Pure Heaven!
Oh my goodness: I think I just had a little foot-gasm! This is quite possibly the most comfortable thing that has ever been on my foot (and I'm hardcore about buying good-quality, foot-friendly shoes), and it's stinkin' cute to boot (ha!). Very nice quality leather (rivals Frye, for those of you in-the-know), has beautiful stitching, and the footbed is incredibly supportive & well-cushioned (it's almost like wearing a pair of running shoes). I typically am somewhere between an 8.5 and 9, but decided to order the 8.5 after reading the other reviews -- and it fits like a dream -- had no problems slipping them on, either. The style is awesome with jeans & is cute enough to wear with a skirt. I love the toe -- it's pointy enough to feel modern & sleek, without being painful -- and the overall design has great western attitude without feeling like garish clown shoes (like some designs are just too over-the-top -- if you're not at a rodeo or in Las Vegas, some designs would look pretty silly). I don't think I want to take them off, ever -- even at the beach :) I highly recommend!!

I could not be more pleased with these boots, with Zappos, with the reviewers who told me to order a half-size smaller than usual. Why would anyone be surprised at the shininess of the patent leather (unless they don't understand what 'patent' means)? I would happily pay twice this price for these boots. They are supremely comfortable right out of the box, much lighter weight than I expected. Great arch support too. Now I have to go buy some skirts that will show off these boots to their best advantage!

I received my boots this afternoon and I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THEM! This is my first pair of boots, so for anyone contemplating being a first time boot owner, buy ARIAT and through ZAPPOS! They certainly did not disappoint! I agree with the other reviews about ordering a 1/2 size to a size smaller! I LOVE Zappos as well, and was less apprehensive because I knew there would be FREE return shipping, but these babies are staying with me!

I have been searching for quite some time to find just the perfect cowboy boot, and my search continues. I was shocked at how shiny the patent leather is on these boots! So much so that they look cheap. Plus, I found the length to be about an inch past my toes, resulting in the boots feeling quite clunky. Hmmmmm, if only I could design my own boots... maybe then I could not only get the look I desire, but the fit I need.

These are lovely boots! I am very happy with my purchase! They’re fairly comfortable on the first wear without being broken into. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered half a size down and while one is a little tight, the other fits perfect. I’m going to have the tight one stretched at the local cobbler. All in all, I’m incredibly happy with my new boots! And Zappos is great, too! Free upgrade to overnight shipping which really surprised me! I’ll certainly be shopping at Zappos for my next pair of Ariats and any other shoes I need!

I Want To Marry These Boots! Seriously!
Even after reading all the other comments prior to placing my order, nothing prepared me for how lovely (not to mention extremely comfortable) these boots are! I've got friends plotting how to "steal" these boots from me! LOL I'm glad I followed the advice to get my true size (10)...I plan on purchasing another pair of Ariat boots in the near future. Great boot!
I love this boot. Definitely order down a half size for the perfect fit. I wear these every day!!! Note that there is information on resoling your boot when needed through mail order with Ariat, talk about great service! Also, as always Zappos has the best service, I got my boots fast.

Comfortable Boots -
The shipping payment, processing, and shipping was fast and the service was great. I wear a 10 and bought a 9 1/2. They still fit a little big but I figure a 9 would have been too small. The boots are extremely comfortable and I was able to wear them out the first night I received them. Will buy from Zappos again!

Kick-butt boots -
It took 24 hours to get my boots when I was expecting 4-5 business days for shipping, so that is always a plus. I wear 8 1/2 - 9 so I ordered an 8 1/2 size boot. The seams on the inside of the boot rubbed against my ankle at first, but after breaking them in, that went away. But I wish I would have ordered an 8 because they feel a little bigger now. I ordered Russet Rebel color which looks exactly as it does online...such an awesome boot!

Great boots!
I bought these boots as an x-mas present for my wife. She's from New Mexico and likes a little western sensibility without going over the top, so the functionality and style were just right. She says they felt broken in after just a couple of days' wear.

I recently ordered The Ariat's Legend boots for my daughter's Christmas present. They were beautifully made and were comfortable from the first try on. Thrilled with this boot!!!!!!
I have wanted a pair of Western boots for years, and finally saw these and had to have them. They are gorgeous and fit perfectly. Thankfully, I did heed the advice of other reviewers, and ordered a half size down. They fit perfectly and everyone loves them. Me especially!!! Zappos cannot be beat for customer service. They upgraded my shipping to expedited for free!! Zappos, you rock!!!

My first cowboy boots...
And I love them! All the testimonials on this boot really helped me make my decision, thanks gals! They are the perfect boot and are surprisingly comfortable. I have large calves from running, and even these fit me. They are very flattering with a pair of skinny jeans.

Good lookin' comfort!
When I wear these Ariat Legend boots all day I forget about my feet, that is a great testament to the comfort and fit. I usually wear a size 10 1/2, and have narrow feet, so I have a huge problem finding comfortable shoes. The Legend 10 medium fits me great. I got the copper color and have gotten several complements on my boots.

Love these boots!
I love these boots and I wish I could wear them all the time! The previous reviews were extremely helpful, especially with sizing issues. I "broke" (although there was no need at all with the wonderful arch support) them in on a casual Friday at my work and immediately received many compliments - I didn't even get a chance to point them out to my coworkers before they had already noticed them. The embroidery work was just what I wanted. I have incredibly weak arches and these boots were the most comfortable I have ever worn. They supported my feet just like a pair of sturdy tennis shoes. The following weekend I even helped a friend move wearing them!

Awesome, but too big -
I just got mine in the mail. The brown oiled rowdy look awesome (the stitching is lovely), but my feet are swimming in them, especially at the heel. Just ordered a half size smaller.

Just Perfect!
I'm tall and I wear a size 11. I always find a good selection of cute shoes on Zappos, but I'm not shy about returning items that I am not in love with. When these boots arrived, I knew I had a keeper. They are absolutely PERFECT. In look (I bought the cayenne/tropical (turquoise to be honest) Legends. The leather is stiff and well-sewn. The traditional "you need to stand up to get your foot in the boot" applies! They are snug where it matters, the foot bedding is ultra-cushy for a boot (feels more like a sneaker), and the exterior can handle some muddy puddles. But in San Diego, I'm wearing 'em with sundresses and jeans. I love these boots so much they're sitting in my living room so I can see them everyday. I'm not kidding.

These were cut way too wide for my narrow foot. I also felt the inside of the boot was very rough at the seems. Sadly I had to return them.

Don't Hesitate to Buy this Boot!
This boot rocks! It's beautiful, and feels better than ANY boot I've ever gotten. It felt amazingly comfortable from the instant I slipped my feet in them. There was absolutely no "break in" needed. I will most certainly purchase another pair. Definitely worth the price!

Ariat Legend....
I love Ariat shoes and boots. They are good to ride in and good to walk around in. this boot is both comfortable and great looking and I would definitely recommend it to both riders and non-riders.
