Rockport Marradi -
Rockport makes a good shoe, but I find that their boots are not tough enough to be rated a boot. This boot was a replacement for a pair of Rockport High Torque boots. The sole completely fell off the High Torque boot in less than 6 months, and leaked in less than one month (final point of failure).
The replacement boot (Marradi) was more of an ankle high "shoe" and as such was not comfortable. Arch support was lacking and the heel plate was located in the arch area of the foot/boot. As a work boot it is lacking.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Danner boot, stiched down construction and made in good old USA

Shoe strings... need shoe cables instead -
Very comfortable, but the design of the eyelets is very poor. Indeed, I had to replace my shoe strings on both boots within 5 days of owning. For the price of this boot, that seems outrageous!

Nice boot -
Took awhile to break in. I’ve had 'em for about two weeks and they're starting to feel pretty good. Expected the air sole to be a tad bit softer, but I feel like they'll last a good long time. One thing, the eyelets seem to be designed by someone with a very sadistic attitude toward shoestrings. Already had to replace the first pair. They literally lasted only a week. A new record for me.

Wrapped in comfort -
For the constant city traveler, these boots are remarkably comfortable, rugged and lightweight. These are so well made that I sometimes forget that I am wearing them. Excellent choice for use over snow and in rain on concrete or hard-paved surfaces, yet fashionable for use in an office setting.

Great multi-use boot -
Only took about two wearings to break in. Felt a bit narrow at first, but that brief break in, sizing was perfect. Very comfortable, also a great looking boot. I wear it for casual days and out at night, relegated my old Rockports (which are still holding out great) to outside work. Zappos is the greatest at getting the product out quickly, can't beat their shipping time. I have ordered several pairs of shoes and am always very pleased with their service.

Stepping into paradise!
I have been buying Rockport shoes for over 20 years and I have yet to be disappointed by one of their shoes. This boot is the best looking hiking boot I have ever seen. I had the last model of hiking boots called the XCS for over three years and these babies got me through a war zone and several hurricanes including Katrina. I work long hours in very inhospitable conditions as a journalist and nothing keeps my feet more comfortable or drier than these babies! They are the lightest most comfortable hiking boots I have ever found.
Zappos delivered my shoes as fast as breaking news on CNN.
I have since bought a third pair of Rockports for my girlfriend (not hiking boots) and she is forever mine now...

Tight boots -
This is an excellent boot but the sizing runs a little bit small. I have had to give up my thick socks to allow my feet to fit into the shoes. I would have exchanged it for a larger size...if it had been available. However, given my overall size, 400 lbs plus, this boot does an excellent job of supporting my weight.

These are fantastic boots. They are made well, look great and are extremely comfortable. They also polish easily and take a high shine. I could not be more pleased with them.

Great Boot -
The tongue dug into me while driving for about a week until they were broken in. That’s the only bad thing I can say. A great work boot... light and super comfortable. I walk about 5 miles a day at work and my feet feel fine at the end of the day. I think I’ll get a second pair and keep em clean because they look awesome with jeans too.
