They're cool and fit nice but I walk a lot and had to switch back to my old shoes because my arches started hurting. I’ll stick some inserts in there and see how that goes, I guess.

Better than Chucks for power lifting -
This shoe is much better and worth the extra $10. A little more comfort inside and the material is thicker and reinforced around the eyelets. The rubber sole is better than the Chucks, which isn't completely rubber. I used to slip in the Chucks on our gym floor, but these stick right to it, which is a big confidence/safety boost. I like the design better as well.

First sight -
I ordered these for my grandson, he is almost 13 and very picky about his shoes, and he loved them at first sight, he has worn them everyday since they arrived. I am sure I will be ordering them again when worn out or grown out of them.

Just a great bargain -
After buying a few pairs of various manufacturers of shoes from Zappos, these Dravens are the first ones that I felt obligated to write a review on. I was looking for a no-nonesense, non-leather(vegetarian) shoe. I might have settled for the vans or converse hi-tops, but I know the lack of support those shoes normally have. So I took a leap of faith and spent a whopping $47 on these guys. Way more comfortable than the vans or converse counterparts. There is actually a little bit of bounce in my step. The rubber souls provide a good amount of cushion, without being too much. Great upper support as well. Even though there is little to no arch support, it doesn’t feel like I'm walking on plywood (like the vans or cons). They feel a half size larger than marked, but it seems like going a half step down would be too small. Width is perfect. Manufacturer should investigate glues used; this very well could be the best deal on vegan shoes.

Great shoes -
These have to be one of the best pairs of shoes I’ve had in a LONG time. Had to wear ‘em in the first couple days, but they fit like a glove now. Soles are thick compared to Chucks... I received a ton o'comments from random people about ‘em...the only bad thing is that they get dirty pretty quickly, since they're mostly white. Other than that, these shoes rock!

Shoe better built than Converse, and oh so fashionable -
The soles are much less flimsy than the Converse All-Star shoe they are modeled after, a firm non-pliable sole, and there is reinforcement in the exterior pinky toe area that my Converses always end up wearing out first. Also note: the stripes on the shoes are non-leather, and the manufacturer told me the only reason the shoe is not categorized as vegan is because they are unsure if there are animal products in the glues used.

Great shoes -
I've had Duane Peters shoes before they were made by Draven, but I still love the style and the feel. They're similar to Chuck T's but last three times as long and have wilder colors. With everyone and their mom walking around in a pair of "skate shoes," these will definitely set you apart.

 |  | Zappos, you are amazing! Can you please explain to me how you can make shoes arrive on my doorstep 12 hours after I order them? I placed my order at 10 pm, and by 10 the next morning I got an email saying the box was on my porch. Even my daughter was impressed, because she knows that when you order things ‘on the computer’ they generally take ‘forever’ to get here. We are mystified but very grateful!
