Some shoes cost a lot of money because of the designer name affixed to the label; others because of their quality and detail. Gentle Souls shoes are worth their price in my opinion. If you've never tried their leather insole, you are missing out. Comfortable and stylish, what else could a woman want? I purchased them in the black and they are very versatile. In fact, Iso Bop is my new everyday shoe. I wear them with pants and skirts, during the work week and weekend. The upturned toe might bother some people and yes, that is black elastic on the top, but the elastic looks nice and keeps your foot inside (you won't be slipping out). Admittedly, my budget only allows me to buy occasionally from this brand, but I would rather spend good money on one nice pair of shoes than less money on a shoddy shoe that will hurt. These are quite fabulous for a daily commute to work. I love that they have a slight heel to them to accommodate the arch support I covet. Thankfully, the footbed is so soft, yet sturdy that I can easily walk from the BART station to my office with ease. I normally wear an 8.5, but an 8 fit just right in the length. If you have foot issues, these are quite comfy and dreamy to wear.

I think these will be great -
Just received these, haven't worn them out yet. These are well made shoes with soft leather inside and out, awesome footbed. They seem to run a tad narrow (great for me). My only concern is that the footbed is super low so that the tops of my feet feel a bit squished down, but the leather is so soft, it's hard to imagine they won't give. These could be those perfect "go to" shoes for casual work, travel, anything.
