport Dressport quality. The square toe makes my smaller, high-arched feet look longer and slimmer. Only downside is that for a W width, it's a bit narrower than the round-toed wing-tips I usually by in the Dressport line (e.g. Addington). I'd by one width wider next time.
Zappos order processing was (as usual) superb, and lightning fast.

Ordered an oxblood pair. Received in 2 days. I wore them 1 day, came home from work and ordered a pair in black. They feel like an "OLD FRIEND".

Good looking shoe, horribly uncomfortable.
This shoe may look great. But, it is one of the most uncomfortable shoes that have ever been my feet. I have worn them four times now and my feet hurt worse the more I wear them. I have never had a shoe that hurt my foot as bad as these! Those looking for comfort spend a little extra and get a pair of Eccos. Put my old pair on today and they are awesome.

Great Shoes!
Very comfortable right out of the box. Great looking shoe with high level of comfort to match. Fit is great even with my custom orthotics. Shoe looks like you paid several hundred dollars for it.

Great looking shoe -
I really like the shoes, which is why I kept it even tho it was a little bit narrow on me. I think that had to do more with my feet than the shoe (it's extremely hard to find good looking EEE shoes). I think the style is great, wingtips without being overly flashy. Great for all work occasions.

My husband loves these shoes.
The sole is a bit harder, less spongy than his last pair of Rockport Dressports but he still likes them. Maybe the sole will last longer.

Will be excellent after I break them in -
I have not had to break in a pair of shoes in a long time. These shoes are very comfortable, except for the heel which I am breaking in. Do not plan to walk in these all day on the first day. Plan to break them in a few hours at a time. Otherwise, they are great shoes.

Very nice. Comfortable out of the box. I recommend these. The soles are not leather like more expensive shoes but some sort of synthetic material. Nonetheless, comfortable and looks nice.

Gorgeous shoe!
This is a gorgeous shoe. It is comfortable and stylish. Rockport has taken a classic shoe and given it a beautiful, stylish, modern update! These shoes look great with a suit and jeans. Zappos is great, too!

Rockport Farren ROCKS!
I've owned Rockports before, but hadn't bought a pair in at least 10 years because I always felt they didn't look as "classy" as leather soled shoes. I gave in and tried this pair and I LOVE them. Comfortable. Stylish. Classy looking.

Good shoe, not as nice as older model Rockports -
I was a longtime wearer of Rockports in the past, but have not owned a pair in the last 5 or 6 years due to the cost of replacing the soles. I thought I would try another pair. These do not fit quite the same as the Rockports wingtips of the past. They run a little narrower. I do not like the styling with the more square toe as much as the older styles with a more classical look. Also, the cordovan color on these shoes leans more to the brown than the classic dark burgundy cordovan of the past. For the price, I do not find great value in this shoe. I kept them because I have a hard to fit foot and could not find anything else in the general style type that fit me better. I am generally satisfied, but will probably not buy another pair. The Bostonian Phillips is a better value, but has the negative aspect of having soles that mark vinyl floors very badly and do not come in cordovan.

Comfortable fit after a short break-in period -
I've worn these shoes about a week, and they feel very comfortable. The first day I wore them, I ended up having to scramble around downtown on foot, so my heels took the brunt of the break-in period. By the next time I wore them; the shoes were flexible and caused no problems. I would definitely suggest that you do not wear these shoes for the first time on any day that you anticipate a lot of walking. However, with that caveat, these are very sharp-looking shoes that aptly serve their purpose. I would buy this brand and style again.

I love these shoes. They're a stylish take on a traditional design and have the Rockport comfort. They were immediately comfortable and didn't require a break in period. I got the oxblood color and it's a nice dark color I can wear with suits from grays to browns. I recommend it.

Great comfort -
Looking at the shoes after they arrived, I feared that my feet would be tired after the first day. I was happy to find that the shoes were very comfortable and required very little break in time. I began wearing them on a Monday and continued for the rest of the week without any discomfort. Great shoes.
