Great boot -
Goes with everything and is really comfortable. The cushion on the inside left heel seems to be a little off-center so felt a little strange the first couple of times I wore them, but totally fine now. I have a very wide foot and it fits fine width-wise, though I do recommend going up half a size. I am a true 8 but ended up with an 8.5 in this boot. Also, the shaft is quite long and touches my knee (I'm short 5'2").

Too narrow -
I usually wear size 7, sometimes 6.5. My fit is medium width, but I have small bunions, so I ordered these in 7 medium and wide. Both were too narrow! Also, there were too wide in the calf area, but I usually have this problem. The lining is fabric, the insole looks man-made.

A classy pair of boots that are a snug fit for a narrow foot. Good quality, but very close fit at the ankle - if you have a small ankle, this may be good, but probably would not feel good for a wider foot or heavier ankle. I have already worn them once and for all day with lots of compliments. A good boot at a moderate price; I like them.

Love them. They are a bit snug at first, but loosened up a bit. Very comfortable for moderate heel boots. They look great with dressier pants, jeans, and skirts. I wore them for 8 hours, no problem.

Not true to size. I am a true 7.5 and these felt like a 6.5 or 7 boot not a 7.5M.

Very Comfy and Cute!
Despite the high wedge these did NOT hurt at all and didn't even feel like I was wearing a heel. I bought a half size larger than what I usually wear, and they fit perfect. A little too big around the calf, but that is my only complaint. Great color, comfy, and sexy!

Fitzwell Nahoko II - black tumbled calf -
Aesthetically speaking, these boots are wonderful - very chic. The heel is also not too high, so they'd be great for wearing on a regular basis. However, the toe is SO narrow! It put a vice grip on my toes! My feet are a normal width, and I've never had this problem before. Unfortunately, I'll have to return them and keep searching for the perfect wedge heel boots.

Fitz Unwell.
Yow! For a wide, these feel very narrow in the mid-to-toe area, where I need the most room. The pitch of the heel shoves your foot forward into the pinchiest part. The gel heel inserts did not feel squishy or nice at all; rather the hard, hard sole and heel could be plainly felt throughout. No cushioning whatsoever in the toe area. Nice, snug fit through calves, but very weird fit in the foot. Too bad - they look quite nice with their curviness. Back they go!
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Planks strapped to your feet? Probably cozy cushiony slippers like Woolrich for when you get home after a day of these.

I normally wear a 6.5W, and based upon the reviews, that's what I ordered. Unfortunately, as much as I loved them, I had to return them, as they were at least a size too long. I really thought they might have been mis-marked, as I've never had a shoe run this big on my short, fat foot!

Great for wide feet!
I love the fit and look of these boots. I have wide feet, and I often have trouble finding elegant shoes that fit. These are really comfortable around the widest part of my foot and the toes. There was also no "breaking in" period. I would not say, however, that they are the most well-padded shoes I've ever worn. After a day of stomping around on NYC concrete, my feet do get tired. But, overall, I love them, and I've gotten lots of compliments! Oh, and definitely order a half size up if you want them to fit.

Great heel height and a sexy boot when on, but the wedge is narrow under the heel and along with the gel pads (though comfortable), and it makes you feel a little unstable. For someone with larger feet and larger calves, it actually made everything look smaller! Wow! A great basic, could be dressed up or down, but for me it is not the perfect suede wedge boot I'm hoping to find. Too bad since it has all the right stuff but don't know if I could stand on them 8 hours straight, which is what I need them for.

A very comfortable boot. I wish it was a little slimmer in the calf because I can only wear them with jeans or pants to fill in the extra area. Good look though...I was even asked if they were Prada!

Love them...Size 12 for somewhat larger calves -
I LOVED these, and was surprised they fit my calves, but they did. I am actually more a size 11 ½ (cursed after my pregnancy), but where in the world can you find that size? I got these, tried them on and LOVE THEM. Only thing is, I won’t dare to wear them in the rain. Gel heel is interesting, very squishy, wish it was on the ball of the foot instead.

Looks can be deceiving -
This is a truly beautiful boot. The heel is not too high and the fit was good. However, by mid-morning my ankles were hurting. The boots seem very stiff around the ankle and I have very small ankles.

Walking the streets of Paris ‘07 -
These boots held up nicely in Paris. My feet felt great for walking all day and into the night. They looked great with jeans and with a black wool mini skirt with cool tights!

No gel heels please -
Loved the look of this boot but that gel heel was incredibly uncomfortable. It felt like a wad pressing into my heel. Insoles didn't help...that gel heel was persistent!

I love these boots!
I was scared to order shoes online, but when I received them I couldn’t be happier. The boots fit great and look amazing. I am pregnant and can’t wear a high heel, being that I’m on my feet all day. These boots are comfy ‘cause they have the cushion inside, and they look fabulous!

Love at first try -
After reading reviews for Nahoko and Nahoko II, I decided to order both. I am 5'7, 140lbs, and have athletic calves (read: won't fit in skinny boots). When I tried both pairs on, the only difference I could discern was that the Nahoko II had a nicer "look" to the suede...a deeper black, that matched the covered wedge much better than the Nahoko. Additionally, the toe in the Nahoko II is slightly more refined than the toe in Nahoko. The fit was about the same, but like the other reviewers, I would order 1/2 size larger than you normally wear. Overall though, these are fantastic, very comfortable, very hot boots. I walk a TON for my job, running errands, etc...these are definitely comfortable enough to be active in, unlike most boots I have. Overall, a great boot, and worth the more than the Nahoko.

Better than I expected.....
I was in search for a plain black dressy wedge boot, and given all of the options on Zappos I was tempted to buy like three pairs to compare. Since there were no reviews for this boot just the original, I was leery because of all of the "large calf" talk. I have pretty small calves and was nervous they were going to look sloppy. I was really excited when I received my order not even 24 hrs after it was placed and they fit perfectly. The calf could be a tiny bit tighter, but it’s probably only something I would notice. Overall style, service and comfort were great!

Great boots!
The toe was a little narrow on these, which is alright for me because I have narrow feet, but I can see it being a problem for some other people. (My mom can't wear them at all because they are too narrow) the top was also a little large, but with some tights or socks it's better. Overall they are awesome though, and very comfortable!

I’m really sad to return these. The look is super sexy but the calf and ankle were baggy on my average 7.5 foot and calf. Due to several reviews of "too narrow" I got the wide in my regular size (Steve Madden fits awesome on my foot) and the fit at the foot was great. The gel in-sole is a bit weird at the heel but I think I could've gotten accustomed to it. Beautiful boot, very soft suede but not the look I hoped to achieve.
