I agree with other readers that this shoe runs too large. It's very comfortable thought if you are not conscious about length of your feet (I wear size 11). I ordered in “silk elastic” and it looked much shinier than I expected. I am waiting for a pair half size smaller in suede to become available to exchange.

Donald Pliner Boots -
I have worn these boots for several years and they are a favorite of mine. I was so glad to be able to locate them with you for the purchase of a new pair. Please keep carrying them because I have some foot problems and cannot wear many shoes. These look good and feel good.

Love these boots -
At first, I wasn't sure I was going to like these boots, but the more I wore them, the more I loved them and thought about getting another one in a different color. They are well worth the money! One more thing, you might wonder if they are too big, but they are meant to fit where the toe box is longer than necessary. I got my true size.

Best boots ever!
I have never spent this much money on a pair of shoes...but I don't regret it. These boots are beautiful AND totally comfortable. As other reviews have said, they are just a bit long for the size, but they're still fine. The shaft is on the narrow side, but I really like that - every other boot that I have tried has been too wide, and these were perfect. This purchase has convinced me to go ahead and splurge on shoes - better to spend more on a pair that really fits (no blisters!) and that looks great, instead of buying a bunch of shoes that aren't quite right.

Beautiful boot but too tight. I returned it, and possible should have tried a 1/2 size larger.

Great boot but sizing was difficult -
This shoe is exactly what I was looking for. It's comfortable and versatile; the perfect jean/pant boot. However, I had a problem with the sizing. I had to buy it 3 times before getting the right size. I thought it ran long and narrow. I'm normally a size 9. The 9 was way too long. The 8 1/2, which I ended up keeping, is a little long, but with socks it's ok. Maybe it'll also be perfect in the summer when my feet swell! The 8 was perfect for length, but a little tight across the arch on the width, and I have a somewhat narrow foot, although I usually wear a medium width rather than narrow. It so happens I bought another Pliner boot around the same time and had this same issue. I bought the 8 in that one. I loved this boot enough that I went through all that to get the right/best fit. Overall, great boot, but in my experience, hard to fit. Thank God for Zappos and free and easy returns.

Probably the most comfortable boot I've ever owned! I took a big risk and brought these with me on a business trip without wearing them first and I'm so glad I did. I wore them for 12 hours right out the box without any problems at all. Very stylish, comfortable, and ample heel height without looking too much like a flat. I found them to be true to size although I see some of the other reviews didn't agree. I absolutely love this boot and will be buying them in a different color. Thank you Zappos for such fast shipping and excellent customer service!

These are flat out the most comfortable boot!
Recently I have been vacillating between the full and half sizes, I found these to run generous, so the full size fit is great! Other reviewers indicated that the boot ran 1/2 to full size large and I agree. Due to the generous toe box, if you are between sizes, you can probably size down. Zappos’ service just makes you laugh in a happy way that it is so consistently great - that just doesn't happen much outside the world of Zappos!

Donald's boots -
Very stylish, but I am disappointed that the inside of the boot is not finished in the quality that Donald is normally known for. There is exposed stitching in the back of the heel and that is blister material.

These boots are fabulous!
They are great looking and are a great height with a square toe and are so comfortable you can wear them all day.

Great boot -
This boot is very nice looking. The leather is fabulously smooth and soft. It’s comfortable though I have a narrow foot and the narrow size still lets my heel move around too much.

The leather is beautiful, but the boot runs a little big. Also, the circumference on the top of the boot is way too small. A person who wears a size 10 shoe would have a larger leg than what this boot was made for. I would have ordered a smaller size if I knew it would fit at the top. Too bad, they are lovely boots.

A Great Pair of Boots!!
These boots are pricey but worth every penny. They are stylish and can be worn to dress up or dress down with jeans. They also feel great on. I wear a size 7 and the fit was perfect. Thanks Zappos for your speedy delivery and a great pair of boots.

I've had numerous surgeries in the last 5 years, buying shoes has always been a nightmare made worse by this. Since I found Zappos.com I'm always able to find what I need, whether for work, dress casual, sandals, comfort, you name it. I could not do this if it weren't for you. Before you came along I bought possibly one pair of shoes per year, and never online or through a catalog because of the shipping charges.
