Comfortable but only good for about 6 months wear. I like these shoes a lot. They give good ankle support and very good cushioning for walking on concrete. I have just purchased a second pair after wearing a hole in the heel and sole of the last pair I had. And that's the problem with these shoes, the soles are well padded and spongy, but they are only good for about 6 months with any kind of normal walking. So I have on my new pair, and I plan to take the old ones down to the local shoe repair store to have them resoled.

Comfortable, good looking boot.
I bought these a week ago hoping they would be the perfect footwear for an upcoming trip to Russia where there is sure to be tons of walking. I've worn them every day and absolutely love them. So totally comfortable and look good with everything short of maybe a suit. Definitely happy with my purchase.

Really nice boot -
I like the style and the design of this boot. It is very comfortable from the start; however, I wish it had a bit more arch support. Otherwise, it's a really great boot and I recommend this for both casual and casual dress situations. I'm not sure it is at the level of a hiking boot but for general outdoor use it is okay.

I bought these as work boots in a woodshop, which was a big mistake. Granted, maybe I don't have the best posture, but I literally wore a hole into the heel of this boot within a month of normal working conditions. Fortunately, Zappos has amazing customer service and I was able to return the pair of boots for a full refund. Thanks.

A great shoe from a great place -
As usual, ordering from Zappos couldn't be easier. They had what I wanted, I received it the next day at no charge and it was exactly as described at their site.
This shoe is really made for casual wear, but it's attractive enough to wear with a blazer, or for casual "button down" Fridays. I would highly recommend it, as well as Zappos as a place to buy any shoes.

Great looking and fitting casual boot! They look casual rather than like a work boot--which is what I was looking for. I received a number of compliments about this boot. One person said they looked kind of nostalgic which I have to agree with him. Good arch support.

Great boot - half size larger is true for me too -
This is a great boot in the brown Nubuck. I wish that it came in black Nubuck and I would buy another pair! I also found that once I sized "down" a half-size I had a perfect fit.

Nice boot.
This boot looks good with jeans or cords. Thin leather is not insulated so don't expect any warmth. Not a dressy boot.

Nice shoe/boot. Felt a half size larger and the toe area seemed a little wide. Very comfortable after I switched to a half size smaller.

Fit well the first time I put them on. They provide plenty of support. They look good with jeans and Dockers but nothing dressier than that. They provide good traction. Strength of a boot but look of a shoe.

I bought all three -
I liked these boots so much, I ended up buying all three colors. They are incredibly comfortable from the first wear. The sole is extremely durable and sturdy but very light. It doesn't feel like a heavy boot at all. They maintain their shape well and the colors/textures are true to the photos. How 'bout a dark chocolate suede?

Fabulous Boot -
Being my first pair of "casual" boots I didn't know what to expect. After recently purchasing a pair of Clark's dress shoes I was sold on the brand. The boots simply reinforced my conviction. Relatively light, well cushioned, attractive, and versatile. I used Gempler's water proofer on them and have had great results. They even served me well on a recent, spur of the moment hike.
I wear a 10 Regular, but due to stock issues I ended up with a 10 Wide and they still fit just fine, even allowing for heavier socks.

Solid boot -
Great looking boots (suede) and only took one wear to break-in. I like the fact that the bottom sole is very flexible compared to most other boots which adds to the comfort. I normally wear size 10.5, but bought size 10 in this boot and it fits perfectly. I also picked up a suede brush and scotch guard type spray to waterproof.

I am extremely picky about my shoes, looks as well as how they feel. It took a while, but I finally found a comfortable boot! I have worn these about twp weeks now and love them. Buy with confidence!

This would have been my first order with Zappos (I'm not really a shoe person), but you didn't have the shoe I wanted in my size. She stuck with me, said it was corporate policy to find the shoe somewhere else if possible, and that it was also corporate policy to not set a time limit on calls, so the search went on until she found the shoe (on sale, no less!) at the Easy Spirit web site!
