I wore Earth shoes in the 70s and they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. Glad they are back. Quality leather and construction. Can be worn with business casual.

I had a pair of Earth Ash in brown, and I enjoyed them so much I wanted a pair in black. And the black are just as comfortable and classy as the brown. I only wish I could find another pair of the brown Earth Ash, but have been told that they're passe now, really sorry about that! I only wear Earth Shoes because they are the best shoe going in my eyes, keep up the good work Zappos! Ron Rush

I want to love these shoes!
I'm an ER nurse who works 12 hour shifts. I need a shoe that supports my feet my legs and my back. Having never tried Earth shoes, I took a chance and plunked down money for these. Lemme start with the good: The negative heel technology is easy to get used to and is very supportive of my legs and back (I was contemplating having to start wearing support socks/hose for vericose veins [what can I say, I'm a 35 year old dude with my mother's legs!], but these shoes seem a huge remedy for that issue]). I feel like I have better posture when I wear these as well, but that could just be a placebo. Now the bad: my heels hurt! I mean burning kind of hurt! The tradeoff of a low set heel is that the sole is its thinnest at the heels. I chose this shoe in part because the sole seems more low profile than some of the others - many of which remind me of shoes I would have teased someone for as a child; I think the trade off for the lower profile is less support in the heels though. So I'm thinkin if you're going for Earth shoes, it may be best to throw style out the window completely (you already have to open that window pretty wide just to consider these, might as well go for broke)! I haven't given up on Earth shoes. I will follow my own advice on my next pair. Meanwhile, I'm trying every sort of insert until I find one that works. So far, it seems a plain old odor eater gives a good deal of support without diminishing the negative heel incline too much.

Well made shoe. It doesn't wear down, even under a lot of strenuous walking. Fits comfortably, true to size. Leather seems to not show minor scratches. Nothing to complain about here.

Different feel, but very comfortable.
This is the first pair of earth shoes I have had. It took a couple days to get used to the negative positioning of the heel, but they are great for posture and being on your feet all day.

My husband has difficulty finding shoes that are comfortable because of his bunions. These shoes were comfortable from the minute he tried them on and to his surprise at the end of the day when he removed them!

I am a flight attendant. I use these shoes to work at least three times a week. My feet do not feel tired at the end of the day like they usually do with other shoes, and they help preserve my posture thanks to the lower heel.

Pretty cool -
I got these on a whim - intrigued by the whole Kalso technology. These are extremely comfortable shoes whether the technology works or not. They're a little bit frumpy-looking, though, and remind me of something my grandmother would wear. Nevertheless, I wear them all the time since they're so comfortable.

These shoes are super comfortable. They felt a little odd at first since they have the heel lower than the front of the foot, but once you are used to it - it feels great.

Made me buy more Earth shoes -
My podiatrist recommended Zappos and I could not be happier with their service. This is my first pair of Earth shoes and they influenced me to start replacing all my shoes (I also have the Cove and the Lazer K-Vegan). This pair is nice for dress or dress/casual. They are not as soft/comfortable as the Lazer K, which is my favorite, but they are much more comfortable than any other dress shoes I've tried.

Great all-day comfort for work and casual wear -
I'm wearing these shoes right now while typing up this review at work on my lunch break. These shoes are great! Easy on, and easy off only when I want. It was important to get a 1/2 size smaller so they don't slip off too easily. The shoes look and feel great and fit in with the business-casual work, and go great with jeans too.

I bought these "Earth Ash" shoes for my boyfriend for Christmas. Zappos.com made it so easy. They arrived the next day. He said that they are soo comfy. He is on his feet all day and so far they are great!

Negative Soles are Amazing -
Personally wish these were leather. And a little wider. But I'm a negative sole convert now. Not sure I can ever go back to anything else.

I had purchased this shoe at a brick and mortar store but the choices were limited. At Zappos I could easily get the models and colors I could not get locally.

The most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.
I replaced a $400 pair of 'custom' fit shoes that fit me so poorly I got a bone spur on my ankle.
I live in FL so I would like for these to breath a little more, but they slip off easily under the desk if I need to cool my feet off.
I work in a semi-forla office where some guys wear ties, these shoes pass in that sort of environment with the comfort sacrifice.
