Perfect boots -
I have these in brown. The color is true to the image, the leather is very high quality and they feel great. They fit the calf very well - not too tight, not too loose. Great with skinny jeans or a skirt. These are really cool-looking, ultra-comfortable, year-round boots. Can't ask for more - Frye's are always amazing.

Absolutely love this boot. Felt true to size and the leather is "butter". Wore them dancing all night the first night. The heel is a little slick, so be careful.

Love these boots -
These boots are fantastic. They are admittedly a little pricy, but so far it’s worth it for the comfort. They are pretty loose in the calf, but I like that style.

Frye Lisa 8L Pleat - Disappointed -
I ordered these boots based on the reviews that said they were comfortable. They weren't to me. They are cute boots. I wore them inside and they really do scuff easily. I'm afraid the soles won't hold up. I really wish I had returned them. They definitely show they have been worn on the bottoms making me wonder if they will hold up. The leather is nice and soft.

Frye boots -
I love these boots and they are very comfortable but on some surfaces they are slippery. They need something on the bottom to make the traction better.

Great boot, great company -
These boots are the perfect blend of fashion and practicality. I own a pair of the Frye Harness boots and ordered a 1/2 size down because of product reviews, but it has taken forever to break those in. These I ordered my true size and they fit like a glove. It is difficult to buy any other brand once you've discovered the quality of Frye. Their boots are built to last.

Stylish and comfortable, but order large -
The leather is very soft, and the style is appealing. I had to order this boot in a full size larger than my usual shoe. The instep is very tight (no zipper to aid access) making it difficult to transition one's foot from the shaft into the foot of the boot. Once on, the boots are comfortable. I wore them for seven hours the first day with no discomfort.

Wonderful and worth the money -
I have never spent money on shoes except for perhaps an 80$ pair of running shoes in the past. I have never felt the need. However, these boots are amazing. They are incredibly high quality, very well made, the fit is impeccable, and they are beautiful. As for the slipping problem that others had, I didn't recognize that as an issue. In fact, there is a slip guard built into the sole of the shoe. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Not pleased -
I was very disappointed with the quality of this boot. I've wanted to buy a Frye boot for a long time, and this one was really disappointing. From the reviews, it seemed it would be great for daily wear, but the sole is so slippery I thought I was going to fall just walking around my house- and in just a short time of walking on wood floor, they scuffed quite a bit on the sole. They sure are beauties but for the price, the quality just isn't there. It’s too bad because they're so cute.

Amazing boot! Comfortable and stylish -
I am not someone who posts reviews (this is my first), but I had to share... these boots are AMAZING and so comfortable. I have wide feet and a high instep, and have tried on boot after boot. These are the best, they are so comfortable from the start, no breaking in is needed. And even with my wide feet, they feel really good (and make my feet look cute!). The heel is just the right height and they look great with skinny jeans. The only thing, if you have skinny calves they look funny with a skirt, but still looks great with jeans/pants. I usually wear a size 8 or 8 1/2, and the 8 1/2 fit me perfect. Buy these boots, you won't be sorry, they are worth the money.

The last boot you'll ever buy -
This is the most comfortable boot I have ever owned. I actually forget I'm wearing it until someone compliments me on it. I've worn these bad boys shopping in NYC all day. There's a true test of comfort and these boots passed with flying colors. I have absolutely no arch, so I appreciated the arch support. They're a little western, a little designer, and completely original. Wear 'em with a skirt and tights or tuck in your dress pants or jeans. They go with everything. Can't say enough good things. Get 'em for someone you love, like yourself. (The only thing I'd say is definitely get a half size larger than your actual shoe size. Though I think that's true of all boots because then you can wear good socks with them in the winter and since I have wide-ish feet, my feet don't feel squeezed.)

Frye's Lisa 8L Pleat boot -
Boot comes up mid-calf; not a problem if you have large calves. There are no zippers on these boots and if you have a high instep, these may not be able to get on. The boot has a tapered toe which made the boot a ½ size smaller. I got the grey and it's a gorgeous boot! The pleating on the sides is very unique. The boot looks stylish peeking out from under a pant leg. Very comfortable, but go up ½ a size, wide feet probably couldn't wear this boot.

Frye – a great boot!!!
The leather on the inside and out is really soft on these boots. They are very comfortable. The only downside is that I have a high instep that makes them difficult for me to get on and even harder to get off since they don't have a zipper. Despite that, I love them!

Good looking boot and incredibly comfortable. I have a whole host of foot problems and my foot doctor would be very upset if he saw me in these, but the truth is they feel really good. My only complaint is that there is zero traction in these and, considering I've already slipped in them indoors, they will be treacherous when there's ice on the ground. That can be easily addressed though.

Love this boot -
Great service...ordered the boots on a Saturday, received them on Monday. It is tight around the ankle when you are pulling it on, but after you get your foot inside, it fits great.

Usual Frye cool boot with a fashionista twist -
Beautiful boot - with unexpected updated touches of pleats. Perfect height heel and usual Frye comfort. This looks great with skirts and jeans. I got it in grey which is gorgeous. I have only worn the Frye Campus style boots in the past, but they've done this higher style one just as well. Way to go, Frye!

I love these boots! They are very hip and very comfortable - I can walk in the city all day in these with no discomfort at all. They are just the heel height I was looking for, the leather is very soft yet seems durable. Love them!
