Good look, just what I was hoping for -
I was looking for a dressy boot I could wear with a suite or jeans, and this is a very comfortable look either way. The feel of the boot is really excellent, but I'm finding that I get a persistent blister on my left foot when driving stick - might just need a bit more breaking in. The finish is quite the right balance of shine and matte black (it's not too shiny). I'm very happy with these, and will be buying them again when this pair wears out.

Great Shoes -
These shoes are very comfortable and look great. Received the shoes in less than two days! I suggest ordering the wide version unless you have a real narrow foot. The leather is very soft. No problems with the pull tab catching my pants when I stand up. I plan to order the tan version ASAP.

Great in tan leather -
I got these in tan leather, size 8 Wide. Yes, W-I-D-E, and this is very important - they fit PERFECTLY! Look great in tan leather, too. Very comfortable. Fit well with warm sock. Insoles are removable. There is also thin flannel liner so they should be warm.

Great Casual Boots -
These boots are a nice midway between full on dress boots and cowboy boots. The black boot is the closest you will get to a dress look, but they scuff very, very easily. However, the scuffs and dings quickly add to its overall character. The boot is very stylish and goes well with khakis or jeans. Oh, and one other thing, the black boot is more of a gray -- the picture is a little deceiving.

Finally! A great boot -
I ordered this boot after returning a pair of Nun Bush Bristol boots which were just too shiny for a man's boot, unless of course you are Santa Claus. This boot is more expensive, but in my opinion, looks like a man's boot, is very comfortable and can be worn with jeans or slacks. It is great in the snow because it has a rubber sole and it is not slippery on ice. I wear a 13EE and although it was tight at the instep, it breaks in very quickly and is really quite comfortable. This is a cool boot and of course, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH ZAPPOS! Fast service and great to do business with.

The best I could find -
The last two purchases I made from Zappos were for my husband. Neither were exactly what he wanted, but they were the best we could find. His favorite shoe no longer comes in his size it seems. Very disappointing. The boot was to complete his Santa Suit and is OK but we would have liked more of snow boot but couldn't find it. We are happy to have Zappos and are as a rule very happy with the shoes we get from there. My husband thought both the pair of shoes and the boots fit OK.

Great Boots!
I have no regrets buying these boots. I bought them in black and brown. They were a little stiff at first, but soon softened up and the boots conformed to the shape of my feet. The more I wear them, the better they feel and fit. I wear them to work with dress pants and on the weekend with jeans. Buy them, you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful boot; but doesn't fit -
I bought this boot because I thought it would be perfect for work. I received it within less then 24 hours, as always Zappos is amazing.
The boot is beautiful; but was impossible to even close the zipper and the height seemed awkward. Needless to say, this one is going back.

The size fit me well and I need a wide shoe. The only part of the shoe that I am not partial to is the inside liner. My preference is for the liner to be leather. I found Zappos to be very responsive and lightning fast on shipping.

BEST boots ever!!
From the moment I put these boots on my feet they were heaven!! There was no break in period, and only get more comfortable and "scrunchie-licious" every day I wear them! They are worth every penny! Don't scrimp and buy a lower priced alternative, do it right and buy these FIRST! (I bought the wide ones.)

Bought these specifically to work in. Nicest most comfortable dress boots I have! I wear them for 10-12 hours straight, and they are still comfortable!

Great fit, but wish they were taller -
I purchased these for my husband who hates to shop and his old Nunn-Bush demi-boots were truly worn out. He thinks that these are a little low as his trousers catch on the tops when he sits and crosses his legs and he has to keep fussing with them. He also has to wear thinner socks than usual, but these boots are so comfortable, he has decided he doesn't care about those issues. He did cut off the little tab at the back and that has helped with the trousers catching on them.

Very Nice Dress Boot -
This is a well-made boot that looks nice with hints of a Western boot. No fancy stitching and a nice clean, modern but reserved look. I have a black and a brown pair of these and they are comfortable. I wouldn't wear them to go hiking, etc. but I'd think men would have more sense than to do that. Does well in snowy and rainy weather. The only complaint I would have is that the little tag on the back keeps catching my pants leg and so I have to occasionally pull my pants leg down over it. Hope this helps you shoppers.

With a good shine, these are a great dress shoe, and at the same time these are much more comfortable than a typical dress slip-on. The leather gets more supple as I wear them.

Fantastic dress boot that's super comfortable!
These boots were a replacement for a Kenneth Cole boot which fell apart after 2 months of wear. What a big improvement these are! These Rockports are extremely comfortable and look great with jeans as well as dress pants. I can walk all day around the city and my feet are happy! These are a much higher quality leather than the Kenneth Cole boots as well.

Very nice boots -
I'm 55 years old and have not owned zip-up boots in 30 years. I'm very happy with these. When I first tried them on, I thought "no way," they felt a half size too small with a ridge sticking into each heel. Within an hour of wearing, they began molding to my feet and I must say within a day fit perfectly!!! Very comfortable now. Good looking, good quality boots with good quality leather. Dealing with Zappos is truly awesome, I had my boots within 3 days! I will definitely buy from them again.

It will do...
For a narrow size 14 foot, there are not a lot of options... this is one. I was looking for a boot so that I could walk around in some snow on my way to the office. Not a lot of snow and not extended walking, mind you... just so my socks in my regular shoes would not get all wet. The zipper does not have a water seal, so this is not the greatest for stepping in puddles, etc. The soles are very smooth, so be careful when it is slippery.

Bargain boots -
My boots were delivered on Monday after ordering late Thursday evening, first time using Zappos, great service. As for the boots, excellent buy, very nice quality for price, very stylish, little dressier than I expected and quite stiff but fine leather. THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOES EVER.
These boots feel like sneakers with NO exaggeration. I have low riding boots similar in style to these from RL, they are bench made in England & retailed for approx $500. No comparison, I've achieved a very sophisticated look, with out compromise on comfort & at an unbeatable price. I hope Rockport continues to make this boot in different finishes.

While visiting my grandson, I ordered for him a pair of shoes. He was so excited when overnight the shoes came. We found that I had ordered the wrong size. My daughter called customer service and explained to the wonderful CSR about ordering the wrong size. She said, just use the return merchandise sticker and send them back and low and behold the next day, my grandson received the right size. Usually, we would have to wait until the store received the wrong size shoes and then wait at least 3 days to receive the right size. This company trusted us to return the wrong size shoes and sent the right size before going through all that. I would say that we received 5 star service and my grandson is wearing and enjoying his shoes to the max.
