If you think slippers are comfortable, then you'll love to wear this shoe. I have a very short and wide foot so comfortable and good looking shoes are very difficult to find. In all my 53 years I cannot ever recall purchasing any other type of shoe that feels pillow-soft and like you've already broken them in straight out of the box. This was my very first Zappos purchase and although I have always been hesitant to buy shoes online, I was more than pleasantly surprised. I don't drive, therefore I must either walk everywhere I go or else use public transportation, which also involves a lot of walking, and these shoes haven't let me down yet. As soon as you put them on they feel exactly like that comfy pair of slippers that you love to wear or like your most comfortable pair of shoes would, the ones that you've worn for years and years. It is true that they are not full leather uppers, but I myself would much rather have comfort than looks so it's not a big deal. The shoes are sturdy enough to tackle walking down these NY streets, yet comfortable enough to keep them on from morning until night. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone who does more walking than usual and to everyone who is looking for a basic everyday shoe. You won't regret it!

Very comfortable!
I bought this shoe because of bunions. It is the most comfortable I've ever owned! The front is spongy and allows my foot to spread out when I walk. Great shoe. The spongy stuff is kinda shiny, but with slacks or jeans it looks fine. Who cares?! I can wear them all day in comfort! Strongly recommended!

I don’t like the foamy front material on top of the shoe, but they are very comfortable. I would have liked leather on the whole shoe.

It is very close to true size. Without socks or with nylons it is long enough, but I will try the half size up since socks make it a bit short. The sole is great and the toe is flexible, so if you have bunions, this would be a great shoe for you.

 |  | Thanks so much for the expedited shipping. I meant to have the shoes shipped faster when I placed the order because I want to wear them this weekend, but I forgot. I didn't really worry about it though because Zappos always sends things incredibly fast - I've received packages the day after I placed an order! Zappos is great. The free shipping and fast return make shopping for shoes online foolproof. I know I order more because I know that if I don't like the shoes or they don't fit, I can return them easily and the payment is always credited to my account promptly. Thanks for the great service.
