Too small -
The biggest problem is that from the top of my foot to the sole of my foot was extremely narrow! I have never found this problem with other shoes. I'm surprised more people didn't mention this. Also, I felt they looked a little too "little girlie" rather than a woman's shoe.

Amazing look -
Every time I wear this shoe I receive compliments. It looks great! I ordered a size 8.5 wide. While the width is perfect, I'd say they run a little long. I will need to purchase a heel insert to keep the shoes from flipping off as I walk. They are very comfortable otherwise.

I'm a Forensic Scientist and always wear Clarks mules to work and needed a shoe that would be appropriate as a dress shoe for court. This shoe is perfect for my purposes. Comfortable yet stylish.

Perfect shoe but too wide -
A perfectly constructed shoe. I felt that it was wider and about a half size too big. It is killing me to wait for the replacement shoe to arrive!

These are very cute & comfortable! As many other reviewers have said, that darn seam by the pinky toe is a bugger. I'm hoping a piece of moleskin will solve that issue. They fit well, so I hope they don't stretch too much.

Great shoe!
This is a great shoe if you have a wide foot and need the toe box room. Comfortable from day one! Certainly the widest version I've found...wish they had more styles with a fit like this.

Great WW dress shoe -
I have extra wide feet, and I find it hard to find a stylish and comfortable shoe... this one is terrific. Unfortunately I had to wear them one day for 8 hours plus on my feet, which would be a problem for almost any shoe for me and I was hoping this would be different because of the cushioned sole and arch support... but it wasn't much different – however, when I wear these for normal everyday or evening wear they're certainly comfortable.

Nice but didn't fit -
I like the little detail on the toe and the heel height is just right. However, I have a big toe joint that this shoe hits so the shoes did not fit me.

Like others, I found that the cute leather strap cut into my feet in a major way. The leather is also really stiff and seems like it would need a LOT of breaking in. I am not going to find out though because I am sending them back--my feet can't handle the pain.

Narrow foot - perfect fit -
After reading the reviews, I ordered a 1/2 size smaller and it fit like a glove. The insole is well cushioned, so my feet are still happy at the end of the day. The sole is a hard rubber which I like as it doesn't slip on hard surfaces. I'm in a suit or dress slacks and sweaters and the shoe goes very well. Lots of compliments!

Shoe was really wide at heel and felt a full size larger... I have always worn a 10 wide, but when I wore these, I kept walking out of them as the heel was wide. I stuffed the toes with tissue and got thru the ceremony, but will be giving them to my niece who wears an 11 wide.

Cute, but needs breaking in -
The heel height and stability of this shoe is great. Sturdy. I have three kids to chase around, so I wanted something cute, but didn't want to risk breaking my ankle. The toes are not as upturned as they look in the photo; they do not give you “elf toes”. They LOOK great. Unfortunately I have found that these shoes do need breaking in. The first time I wore them, they were fantastic, but the second time, I got blisters on the back of my foot right above my heel where the shoe “cups” the back of your foot. I will probably have to invest in the Dr. Scholl's pads that everyone talks about.

Your Jeans, Skirt, and Slacks - shoe dream come true -
A friend of mine was wearing these shoes and I had to have them. I am always looking for a universal shoe to wear with slacks, jeans, and skirts. These were money well spent! I ordered the Navy shoes almost immediately because it is hard to find attractive shoes in Navy. My only word of advice would be that they will stretch a tad bit and the back part of the shoe-heel is a bit hard depending on where your heel falls.

I was glad I didn't need to break in this shoe. They were comfortable at first, but after wearing them all day at work, then to an after-work event, I noticed the lack of arch support. There was ample cushioning in the heels and the balls of my feet.

Looks better than it feels -
I really like this shoe in that it looks OK with both skirts and pants. It's a nice heel height and is comfortable in the heel area, but the toe area is a pain. I have to wear a bandaid on my left big toe every time I wear them or the seam rubs a blister. Relatively comfortable in the morning, but by the end of the day, both little toes are killing me. Hopefully, they'll get "broken in" and won't hurt so badly.

Too big -
I was thrilled to find shoes to fit my very small but very wide feet! What I didn't know was that my true size is 5.5, or perhaps in this style, 5. Therefore size 6 was way too big! I liked the picture of the shoe better than the actual shoe because it looked cheaper up close.

My mother actually bought these shoes. She loved them and said they were really comfortable except the stitching started coming off around the toe. I called Zappos and they replaced the shoe in a day! Great customer service for Zappos!

Great shoes bought for a wedding. I had them on for 7 hours, the fit was great and was very comfortable. My feet did not hurt at all and they were on sale in New York City. A good price and an excellent shoe. I wear an 8 or a 7 1/2, but in this shoe, I fit in a 7 wide.

I work on a tradeshow floor and need business shoes that I can stand on a concrete floor for 8-10 hours, 3-5 days in a row. These did the trick. While they aren't necessarily the classiest looking they are a step above an orthopedic looking shoe!

This shoe looked clunky and the leather was too hard and too stiff. Very uncomfortable. Tried it on, took it off, and sent it back.

Not perfect -
I too am experiencing a problem with one of the shoes (the left) cutting into my foot at the point where the straps join the shoe. I too am waiting for it to stretch out. I think it's getting a little better. But it is not comfortable, and the first time I wore this shoe I had to put a band aid under it.

 |  | Tony, I would address you as sir, however, I just found out that not only are you younger than I, but we also wear the same uniform to work...T- shirt and jeans. So there will be no false formalities. I wanted to write and let you know how thrilled I was with my first Zappos experience. I purchased a couple pair of shoes online last Saturday evening in preparation for a trip to Ireland this Saturday. I wasn't sure if I should upgrade to the faster shipping option so I called the 24/7 helpline. I reached Kimberly, who advised me to go ahead and click "send" and she would adjust the shipping to "next day" at no extra charge. In doing this, she advised, we would still have time to make any changes should there be a problem with the shoes. I was expecting a Tuesday delivery and was amazed to have the shoes on my doorstep by 10:00 a.m. Monday morning. Wow! One pair didn't fit so well, so I called to see about returning them. I spoke with Karen, and once again was thrilled to speak with someone both friendly and knowledgeable. Incidentally, the shoes that I ordered in exchange, arrived on Wednesday. About half an hour ago I got a call from James asking if I had time to take a short survey concerning my Zappos experience. Needless to say, your company and people received top marks from me. The impression that I am left with after speaking to three different people is that your employees really care about pleasing the customer. The enthusiasm and sincerity to do right by me never felt scripted, false, or overzealous in any way, just real people actually wanting to help a real person.
