Great fitting boots!
I love these boots, so soft and comfy! At first I thought that they felt a little small in the foot but they softened. I only wish that they were a little higher up the leg. I'm always excited about Dansko's!

Great boots!
I purchased these boots for my Christmas outfit and am absolutely thrilled with them! The fit was true to size. The image shown is true to life - no "trick photography" needed to show off these boots. Although I'm not a fan of suede, it works with these boots.
I have a very wide foot and obnoxiously high arch, which means I usually can't wear any type of pull on shoes or boots. These were a bit snug, but nothing that caused discomfort in any way.
I fractured my knee 5 months ago and this is the first heel I've worn since it happened. I can't say I didn't feel a bit of difference compared to flats, but I was still able to wear them without a problem.

I put these on my Christmas list as a whim and never thought I'd receive them! These are the best. I wore them all day New Year's Eve (until 2am) and they were still comfortable. My feet are trashed since taking up dance and few shoes can still feel great for that long. These are beautiful, classic, well made and so comfortable. I'm so glad my husband splurged. I will wear these for years!

I have been wearing Dansko shoes forever over the years they have added many new choices to choose from. The comfort and quality of their shoes are wonderful. These boots are stylish with all the comfort you would ever want. Great Boot.

Dansko Risa black boots -
I originally ordered up a size but they were an inch too big. Ordered my normal size and they are perfect. These are perhaps my favorite boots. They are comfortable and elegant enough to wear with a suit, casual enough for jeans. Very warm boots.

These Boots were made for walking!
Okay, okay. I loved boots since I was a kid, but it seemed they never looked that good on my very long legs. Well I believe these boots would look good on most anyone. The styling looks good on my long legs, and I have seen them on more average height gals, and the proportion still looks great. Oh, and the best part is that they are true members of the Dansko family. Comfy, comfy, comfy, just like my other 5 pairs of Dansko’s. I have been having problems with sciatica, so I haven't worn high heels in about 6 months. No problem wearing these great boots.
I bought my "usual" Dansko size, and they fit just fine.

Beautiful boot - very soft, luxurious suede. The suede around the toe box is molded. The toe has a nice rounded shape. The heel is a little tippy but comfortable. Very elegant looking boot. The black is very black - the brown is a luxurious chocolate color, not reddish at all. I am debating keeping both!

Fabulous boot!
I have a bunch of problems, including a ruptured disc and calves that are prone to cramping, which make it imperative for me to wear comfortable and supportive shoes. However, I'm also 29 and I want shoes with style! These are great looking boots and I can't wait to wear them!! I wear a size 11 wide and ordered the boot in 42.

Love these boots -
Very comfortable but cute boots. Not very high on the calf, but the comfortable heel makes up for it. Had to return original purchase for the next larger size, but it was worth it.

Dansko Risa Boot -
I have four pairs of Dansko sandals & was excited about the prospect of a mid-heel supportive Dansko boot for all-day comfort. The boots felt comfortable when I tried them on & for the first hour or so. From then on my feet were in agony but I was stuck because I had a long day of work. I've tried a few more times for a shorter period but have to say that this is the most uncomfortable boot I have ever worn, including high-heeled fashion boots. The footbed feels rock hard & becomes painful with time. I did not know until I had worn them & I am quite unhappy about wasting this much money on an unwearable boot.

Great, but tight.
These boots are lovely. The calf isn't too tight, nor is it extra big. I felt they were true to size length-wise, but quite tight across the top of the foot. I imagine they might stretch, so I'm going to give them a chance.

Risa Dansko--THE PERFECT BOOT -
This boot is awesome. I wear a size 10 and ordered a 41.The fit is perfect. This boot is comfortable. I can walk all day in them without blisters or aching feet. They look great with all outfits. I thought they might be a little tight around the calf, but they are not. I am so happy that I decided on this boot....PERFECTION!!

Comfy but kind of dorky -
I'm a big fan of Dansko clogs, but they have that chunky kind of dorky look. I bought these boots thinking they would be cuter and still comfortable. But I was disappointed with the style. Even though they were comfortable I sent them back because for the amount of money I just felt like they weren't very attractive.

Any heel I can wear after having back surgery gets 5 stars!
I recently had back surgery and was afraid that I would never be able to wear heels. I have Dansko clogs which are amazing, so I was thrilled to find out that had a boot as well. I could run miles in these shoes and never even think about my feet. They are not only the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn but they look great. Also - I have wider calves and find it difficult to buy boots that fit my calf but these zipped up perfectly. 5 stars all the way!

LOVE MY DANSKOS!
At last, a super-comfy high boot that is all in all pretty attractive! I've worn Dansko clogs for years but have always worn your basic tall black boot with heel, which is not necessarily uncomfortable but certainly not a Dansko. With the Risa, I now have comfort AND cuteness. Don't get me wrong, the heel is not as attractive as some others, but the comfort more than makes up for it. I needed black, but the brown is lovely in person (saw them at a store). I am wearing them as I write this review and anticipate wearing them for years to come!

Very beautiful and comfortable from the start. I like the heel; it adds some length to my legs without being too sharp and spiky. The top of the boot has the effect of a turned down edge and is very attractive.

Stylish...almost as comfy as the clog -
Dansko clogs have "ruined" all my other shoes, because no other brand keeps my feet this happy after miles of walking and long days on my feet. That said, I was a tad disappointed that these boots aren't quite as comfy as the clogs. I guess I have high arches, because I notice a small gap between my instep and the ball of my feet; that gap shrinks a bit when I put in SuperFeet inserts, but is still noticeable. But the style is lovely, and they hug my narrow calves where other boots gap. I wear a 37 clog but bought a 38, and the fit is right. I love that they make your feet look small. I would recommend, with a slight hesitation because I hate to pay this much for shoes that are not perfect.

Good Boot, Zipper often gets Stuck -
This is a very good looking, comfortable boot. I really like it; however, you have to really be careful not to get the zipper stuck. The zipper is very prone to sticking on the back flap as well as to itself. I may have just gotten a bad pair, but it is very annoying when you are trying to just put them on and go. Also this boot felt small around the calf so I ordered a size up to get more room there.

Comfortable, sexy boot -
I wear Dansko clogs at work because I have trouble w/ my feet and these boots I can wear; I can walk w/ this heel. I am a size 38 in clogs but went up to a 39 after reading reviews and glad I did. I am 5'6" and they do not go below the knee as I had wished, but that’s okay, they are comfortable and very stylish. I wanted leather, but the suede is what makes the boot.

Slippery soles -
They are beautiful boots, but when I went to walk, on the carpet, it was very slippery, and then on to ceramic tile. I'm not clumsy; just need more tread for myself.

Great all day boot!
Who would have thought you could get a boot that is this comfortable? And it looks really good on. There is no break in period, they are wonderful the moment you put them on.

Dansko does it again -
Very stylish looking boot (my teenagers and their friends approve ;-) ) and comfortable. I have a lot of trouble finding shoes wide enough and these boots are definitely wearable for me. I wore them the first time today and had to stand quite a bit all morning. My feet did not even bother me one bit. I am very pleased with this boot. I normally wear a 7.5 wide and the Dansko 38 fit me perfectly.
