Black Beauty -
I'd been looking for tall black dress boots all season, finally saw these and had to have them! The price did make me hesitate; I've never spent this much money on a pair of shoes, but I'm very satisfied and glad that I did. The only slight fault for me is the arch support - could be a little better, but still a comfortable shoe all day long. I'll wear these beauties for years to come...well worth it!

Great-looking, super comfortable, versatile boot -
The kind of boot you can wear all day. Nice heel, works with dresses as well as pants. Super comfortable, walked from one end of the city to the other without ever getting a blister or even a rub spot (and I'm prone to). Runs big, toe a little squarer than I would have liked.

Great Boots!
I have been looking for a pair of fabulous black boots for the last two years. I know that it sounds strange, but with my narrow foot, I have few options. I pondered spending that much money this late in the season, but after getting the boots, decided they are well worth the expense. They fit very true to size, and there was little/no time spent "breaking them in". They look great with skirts and jeans. Love, love, love the boots! I will definitely look at purchasing another pair!

Best All-Around Boot On The Planet!
This is the second pair of this style I have purchased; I love these boots so much. The size of the heel is perfect for pants, short skirts, whatever! And the boots are so comfortable I wear them for sightseeing! They are a little expensive, but I wear them every day from late fall thru spring.

Greatest boot ever for someone like me!
This is the second pair of these boots I have purchased. I loved the first pair so much; I bought another pair in another color this year. I cannot easily afford such a price, but they are worth every penny. I work on a college campus and do a lot of walking, so the heel height is perfect, and I have walked all over Chicago in them with no pain to speak of. The one warning I might issue is that they are a bit snug in the calves at first. My calves, I suppose, are "normal" in size, but I do a lot of running and cycling so... At any rate, they stretched a bit and I must say, I LOVE THESE BOOTS!

Awesome Boot!!
I love this boot. I've searched this entire winter for the perfect boot for me and this is it. I bought the black stretch nappa and it looks great. If I had the money I would buy the brown as well. The heel height is so comfy and stylish. The boot looks perfect with jeans and skirts. The calf is smaller then most boots out there and it is still a little loose on my legs but it fits the best out of the many many boots I tried. I will enjoy these boots for a long time!

I love this boot. It's very comfortable, has the perfect height heel to get you through the day and the stretch leather makes it dressy because it has a little shine.

Unbelievable boots!
These boots are simply BEAUTIFUL, narrow at the ankle and calf (I have 14.5 calves and they were tight, but the stretch of the material helped). They are also very comfortable. I slipped them on and wore them for several hours -- no problem! I want to buy more of Pliner shoes!

Beautiful, Buttery Boots: A Work of Art -
These boots exceeded my expectations. The leather is extraordinarily beautiful and smooth as butter. The 1 3/4 heel height is perfect for wearing all day long for those of us whose bodies can't take a higher heel. Despite a medium heel height, the squarish toe and architecturally curved heel make the boots look super chic. It's a boot you'll want to show off with a sassy skirt.

Beautiful boot with a contemporary, classic look. Could have more arch support, but quite pleased with the overall comfort. Excellent heel height gives pleasant all-day wear. Typical excellent Pliner quality!

These are my second pair. The previous pair was finally thrown into the garbage. Literally. As a boot/shoe lover, and after, ah, who knows know many pairs, these lovely boots always emerge on the surface as winners. They are a classic Donald Pliner: subtly sexy, yet elegant (mat finish of black elastic gives an illusion of extra, extra long legs), perfect heel height to allow for all day "street hiking" (San Francisco hills are no joke, trust me), comfortable beyond description...Do I need to continue :-)?

This is a comfortable and good looking boot. It feels great on and I love the elegant heel. The ankle and calf were too roomy. It seems at least an inch bigger, maybe more, than the 14"circumference stated.
So pretty, wish it worked.

I have a very narrow calf and these shoes fit well on my calves. The shoes are very comfortable.

 |  | You are very welcome for the kind words... I have told my friends and family and will continue to do so. It is strange but we were recently talking about how sad it is that customer service in most retail stores has gotten so poor. It just seems most places don't care if you are satisfied or not. I once again not tell you how much I appreciate you folks taking such good care of me. Also I will let them know how easy and inexpensive it is to return products that don't work out. That was one of my concerns; what if I don't like it in person or a particular brand needs a slightly different size. You folks make it is to try things and return rather than being concerned if you don't like it your stuck with it. How wonderful. No more hassles of the mall for me. Oh yea and on top of the service the shoes are beautiful and can hardly wait to wear them to my son's wedding. I will let you know how many compliments I get while wearing them... Thank you again and please pay my information onto others so they will realize how wonderful it is to work with Zappos.
