LOVE THESE BOOTS!!! They look fantastic (Had them on today and got several compliments as a matter of fact), and feel great. The one complaint I have with them is that after wearing them for a while they start to slouch and the elastic began to rub in one spot for me. It wouldn\'t keep me from ordering another pair tho. Would gladly try more Rockports based on these.

Hard to remove. Really.
It's a shame that this boot, or any boot, is made without a zipper. It is near impossible to get the boot off without pulling some body part or breaking off the heel. I thought I could deal, but I couldn't. Access issues aside, the footbed is actually very comfy and the style is handsome. I'd argue that they are more a 15" shaft; they were tall behind the knee. The narrow circumference squished my knee area, and gave me a chubby knee look [who likes that?]. If you want to try these, do order half a size larger. I'm a 6.5 and I would have kept the 7 if I could get them off safely. Yet another boot tragedy.

Best Boot for style/comfort -
I saw this boot in a store, but the size wasn't exactly right...so I looked at Zappos for a half size larger than was available in the store and there it was! I'm thrilled with the fit and how it looks with pants/skirts.

Ok but not perfect.
I liked these because they were one of the most comfortable boots I have tried on. However, I did not pay attention to the fact that these have no zipper entry! You have to slide (jam?) your foot into them. That's one reason I'm returning them. I do think they look better than some other boots but I'm not a fan of the elastic look on the side. BUT! I probably would have kept these if they had a zipper on the side or something. I ended up keeping Clark's December boot.

I am so thrilled with these boots! If you are in between sizes like I am, order the larger size (thanks for the recommendation from other reviewers). The heel is a moderate height – thick/wide enough that you can walk in the boots without any problem. There is a slight platform (maybe 1/4 inch) on the toe of the boot, which also adds to the overall comfort level. The elastic panels were unblemished, and easily adjusted to my curvy calves. Admittedly, slipping into the boot is a lot easier than slipping out; but definitely not a deal breaker for those who are debating about purchasing because of the pull-on style. My one complaint is because I am petite, the height of the boot's shaft reached just above my knee. Otherwise, a fabulous buy for a great everyday (but subtly stylish) boot.

Simply Perfect!
Beautiful and extremely comfortable. Comes off easily with an inexpensive boot jack. I am a walker and I could walk all day, anywhere, in these. I have a narrow foot and high arch. These fit perfectly.

Problems with elastic panels -
Love, love, love this boot - fits great, very comfortable. I have a hard time finding boots that fit and these were perfect - EXCEPT the elastic on the sides started to run the first time I pulled them on. Zappos of course was great and exchanged them for me. The second pair arrived - brand new - and the elastic is already pulled on that pair. Very disappointed and wonder if anyone who has been wearing them for awhile has had the same issue.

These boots are sleek, and if the elastic insets are a bit wide, the tight fit really looks good with short skirts. Plus they fit my athletic calves perfectly! I am willing to forego comfort for the look, but with these boots I have both -- another plus!

Great for short winter skirts -
Love this boot. It did need to be broken in and I could use more arch support, but I have high arches. It also is a bit hard to pull off as there is no side zipper. Looks great on, though so is worth it. Molds to your foot as you walk.

Impossible to get on and off -
This is a pull-on boot, something I hadn't noticed while ordering. This boot looked nice once you got it on, but the getting on and off was really difficult. The calf was narrow enough to actually fit my skinny legs, too bad I had to return it.

Fabulous -
These boots are the most comfortable higher heels I've found. The quality and fit are excellent. The look is fashionable, but one that I feel confident will still be in style years from now. I would buy the same pair again in any color.

Comfy and stylish boot -
I ordered this boot as I found others didn't fit well. The elastic sides allow the boot to slip on easily enough and keeps it from feeling too loose or too tight in spots. This boot fits better than the wide-calf style boots I had tried and I like its look a whole lot more.

I Love Them!!
I had never work Rockports before- they are fantastic. (I liked them so much I went back and bought a pair of ankle boots!) It is a bit tricky to get them off because they have no zipper, but it's worth it-they are elegant and very comfortable. I did need 1/2 size bigger in these (but not in the others).

So COomfortable!
These shoes are fantastic! Non-skid bottom. Very comfortable. Love them! The only drawback is that they're not zip-ups. Kind of a pain to take them off but they're still great.

Great boots -
These are very nice boots for the price. They are a bit narrow in the toe-box, but otherwise very comfy. The band above the heel is very flattering, but the ankle looks a bit wide from the side view. My least favorite part is the elastic bands on the sides. They make for a nice fit, but they don't drape well over the leg, and could be of nicer looking quality.

I read others advice and ordered a 1/2 size bigger and they are absolutely perfect. Comfortable and I love how they look.
