I am having a terrible time finding shoes… the wide is not wide enough around the toes or the extra wide is too wide and my foot slips around. The shoe does make your feet look small and would be comfortable with the right fit.

A great shoe - The fit was excellent as well as the comfort, I like the fact that I can change the insoles to accommodate the thickness of the sock I want to wear. A great shoe for the price.

These may look ugly, but my friend and I felt that they look like clogs... they are very comfortable first time out. I bought the extra wide and they feel great. Kind of a European look to them. And someone actually said my feet look small in them... and I got a size 9!!!

I ordered the Smart Walkers for my trip to Ireland. I am disappointed in the fit. I feel that the shoe is larger than the size normally is. I have had a hard time finding socks that will keep the shoes from sliding around, something I do not want happening while I'm doing major walking in Ireland.

Looking for Support -
I ordered this shoe for my mother-in-law because she had been having frequent falls. We suspected the shoes; she had been wearing another brand. This shoe is great because it is so sturdy and gives her ankles more support and therefore with the good platform and strong construction of the body of the shoe she has not fallen since wearing them. The look isn't the greatest, but that is not what we were looking for, we were trying to prevent a hip fracture. Mom says the shoes are very comfortable and the fit is about a 1/2 size smaller than her normal size. Great shoe for the elderly.

Very excellent for wide feet,
Comfortable. Fits my wide feet very well and has the option for orthopedics, but could be not so heavy looking on the sole. Makes you feel like they are granny shoes.
