Very Cool Boot!
These are just very cool boots! I found them to be very versatile as well. I've worn them with dresses as well as jeans. I have normal size legs and found that I could tuck a skinny jean in with no problem. The top buckles can be adjusted and made smaller or larger. They do need an insole AND...YES...THE ZIPPERS ARE DIFFICULT - which was my only disappointment. I find that I'm very careful when zippering them.

Last season, these boots were available in a wide width, and I wore them every day, now the zipper is broken. I was hoping to replace them. I guess that's not possible! Anyway, these boots are stylish, and comfortable comfortable enough to wear every day. Avoid wearing them in the rain, though, as the water will destroy them over time. Also, be careful with the zippers. There isn't any insole-style arch support, but I found that the footbed aligned with the contour of my foot, so that worked out pretty well.

The leather in these boots are quite hard at first, so it might be difficult to put on the first few times of wear. As soon as I got them broken in though, they were very comfortable! I do agree with the previous reviewer, the buckles tend to snag on everything. Our couch has a few new nubs because of these boots. Love them though

Stylish boot with few issues -
Great boot! I have gotten lots of compliments! Not a whole lot of support, but a gel insert easily remedied that. One thing you have to be careful with...It is difficult to cross your legs with the buckles on the side. They can snag your tights! I do recommend these boots though. They are very stylish!

Rockport's Chutney -
I love these boots!!! They fit very true to size. The buckles on the calf allow you to adjust for calf size, which is very nice. Great soft leather that molds to your foot. Can't go wrong with this boot.

Classy boot for the price -
I bought the brown color because the lace up knee high Frye boots I wanted were sold out. These look very similar except they aren't super high-end looking. So I tweaked them out by customizing a few details: I rubbed a copper scouring pad on the whole boot to give an antiqued effect and punched an extra hole for the top buckle because they were too big around my legs. They look great and fit perfect now. Very stylish with dresses and a lot cheaper than Frye. What I like most about them is they don't look like a comfort boot at all.

Nothing to say but good.
I'm not much of a shoe shopper and I was hesitant to put down this kind of money on footwear, but these boots are enough to satisfy even the cautious.
I love the style: innocuous enough to not look like a costume piece, but with enough of a Victorian twist to stand out from other boots of the kind. Every time I wear them, I get tons of compliments. The color is beautiful and the leather is obviously of a good quality.
I love the fit: they were instantly comfortable and didn't require any breaking-in time. The lining on the inside is very leg-friendly. I followed the recommendation above (which I saw on other websites as well) and bought a half-size up and found that I had an excellent fit with space for thicker socks if needed. I have fairly small calves, but there was plenty of space in the upper part of the boot. People with larger calves will be a-okay, and as for people with smaller calves like me, the boot retains its shape well and the riding style keeps the extra space from looking unattractive.
Over all, these boots are a marvelous combination of style and wearability. Thanks to their classy hints of outdoorsy foxhunt days, they do equally well with jeans and skirts and wear equally stylishly brand new or a little bit worn in - unlike other boots, they look more themselves and not less with a little bit of love. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a touch of class that isn't too restrictive!

Great boot -
I love the way these look - the leather is nice and soft. They are a little stiff around the foot and ankle and there isn't a lot of arch support, but I think they will be more comfortable after I've worn them for a while.

Great Overall Boot -
Love these boots!! I was looking for a riding/biker boot and this was perfect. Fits great, true to size (7.5)and quality construction. The first day I wore them I was on my feet for 10 hours with no problems. I get compliments from both men and women.

Shoes are comfortable, a little tight at first, but once they are worn for a few days they are great. They make me feel like I can kick butt!

Great boot -
This boot is really nice looking -- I though it was a good price for the way it looks. I definitely have issues with large calves, but it fit very nicely.

Cute but not quite right -
These boots are very cute but they felt like I was wearing two different sizes. My right foot does tend to be a little longer and narrower but I have been wearing an 8.5M without any problems for either foot. That is the size I ordered for these boots. When they arrived, I wore a thicker sock to try them on because that's what I'll need since I live in a colder area. The right boot felt great, both length and width. The left boot was cramped everywhere: in the length, in the width, even the back rubbed uncomfortably. While my right foot is a little narrower, I have never experienced such a discrepancy before. Maybe it was just the pair I received. The arch support was also weird on my feet; it hit mainly on the outer sides of my feet. The boots are cute, but they are being sent back.
