Love the Sorels -
I was very excited to find these shoes - they are a lot more expensive in Canada for some reason. These are extremely functional for cold and wet Canadian winters and very comfortable too! They’re a bit bulky but I expected that! I LOVE these boots and would recommend them to anyone!

Nice looking shoes for winter fun, they are stiff at the beginning and after wearing them for several times at home feel quite comfy. I tried 8 and it was way too big, so I went with 7 instead. The boots seem to be extra wide in toe area which is not an issue. Nice comfort boots and don't expect them to be a fashion statement, they are for winter.

Not for me -
I like the funky look of these boots, but they don't fit my feet. The size 7 seemed a bit small, but my feet were swimming in the size 8. It seemed like the size 8 was not only longer but much wider than the size 7. Also, compared to the Sorel Caribou the upper is stiffer, and the boot just seems less comfortable all around.

Made for the Midwest -
I bought a pair of these two years ago, and I still wear them every day during the five months of winter we have here in Minneapolis. They are warm, dry, and incredibly good when walking on ice. Also, I dress kind of funky and I love wearing them with jeans tucked in or even with legwarmers and a skirt! They run pretty big, but I wear them with bulky socks, so they fit perfectly. Get them!

Not only that, but these Clark shoes must be the most comfortable shoes I have ever purchased. I am a BBW (big beautiful woman) standing at 5'10" and weighing around 190 pounds and it is so hard for me to first of all find shoes that fit, and second of all to have anything that does fit look fashionable.
