Tight on the instep.
I have a high instep and the shoes are tight across the top. I know they will stretch but there is a definite break in period for me. They bruise the top of my foot after wearing them one long day.

A little short in the length but the width felt fine. I will keep it though because 11.5 aren’t available. But it is a very nice looking shoe and pretty comfy.

I finally found the perfect pair of navy shoes. They go with everything. I have bought many pairs of shoes from Zappos and have been very pleased with the help. I have these shoes in black as well.

Okay, I said I would report back with how the half size smaller worked out: I'm keeping it and sending the others back. HOWEVER, it occurred to me that I am probably ordering my normal size now that I lost all that weight, so I would say order your regular size, unless you're between sizes, then order down. You might need to put one of those peel-off suede inserts inside to keep your foot from slipping forward, but I didn't.

I love Zappos - I have ordered several pairs of shoes from Zappos and have been thrilled with almost all of my purchases. I wear a size 12, a size you just can't walk into a store and try on. My most recent purchase of Trotters is perfect, a classic look, fit is exact and the comfort of this shoe is unlike any other shoe I've had. No breaking in, no uncomfortable spots, they are like an old friend. Thank you Zappos, do not go anywhere, thank you too for how quickly you sent my order, 1.5 days! How great is that? I will always buy my shoes from you and not even look anywhere else, believe me, I tried and was so upset, at the usual, “Not in stock,” overcharging both ways for shipping, and waiting forever only to be unhappy with the item.

This is a nice looking shoe – sleek design would be good with slacks. Just not as comfortable as I had expected. The extension of the toe box on top of the foot extends too far back and presses directly on the bone beneath. This could ease with wear but I'm not willing to take the chance that it won't. A little loose in the heel when compared to the toe.

Best shoe for problem feet -
It’s like slipping your feet into a glove. This is the only shoe I can wear with comfort because the weave gives w/bunions and other problems. I have this in every color and receive compliments. Can’t do without these shoes.

I tried these on after a long day on my feet - they were snug, but the leather will stretch.

I've been wearing a navy colored pair of these for 10+ years. I ordered a black pair from Zappos and found the shoe has changed very little in styling. I was able to put them on and GO! It's a great shoe and Zappos is a great place to shop.

Love it!
As soon as I put this shoe on it was so comfortable and that rarely happens to me. I wear a 10N and they usually don’t fit somewhere. But these were perfect. They are also very nice looking shoes.

I have worn the shoes several times and they are slightly tight across the instep although that may improve with wearing. They are true to size in width and length and I may order another pair in a different color. I recommend this shoe.

I have worn this shoe for years. I had surgery on my feet over 20 years ago, so I can only wear a certain style of shoe. Sole peeled away from the tip -
A poor overall rating due to quality. The sole peeled away from the tip after the first wearing. I bought these to replace a similar shoe (only difference was a different sole). Those lasted for years. The commentary for this shoe would match the other pair, but not this shoe. I really wanted these to work. It's an otherwise comfortable shoe well suited for my line of work.

Cute Shoes -
I bought these because I needed a little dressier flat. They are adorable. The leather was a little stiff at first, but have started to loosen up. They do, however, rub at the heel a bit. Hoping that will loosen up too or maybe a heel insert to cushion it. Overall, I think this is a really nice shoe.

Trotters - always reliable -
Since breaking my right foot eight years ago, I've had to wear WW shoes. I can always count on Trotters to be true to size and width. I own this shoe in three colors; black, tan, and navy. I buy a pair in those three colors every year. Great fit, comfort, and timeless style.

I love this shoe -
This is the most comfortable shoe for bunions because of the give in the weave of the leather and it does not look distorted as it expands. I could wear it right away - and it is what spares me from bunion repair (surgery).

I had 2 days until the dance and was in a bind. I actually found a phone number to call and the CSR was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I thought I would have to pay to get another pair sent out, but they transferred my credit and sent another pair via next day delivery. It was delivered as promised and fit perfect.
