Awesome Shoe!
I've been wanting to try MBT shoes for years, but balked at the price. With Zappos' usual phenomenal customer service, I got these in two days. They fit perfectly (I ordered 1/2 size larger according to other reviews) and I went out for a two mile walk immediately. I love them! I stand straighter, I can feel the difference in my legs, hips, and abs when I walk. I immediately ordered another pair for my husband who has trouble with his feet and knees. I'll also order sandals for summer. In addition to being really thrilled with these shoes, I want to say thank you again to Zappos. I've told so many people about this site and I continue to return again and again when I need shoes. Customer service is wonderful and you can't beat the free shipping, especially when trying on shoes. I see they are expanding into more products. That will make shopping for everything easier. Wonderful company to do business with!

Was Hoping For More -
I REALLY wanted to love these shoes because of all the great reviews. Also, I'm about to start my nursing career and am worried about coping with the strain of being on my feet 12 hours or so a day. I ordered a 1/2 size up as most folks recommended that, but still felt a bit cramped in the shoes. Honestly, my foot felt a bit claustrophobic. I dare say I may have to go to a size 10.5. I think I will try these on in the store where I can talk to someone about a good fit. These definitely are not shoes for the faint of heart and not shoes that you can force to fit. The shoes are heavy, which is something I'll need to get used to. I also think it's important not to tie them very tightly. I'm going to return this pair and think on it some more since they really are an investment of sorts.

Amazing!
My daughter, whom is very fit, bought these sneakers - loved them so much she bought me the same pair. She sang the praises of these shoes & now I know why! Unbelievably comfortable & I feel a stretch in places I've long forgotten about! They really do energize you. She bought me a 1/2 size up - glad she did. I highly recommend these shoes!

You definitely need a 1/2 size bigger in this shoe. I wore them around work (I am on my feet for about 11 hours a day) and they actually hurt! Then I realized that I needed a half size bigger. I like how they make me taller and walking in them is more like gliding. Everyone at work thought they look like orthopedic shoes or platform sketchers. For all these reasons, I did return them.

Awesome shoes!
Wow... I got these for my birthday back in March and they still feel as wonderful as when I got them. I wear them 99% of the time, even when I'm not at work. I was experiencing swelling and aching in my legs most of the time while at work until I got these Awesome Shoes. A Heaven Sent Gift That Are Unlike Any Other Shoes I've Ever Had On. Now my legs don't ache and I have a lot less swelling. I Love My MBT'S ! I would even go as far as saying they've even helped me loss about 10 lbs. and put pep in my step when I walk. I rock while I roll... forward with the step. It provides a smooth walking transition. The best shoes I've ever owned. Thanks MBT!

Read the previous reviews and was hooked to at least try them... low back ache and such made walking a distance painful. Ordered the half size up and it was a delightful surprise. It fits, it feels great, I am taller (hurrah)! I live in sneaks and have found the best.

WOW!!! OMG – Absolutely amazing shoes! I work out 5x a week and still feel my calf stretch in these shoes. In addition to all of the physical benefits, these shoes really seem to energize you! I'm buying the sandals next! I went up a half size, glad I did. I'm a 7 but ordered a 7.5 and they're perfect – be sure to go up a half size. The looks could be improved, but the comfort, benefits and energy make these great performance shoes worth it all.

Balance, balance, balance -
This shoe gives a marvelous, subtle workout to your entire frame. I jog daily on a rocky surface and staying upright in these shoes was initially quite a challenge. The happy result, however, is stronger legs and thighs and much better balance, even when not wearing the shoes. They're expensive, but the health benefits of walking/running without discomfort are priceless.

Relief for my back! I have had low back, tailbone pain for about 2 years. I bought the shoes initially to help with toning my legs and butt, but noticed it made my back feel great. I don't wear them all the time, but whenever I notice back pain that is stopping me from enjoying the day, I throw these on and feel relief practically immediately. My hamstrings were a little sore after the first two times as well and I had a lot of numbing in my feet for the first 3 times I wore them, but feel fine now. I read some reviews to go a half size up because they run small, but mine feel a little too big since I went up half a size. I think with my next pair I will get my normal shoe size. They are not the most attractive looking shoe but they do help you feel better and probably look better with time. I highly recommend the shoes!

No more lower back pain!!
It took me a few days to get used to walking on a rocker platform, but once I got used to it, this shoe has improved my posture, given me a better workout and eliminated the lower back pain that I used to experience while walking in my Nike Shox and flip flops. I find them a little heavy to walk in all day.

Awesome shoes! They run about 1/2 size small and the shoelaces are a little short but by far the best shoes I have had. I have a bad knee & bad lower back which have been helped by simply wearing these shoes!! Worth the extra money!

These have helped my back pain considerably.
Having chronic back pain, I am constantly looking for a shoe that helps. When I put these on there is a definite difference.

I love them...knees are starting with OA and they are the best. Came highly recommended also from my orthopedic doctor. I did have to order a size up, but no problem with the return/exchange with Zappos. I am ready to order another pair.

Boost is just the beginning -
Received shoes within 24 hrs of ordering. I’m on my feet most of the day and this shoe has definitely boosted my performance. Energy level is up, fatigue level is down. Now I don't dread going shopping with teenage daughter. I read other reviews and ordered a half size larger and they fit perfect.

Very Comfortable -
I purchased these shoes 9 months ago, and I have worn them pretty much daily. The first few weeks they took a little getting used to as I had never worn MBT'S before. They are very comfortable, and were well worth the money. My arthritis & back pain are better, and they make it possible for me to stay on my feet most of the day. After 9 months of wear the white mesh is now pretty dirty. A very small edge of the bottom of the shoe has peeled off due to all of my wear. I purchased MBT sandals for summer.

I was so excited about receiving my shoes. I wore them for a few hours the first day. The second day I walked 2 miles and I had the worst blister I have ever had. I have returned them for a different style hopefully this new pair will work out.

I absolutely love the shoe; concept. People ordering should be advised that size runs small. I ordered an 8 1/2, because it's a sneaker, wish I had ordered a 9.

Better than orthotics -
This is my second pair of MBTs. I have flat, painful feet and I tried MBTs last fall when my orthotics were not doing anything for me anymore. My first pair, the Shadow, was GREAT. These are very good, although the Shadow was better. I need a sneaker for spring/summer and tried all the models before deciding on this one. It has the most arch support of the sneakers, although I think it's a little less cushy/padding than the Shadow. Still, it's the best option for me this summer since I would rather not wear black shoes all summer! There is no question that each MBT shoe feels different in terms of the support and fit, so you have to experiment if you are buying them for problem feet like mine. Definitely go a half size to a size bigger--these shoes run small! I'm an 8.5 and ordered the 9. MBT recommends that you DON'T use orthotics with their shoes and they are right--I tried my orthotics with MBTs and they don't feel right. For me, they replace the orthotics.

Love these!
I suffer from plantar fasciitis, and searched out shoes that would help me get through a family trip to Disney! These have worked great; in fact I'm still wearing them as I continue to battle the PF.
They are weird at first! You rock a little and you have to get used to that. You certainly use different muscles. But they make it easy to walk in a way, because you begin to "roll" and glide almost. And "boost" is apt, because these sneakers give you a tidge more height!
I have a wide foot with a high arch and instep, and these suit me very well, not tight at the laces like some sneakers. I've now removed the insoles and have an orthotic in them and they feel even better for my wounded foot. But you don't need an injury as an excuse to buy these! They are very cushiony so if you're doing a lot of walking or standing, I can't say your feet will never hurt, but these will keep them comfy a lot longer.

These have to be one of the most comfortable shoes ever. The instructions say to wear them for 45 minutes a day until you get used to them, but I wore them all day the first day I had them with no problems. They are so fun to walk in. They put a spring in my step. I did have to size up a 1/2 size from what I normally take. I highly recommend to all. Like them so much, I bought them in black too.

If you want to improve your balance and tighten the leg and glut muscles, a balance board is cheaper and feels better. Walking is very stiff and clunky due to the thick sole. Standing works the muscles better than walking but not as well as a simple balance board does for much cheaper.

Weird but comfortable -
I got these shoes on the recommendation of an orthopedic surgeon, as I'm having a lot of joint pain in my foot. They are odd looking and pricey, but they ARE the only things that don't make my feet hurt. And it is strangely energizing to walk around in them - I actually look forward to coming home and putting them on. I just wish they were subtle enough to wear to work. I did go a half-size larger than normal, and that seems a good fit.

Love It!
I absolutely love these shoes! I only wish I could afford more pairs! Very comfortable (even with the first wearing) - they have alleviated much of my foot pain. I have not owned them long enough to see if their fitness claim is true, but I can tell that my muscles do get more of a workout when I wear them. This particular style is very cute and I get compliments every time I wear them. I agree with the other reviewers that the shoes do run small - I had to order a full size up from what I usually wear. Zappos was great with fast delivery and easy returns.

 |  | Best online service ever!!! I had gone to 8 stores to look for these sneakers for my daughter's 9th birthday, with no success. I finally decided to go online and search for it. Several sites popped up. I went to a few sites to compare prices and finally landed Zappos.com. I am so glad I did. The free shipping was great and brought my cost below the other sites' costs for the same item. However, after placing my order, within a few hours I got an email notifying me that my shipment would be sent in 24 hours. I had planned to present my daughter with this gift at her party on Saturday, however, her birthday was next day. Can you believe it! We received the sneakers within 24 hours of ordering it, on her birthday. This was the best service I've received online or in person for that matter.
