I wanted a pair of comfortable slippers with outdoor soles that I could use as my regular weekend footwear and these work perfectly. They're warm and comfortable in the house and when I need to go out to do weekend errands or go to the grocery store I can just leave them on. At first I thought they might be a size too small, but after a number of wearings they have come to fit very well. A quality product, highly recommended.

I got these slippers for my husband who had never, before now, worn slippers. He loves these. His feet are wide and he uses an orthotic. We still ordered the medium and says they are not tight and comfortably accommodate his insert. Great looking too!

These slippers look and fit great and are very warm. They provide enough support to walk outside for the newspaper, but are comfy around the house. Good for a wide foot.

I ordered 2 other similar slippers from ebay and they both had wrong sizes or inferior material. The slippers I got a Zappos were perfect.

Bought these for my husband. 1st, they were delivered in less than 24 hours! When he put them on there was an expression that just said Ahhhh. Said they were the perfect fit/width. He loves them.

Very Nice Slipper -
I purchased 6 different slippers, and this is the one I like best for comfort, ease to put on and looks. Bottom has just the right amount of padding for slipper - some I tried had too much soft cushion so that when I walked, I sank down into the shoe. Great shoe. I wear wide width and seems plenty wide for my foot.

Fit and look is great... right on the money. Super comfortable. The lambs wool lining feels terrific! I'd buy these slippers again and recommend them to anyone.

Great Slippers -
Tried a few slippers out there. These were the only ones that felt right. Ordered a 1/2 size up. They felt a bit snug when brand new, but after a week or so, they've loosened up nicely.
I'd buy these again.
Love the Zappos policy for shipping (I had actually ordered 2 pairs, different sizes and shipped back the ones that I didn't choose).

Great Slipper -
I wear these slippers outdoors quite a lot. They get worn to the mailbox, taking my two dogs out a couple of times a day (each) to do their business along with the clean-up, as well as shoveling off my 15' X 15' deck every time it snows.
It has been a very cold and snow-filled winter. My feet stayed warm and dry.
These slippers are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

UGG Replacement -
First let me say if you shopped around for the Carters and couldn't find them that's because when I received them there was a tag on them and imprinted on bottom also on box was HideAways. Just a little typed word said Carter on the box. I called Zappos and with this information and with their excellent staff, did some research and found out that nobody else carried the Carter until they put in HideAways and then there was a sub category for the Carters. (Great detective work Zappos) Now we know. For the slippers now...I first ordered a pair of Uggs. I have a very wide foot between3&5E. The Uggs were just too tight. These Carters have a great non slip sole, suede outers and warm shearling insides that whisks away moisture also. They even fit me with my socks on. P.S. When reading reviews for slippers, remember they're slippers, they're not going to have arch support.

Un-Pleasable Husband Pleased -
My husband has a hard-to-fit foot (size 11EEE) and gets very frustrated going shoe shopping. He desperately needed slippers as we have wood floors (and dogs that need to be taken out frequently in the evenings). He was amazed at a) how quickly these slippers arrived and b) that they fit him perfectly! He is very, very pleased. Thanks, Zappos!

Very warm slipper for the coldest days!
I bought these slippers for my husband to wear in the deep of the winter. He likes the rubber sole that keeps him from slipping on the hard wood floors. He says they are very warm.

Zappos has lived up to their high standard of service. I bounced back and forth between 3 L.B. Evan's styles similar to the Carter before making my final decision. Zappos size guide and previous reviews enabled me to pick the right size first time. I actually measured my foot length from heel to tip of big toe and looked up on the size guide and picked a half size up. They felt a bit snug initially but over the first couple of weeks they have settled in nicely. Putting them on requires a finger at the heel to stretch the elastic as you slip them on. Very comfortable, good looking and good quality.

My husband says these are not a comfortable as his old slippers (Acorn Sheepers), but not so bad that he wanted to return them. Sorry he couldn't get more specific than that.

A great looking slipper, I found it to run about a half size to a full size too small, I guess that would depend on if it were to "break in" -if so, half size, BUT you have to wear it awhile to know. It just did not seem to truly live up to its description... however, my favorite sandals EVER, I purchased from ZAPPOS... I hated them, they hurt my feet so bad! However I loved the way they looked so I kept wearing them...they broke in and are PERFECT! I will be purchasing another pair this Spring. My point, it is hard to know the comfort or support when the slipper or any shoe is too small, or you cannot wear it a few days to REALLY know-unless it's a perfect fit the moment you put it on.
I can say the CARTER SLIPPER is a Very Nice Looking and has a nice sole to be able to wear it outside.
I'll try something new... something with feedback, it helps... most of the time.

The town I live in, here in Wyoming does not have many shopping options and I would need to travel about 5 hours for a major shopping trip.
