This is a beautiful boot. I always order a half size bigger in boots, to allow for more toe room. I don't think it's necessary with this particular one, however, because the company is very generous with its sizing. Enjoy!

These boots are very cute and I have gotten compliments on them. They were a bit snug in the calf and the top part of my foot when I first wore them, even though I have pretty thin calves. Now that they have broken in after wearing them a few times they are much more comfortable. They still could use more heel support.

I love the way these boots look and they are very comfortable to wear. The heel is a perfect height. They are a bit snug around the calves; I can wear them with tights, but there's no way I'd be able to tuck jeans into them. (I do have large calves.) The boots also slip a tiny bit at the heel when I walk. All in all, I really like them.

These boots fit my 19inch calf well in an 8WW. I do have big calves (fmr cheerleader) and these fit well, I like the extra room it has as I wear an 8W usually. The leather is majorly cheap looking and my sister and I still do not believe it is real leather. I might keep them....however, I am back shopping for a better quality leather...They do look cute in the pict though!

I just received these boots and had they fit, I would have probably kept them. I have a 15" calf and ordered the medium width. Unfortunately, they didn\'t fit... at all (well, unless I wore them as an ankle boot). Too bad. I guess it is back to square one in the hunt for a cute boot that fits.

Large Boots -
If you're like me and you have wide feet and large calves, this is a boot you NEED to look at!The wrinkles decrease the look of your calf and there is extra elastic in the calf for more comfortable movement.

These boots look great! I love that the calf is wide - not only comfortable, but if you want to tuck your jeans in, it's not a problem. The padding in the bottom of the boot is not that thick, so not that comfortable, but the look is worth it. I had to order one size wider than normal because that is all they had in stock - they were a little big so to compensate I wear socks with them - now my feet are warm too!

Very nice!
I love the look of these boots! They look great with skirts. However, they are a bit tight in the calves, and I have skinny legs. I'm hoping the leather will stretch out a bit as I wear them more. They are also a bit wide for my narrow foot, but I think they'll be okay with thick socks and an arch support insert.

I LOVE these boots. They're the most comfortable pair of three-inch heels I've ever worn. Though kind of chunky with the buckle, bunching, and pirate flap, they're surprisingly sexy on. I have tiny feet (5.5 WW) and the slightly pointed toe looks adorable. They're a bit noisy even on me, and I walk lightly, but good for a mellow night out.

Finally, tall boots for wide calves!
First of all, Zappos is the best!! In the comfort of my own home, I was able to find great boots for my 17" calves. These are great real leather boots and look great. The heel is a little high for this 55 year old, but the walk is comfortable in them. I thank Zappos for the great styles and service.

Great boot if you have muscular calves!
I love this boot! I got the wide calf as I like to tuck my jeans into boots so need the extra space. They are almost too wide but I'd rather have the extra space rather than have the boots pinch my calves. They are very comfortable, love them.

I LOVE these boots -
These boots look fantastic and I get many compliments. I rated comfort a 4 because the heel is a little higher than I am accustomed to (but that was clearly pointed out in the description). Also, they are a little snug on the calf but I ordered med rather than wide for fear of "stretching". The double cuff at the top minimizes stretching but I already find them more comfortable than when I first tried them. May I tell you again? They look FANTASTIC!

Decent Boot -
I really liked this boot. The leather was about what I expected for this price and it is a nice style. Unfortunately the shaft of the boot was too tight for my muscular 14.5" calves. I ordered a half size larger than normal and they were still too short in the toe.

Poor arch support. Fit true to size. Width also true to size. Shoe overall is good, but I had trouble with the arch support which made the shoe uncomfortable.

Drab boot!
This boot was a total disappointment! I'm considering sending it back. The brown leather is very cheap-looking. It doesn't have much cushion in the sole but that can be fixed with an insert or thick socks. It does feel a little big in the size; I wear an 8B and that's a little big. Well, the reviews are right about the tight or loose fit in the calves! My calves are toned and, I'd say, normal size and the fit for the 8B is still VERY tight! I did manage to zip them up and it seems that, with wear, the leather will give. After wearing them around the house for a bit, the snugness in the calves didn't feel so tight. But these boots aren't attractive in the leather at all. The style is nice. I'm just looking for something more elegant and sophisticated, and these boots just don't deliver!

Luv these boots!
The boots by David Tate have become my all-time favorite choice. The Cruise style is comfortable and stylish--I own two pair, the black and brown. They are a little pricey, but they are the only boots I have ever put on and been comfortable all day(like over 12 hours)! I also have another style of David Tate's that I wear for everyday winter warmth. In my opinion, boots by David Tate are the best...

I wear 11M width--cannot wear wide. My calf size is 16 1/2 inches, but I ordered 11M-hoping the 1/2 inch would work. Could not get the zipper up the last inch and a half. However, I pushed the shaft of the boot down, zipped it up and then pulled the shaft of the boot up to my knee- like putting on nylon. It worked. Boots are comfortable (I haven't worn heels in years) and look great. Very pleased with Zappos service.

Love these boots -
I tried these boots in my usual size (7-1/2 WW) and one size larger with a narrower width (8 W). The WWs were too large around the calf, so I went with the 8's, which fit fine. They are reasonably comfortable, and I feel like a million bucks wearing them! I love the scrunched look with an ankle-length skirt and they move very well around the ankle -- no stiffness at all.

I love the look of this kind of boot, but I have not been able to find one that fits for several reasons: I have a wide (not extra-wide) calf that measures 17", I wear an 11W, and I have MS, which precludes my moving in a high-heeled shoe or boot. These are pretty wonderful in the fit and the look, and I can walk in them (not too far, but all afternoon or about 7-8 NYC blocks)! Although for me, this is a high heel, it is comfortable. I truly recommend that you try them if you sometimes have trouble like this and want sexy, stylish boots!

Excellent trendy WIDE calf boot.
I have been looking for boots to fit my large calves for years. I wear a size 8 in clothing, but my calves are freakishly large. I ordered a 10 WW at first, but they were too large for my calf! I then ordered a 9.5 W (b/c the 10 W wasn't available) and they were slightly difficult to zip up, but possible and then they fit perfect - the leather definitely stretches out. One thing to note: I think the WW width has a slightly cheaper quality leather than the W. The leather looked totally different. I gave it a 4/5 for comfort, but that could be because the 9.5 might have been a touch too small for me (but the 10 seemed too big).

Great boots, excellent customer service!
The boots are great- wish they came in regular medium shoe size with wide calf, but with a couple pairs of socks they fit OK.
But Zappos definitely has the corner on customer service! I will most definitely order from them again!

 |  | I can't thank you enough! I have always had a difficult time finding comfortable shoes because I have a very narrow foot. I now have a medical foot issue that has progressed to the point of needing to replace nearly all of my shoes with relatively flat, well-made (translation: expensive) shoes to enable me just to walk without excessive pain. Needless to say, it is difficult to know immediately if a given shoe will both fit my narrow foot and not cause a great deal of pain after an hour of wear. Your free-return policy has been a true blessing to me. It is not easy to spend $170.00 on a pair of shoes that may hurt my feet after an hour and be unwearable if those shoes cannot be returned easily. The specialty shoe store in my area is great, but they offer a limited selection and any special orders can only be returned with a 15% restocking fee. Other online shoe stores require me to pay the return shipping fee and cannot begin to match the customer service that you provide. This can get costly and time consuming when one has the type of issues I have and needs to replace an entire wardrobe of shoes with well-built shoes. I have to say, even if I did not have foot issues, Zappos would be my shoe store for the selection and great customer service alone. Additionally, you offer such quick shipping, the best customer service I have found in as long as I can remember and great selection. I am incredibly happy that I was told about Zappos. You have simplified this part of my life, and believe me, with my foot pain, that is a very large part of my life. I have written other thank you notes to Zappos as well, but I wanted to send a special note of thanks for the quick shipping. I will continue to rave about Zappos to friends and family!
