Looks better in the picture.
I received the shoe very quickly as Zappos is the paragon of customer service. The shoe itself looks like a shoe for clowns once it gets on the foot. Perhaps in another color it may look better, but the chestnut/bark shoe was handsome only until I put it on. The shoe felt a quarter size smaller than marked, but was very comfortable. Had the shoe looked better on me I would have simply traded up for the next half size up. If I were 15-25 yrs old, I suppose the look would work. I was sad to have to send them back, but I did trade up for the Lisbon’s, which look a whole lot more refined and fit great. This is my first pair of Keens and I am happy with the manufacturer overall.

Keen is my new favorite shoe maker! EXCELLENT fit right out of the box. Overall fit and width felt true to me. I love the Bronx design, and the grey/green combo looks great with jeans and darker chinos, plus the colors are light enough to wear with shorts too.
Very happy with this purchase!

Mesh Frays -
I have the steel gray model, and I loved them. About six months after I bought them, the mesh began to fray and get fuzzy (and this was after only occasional wear). I thought they must have been a bad pair, so I called Zappos who kindly exchanged them. Now, six months later, they're doing it again. It's a shame, but these shoes just don't hold up.

Most comfortable shoe I've owned. Period.
I'm a big guy with flat feet who has a hard time finding shoes that fit well and hold up under heavy wear and tear. The first time I tried them on I was amazed at how comfortable they were. Two days later I left for a four day convention were I did a lot of walking and standing. These were the only show I took with me and I never regretted it. Now I just have to see how well they hold up through 8 weeks of summer camp work.
Also, this is my first time ordering from Zappos and I am now a true fan. I order these shoes at 11:00pm on a Saturday night and they were at my house (in upstate NY) at 3:00pm on Monday. Impressive!

Heel Blisters!
I used to love this shoe style. This is my 4th pair but recently Keen changed the material in the heel. The material used to be cloth but this new leather-like material never breaks in and causes terrible heel blisters. After two months of attempting to break these in I give up. Both new pairs are going back.

Best walking shoes I've ever had. Needs 10 stars.
I'm not the type to spend $100 on a pair of casual shoes but I got these because I liked the look. Now I wear them everywhere. I spend a day at Disneyland and after miles of walking, my feet and legs felt great. I'll be getting more Keens'. They do have an unusual amount in the toe but I grew to like it. I'm hooked.

A Perfect Fit!
First, I ordered the shoes at 7:00PM on Thursday and they were waiting for me when I got home from work on Friday! WOW!
The Bronx fits me like it was made for me. I have a narrow (C) foot, but the Lace-to-Toe makes the shoe fit perfectly. Love the big toe box.

I wanted so much to like these shoes, but...
The tongue pushes down so hard on the base of my toes that it is very painful to walk in them. These shoes are extremely cute and I have a pair of Keen sandals that I really love. It broke my heart to have to return them. Although otherwise they fit, I may try a size larger to see if that makes a difference, but I think it just may be the design and/or my high arch.

My Favorite Shoes -
I have 2 pair of Bronx Mesh in different colors. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I have high insteps, high arches and wide feet, so fit is not a given. I also own 2 other pair of Keen shoes and just ordered sandals. I haven't started wearing them to work yet, but I might.

Best shoe around!
I purchased 2 pairs of these shoes for my son for Christmas. He wanted only the mesh sides as the leather make his feet sweat and Zappos was the only place I could find this shoe. My son has extreme bunions on his feet so he needs a very comfortable shoe. Zappos was a great place to shop and the order came in a very timely manner. I will definitely shop Zappos again.

Women to Men's size conversion for Bronx -
I bought a pair of the Women's Bronx mesh ..fuzz color..and was instantly thrilled, which isn't easy because I have wide fussy feet. I was sad to see no more Bronx Mesh being made for women's sizes, so I took a chance and ordered this color in a men's pair... I take a 9 in Keens Women's and a 7.5 in men's that we ordered was PERFECT. So so pleased.

One of the most comfortable shoes ever -
Keen Bronx shoes are very comfortable. I own 2 pairs of the Bronx...not to mention about 4 pairs of the sandals too. If you are looking for style and comfort these I recommend.

My husband and I got the Bronx first, and then I sent a pair to my son. Wonderful, feel great instantly. I have bad feet, and the Keen shoes all have felt great. I can hike for miles in them. I love them and would recommend to anyone looking for quality and comfort!

Keen's Bronx Mesh -
With my plantar fasciitis condition these shoes provide cushioning to the heel and fairly good arch support. The cushioned removable insole is seemingly forming to the shape of my foot after five or so wearings. With the style and design of the shoe with the wide toe box even in size 11.5 does not make the shoe appear like you are wearing boats. I have not had the mesh unravel yet as some are saying but if it does within the next month or two either the merchant or Keen is going to hear about it. Complaint: The tongue of the shoe does not stay centered. After wearing the shoe only for a short time the off centered tongue makes the top of the shoe uncomfortable on the top of the foot. Keen should have built a gusseted (attached at the sides) tongue into this shoe or provided an area on the tongue for the laces to go through. The tongue of the shoe is not attached to the shoe other than at the toe area. I am considering taking the shoes to a shoe shop to see if they can come up with and idea to get the tongue of the shoe to stay centered. Overall this shoe is great and has provided plantar fasciitis comfort. I can wear them for a seven hour day without feeling heel or arch pain though my condition is presently considerably better than it was in which I hope these shoes will aid in regulating my heel pain. The shoe is flexible and does not feel heavy on the feet. I am going to tape off the rubber areas and apply spray water repellant since I did find that the suede is not repelling even light rain. I have the Keen Newport H2 sandals in men’s size 11 but I had to go to a men’s size 11.5 in the Keen Bronx Mesh shoe.

The shoe is greatly amazing. The comfort is there, nothing lacking, and the style of the shoe is great. And the quality of the shoe is stellar as well, the material. I don't think that I should need a new shoe for a few years at least.

Keen's Bronx Mesh -
I own several pairs of Keen shoes. The Bronx has been the most troublesome. I returned my first pair after a month because the heel padding separated from the shoe. The second pair lasted about a year before the padding started to separate. The mesh is frayed in many places and coming loose at the stitches. I love my Keen shoes they are the most comfortable pair of shoes that I have ever owned.

Great shoe, great color... I originally tried to order a women's shoe but my size was not available (8.5). I ordered a size 7 men's and I'm very happy with it. The shoe is very comfortable and so far durable. I would buy this shoe again without hesitation.

Bronx mesh falls apart -
Great shoes in all respects except they fall apart! After only a few months, first the mesh material began to develop fuzz fibers all over it and now after nine months suddenly on one shoe the mesh has frayed in two spots where it's stitched to the suede and same thing in one spot on the other shoe!!! Also, round laces are impossible to keep tied, even with double-knotting. Too bad cause otherwise I love them.

That new-shoe smell...
I had tried to buy these locally, but no one had it in my size. I love the shoes, but I have to say, they have a strong new-shoe smell. It's like chemical nylon type of smell. I sit at work with them on and I can smell my shoes from under the desk. I presume it will wear off, but it's strong enough to prevent me from wearing them as often as I'd like. The fit and comfort are excellent though. I wear 8.5's comfortably in other brands, but the 9 was a more appropriate fit for the Bronx Mesh.

A very good shoe -
My husband purchased this shoe and has found it to be very well made with no problems regarding the quality of the mesh. It breathes well and is stylish enough to wear to work on casual Fridays! This shoe provides the width that he has trouble finding in a lot of shoes these days~ his five toes are happy to be unsquished!! Zappos provides a secure purchase transaction and stellar customer service and satisfaction all of the time. It is amazing the consistency of their quality of business. Way to go!!
