Perfect!
Just got these in preparation for fall, and they're exactly what I was looking for. Sleek and stylish to fit my NYC life, and comfy enough for actually walking around my city! I'm short, so usually knee high boots are too tall for my legs, but these hit at the perfect place. I couldn't be happier and can't wait for the weather to cool off!

I like them... I like them a LOT!
My calves are wide - about 15 inches - and I have a small shoe size, 5 1/2. These boots went on perfectly on my left calf and, with a bit of coaxing and a day to stretch on my right calf, are fine there, too. They are incredibly comfortable and just sexy enough. Plus, important for a size 5 1/2 - the heel height looks sassy without hobbling me. The lining is a stylish chrysanthemum flower pattern on black fabric. As another reviewer noted, these boots are a bit warm, but I'll be wearing them in winter, so that's just what I need.

Great boots for wide or "trouble" feet -
When I set out to invest in some quality boots, I ran into a lot of problems with other designs. I have fairly wide feet, and also suffer healing complications from foot surgery last year. These boots are a dream! They are the most comfortable heeled boots I think I've ever had. And they look GREAT!

Clarks Rhodes boots -
These boots are attractive and have a beautiful and colorful lining. I bought them for walking around Sonoma and Napa, and found them very comfortable for the entire day and into the night. The boots are a bit big around my calves which are small to average in size.

Great Look -
Clarks Rhodes is a good looking boot. However, I will not attempt to wear them all day at work. The lining isn't as comfortable and moisture absorbing as some other brands I've worn. Around midday my legs felt "sticky". Looks great with long or short skirts or pants.

Perfect dress boot for winter -

A Great Dress Boot -
This is a wonderful dress boot. I liked it so much that I have it in brown and black. The detail across the instep is very nice. It is comfortable enough that I could wear it without socks or hose. I have never worn boots of this height before. They look really great with a wool skirt. I have never been disappointed with any shoe by Clarks. I can wear this brand boot or shoe right out of the box so to speak. I never have to break them in.

Finally - a comfy boot that fits!
These are wonderful! I've had a hard time finding boots that would fit around my calves without being baggy at the ankles, but these are great. I work in retail and am on my feet most of the day; my feet still feel good at the end of the day. These are so comfy that I often forget that the heels are higher than I normally wear.

Good looking boot -
I have a trouble finding shoes that fit, but Clarks seems to feel the best. They are a good looking boot, however, the calf diameter is a little large for my slender calves… but love the fit otherwise. It has a comfortable heel and arch support. The shipping service was amazing. I live in Wyoming and you NEVER get mail the second day, even if you pay for next day delivery. I had my boots in two days!

Comfy and cute -
I was looking for a comfortable pair of tall boots that still had a bit of a heel. These have soles that absorb the shock of walking and look cute with a skirt or jeans - I am very happy with them.

Beautiful boots, but not for wide calves -
These were beautiful boots and the quality you would expect from the Clarks’ brand. It had those nice comfortable soles that you find in Clarks' shoes and a good quality leather. Unfortunately, I could not zip them up! Although they say the shaft is 15" circumference and the circumference below my knee is somewhere around 14", the boots would not zip up past the widest portion of my calf, so I had to return them. If you have average size calves, then go for these- they are classy and comfortable!

nice boots for casual dressing. Looks nice with skirt or pants. The foot is roomy enough to wear with a heavier sock in cold weather. Great customer service. I will use Zappos again.

I wear a size 5 shoe and it is nearly impossible to find that size in any local stores. I have been wearing Clarks shoes for many years and love the comfort, quality, and fit. I am fully satisfied with my new Rhodes boots. They are very comfortable and I like the simplicity, yet the subtle design has class. I also was ordering for the first time from Zappos and was amazed that my order arrived the very next day. I still don't know how it was done!

Great comfort and style boot -
This was the first time I bought from Zappos. My friend told me about the website and the great service. He was right. I ordered my boots around 1pm in the afternoon and I received them the next day... I also ordered two others to try on. The Clarks were the first ones I tried and loved them immediately. Good, not excellent -
For those with larger, athletic calves, this could be a good choice for you. My calves at their widest point are about 15 ½” and the fit is good on the calf. I am keeping this boot, although they do taper and feel a bit tight on the toes. I would recommend sizing up a half size for more room. Although, I do wear a boot sock, which is heavier, so this may be the reason for tightness. I am hoping with wear that it will give more. Leather is soft. I do like the slight platform on the sole of the boot. It makes the heel height feel less than it is. The length of the shaft is also good; right below the knee, which is perfect. I have purchased Clarks shoes before and feel that these are a little narrower than their shoes. Overall, a good purchase. Love Zappos - keep up the great customer service!

Great Boots!
I wore these for the first time last week and thought the fit was great and they look beautiful. The leather is soft and the color is rich. But most important to me is that they are comfortable.

Nice boots -
Fits great and are very comfortable. Can wear all day. Nice fashionable boot which can be used for casual or dressy. Slightly wider than normal in calf area which is good. Hard to find boots that are not too tight around calf.

This is a nice looking boot, but in a size 11 the ankle portion is WAY too big. So much that it makes the leather fold and not look or feel good. They also felt a half size to a whole size too large. The size 11 boot fit my 17" calf perfectly. A very nice looking boot created out of nice leather.

Stiff & not for the slender leg -
Nice leather and an attractive boot, off of my foot. I have 13.5 inch calves which swim in these boots. The leather is quite stiff; not a pretty sight. I am 5'10" and have ordered another boot (Italian) with a taller shaft & smaller circumference. True to width & size with ok support, odd fabric lining though. I DO LOVE ZAPPOS!!! With a wonderful return policy & outstanding customer service.
