This is an excellent sandal for someone who needs more support than is usually found in a thong or sandal. At first, the high arch support is not quite comfortable, but I did not feel the usual nagging of my plantar fasciitis after a full day of walking in these. It took me a few days to get over the fatigue caused by the arch support and to get used to the pressure on the top of my foot where the straps cross, but it was worth it to give these a week. None of the original discomfort lasted! Worth every penny!

These shoes are very comfortable. I wear them daily - for work, play, dress, etc. The BEST part is they hold their shape, comfort, and quality for years. I am still wearing my old pair (2 years now) and they are as comfortable as they were when I bought them. They compare to Danskos.

Very comfortable! This is my second pair of Chacos. I love them both and use them often especially when I have to do a great deal of walking! These shoes are a must have.

I have plantar fasciitis in one foot and these are the only shoes I can wear comfortably. Took brand new on vacation in Colorado. They were wonderful. I ordered at 4 pm one day received next day at 9 am, you can't beat that service.

These shoes are great. The toe piece could be slightly tighter, but overall, I love them. The arch is so comfortable I could wear them forever.

Awesome Sandal!
These sandals are very comfortable, functional and different from all the other styles people wear. It took no time to break in and I'm able to wear them for long periods with no discomfort. If you're looking for a casual, comfy, good arch support sandal unlike many others, this is an excellent choice!

Great arch but too heavy -
I bought these for the arch support and it does offer unparalleled arch support. However, the sole is really heavy and as a result I found that the shoe doesn't stay on. No matter what way I adjusted the straps the shoe forced me to grip uncomfortably hard with my toes.
I never wear them because the gripping causes pains in other parts of my leg.

Great sandal - very versatile -
I love my pebble Hipthong sandal! My podiatrist wants me to wear higher heals and this does not satisfy that. However, I still think my feet feel better at the end of the day because of the excellent arch support. I find I can wear these sandals first thing in the morning out in the garden, then with a nicer outfit to work and still take great long walks around the neighborhood! They meet my requirements!

Love, love, love this sandal! Very comfortable as all Chaco's are. Also very cute. I want them in every color. I normally wear an 8 1/2 this shoe I ordered a 9 and they fit great! Would highly recommend them to anyone!

I just ordered a 2nd pair of Hipthongs. I had black and ordered the pebble. These are so awesome because I have a narrow foot and I can adjust them perfectly. I have a neuroma on the bottom of one foot so normally can only wear my NB walk shoes for all day wear at work (am a librarian) but with these I can get out of the aerobic look and into summer with the same comfort the NB give me. I have tried two other styles of this type Chaco's but they aren't as easy to adjust as these and they don't look as nice. Have had many compliments on how these look on my feet! I will order more colors next summer. Thank you Chaco's and thank you Zappos for your wonderful, quick service!

Love these sandals! Comfortable from the start. I was having problems with my feet and legs cramping. No more problems since I started wearing these. I love being able to adjust the straps across the instep. Great shoe.

Wonderful shoes!
I wear sandals as much of the year as is possible, but find that my middle-aged feet need more support now than they used to. My niece wears Chacos for her plantar fasciitis so I thought I would try a pair --- they are great! The soles are a bit heavy but still very comfortable and they are cute and come in luscious colors and you can adjust the straps! Also, as a vegetarian, I appreciate the fact that they are non-leather. What more can I say?

Long lasting?
This shoe is heavier than I expected. It is sturdier than Tevas and the footbed won't take on that Teva smell.... am an 8.5, got a 9, but it runs large...

Not like walking in a flip-flop -
These shoes are spectacular. They are so comfortable - not like walking in a flip-flop at all because of the straps across the foot and arch support. I even went on a minor hike and can chase my toddler in them. I've received tons of compliments.

I like these much more than I thought I would. I sort of bought these on a whim and I'm very glad I did, I love them! They are very comfortable as long as you aren't doing a lot of walking. I find that mine rub the top of my foot a bit where the straps cross if I walk in them for long periods of time. Other than that, they are great. An excellent shoe for casual wear with some support and not too "sport sandal" looking.

I felt these shoes run a little small. I normally wear a size 10 except in cheaper shoes I usually need an 11. In these shoes I need an 11. Very disappointed when they arrived and seemed too short. I did like the straps. Cute style. They do have a high arch.

This is a good shoe, very supportive. It has taken me a little time to get used to the arch support, but that is because I have very low arches and plantar fasciitis. I really like this sandal, and I would definitely buy another pair.

Great shoe, comfort, and appearance. This is my first pair of Chacos, and I love them. They look a lot like flip flops, but are much more comfortable. They have nice arch support and are very adjustable.

I've always had trouble finding comfortable shoes, but these were the remedy! The arch support is unmatched, even in athletic shoes!! I wore them on vacation and walked miles without pain or even a thought about my feet and legs! Definitely worth the money!! I love Chaco’s and Zappos, my feet thank you!

Awesome! I love these sandals. I had an injury from wearing regular flip flops and these actually healed the muscle. They are so comfortable, supportive and stylish. I get compliments all the time.

Great shoes. This is my second pair and I really like these ones the best. This shoe does run a tiny bit wide, but with the adjustable straps, you won’t need to worry about them slipping. I wear a size 7-7.5, so I got the 8 and they’re perfect!!! ZAPPOS ROCKS!!!

Unique and so cute! The Hipthong is a great casual flip flop although in no way should they be confused with regular, no-support flip flops. I also have the ZX/2 Unaweep sandal AND the new Canyonland Low shoe. The Chaco Bio-Centric footbed can't be beat for comfort and support. I bought these in the Tamarind color and they're so cute that complete strangers have asked me where I got my shoes. I happily tell them "from Zappos of course!"

Comfy shoe - This shoe is comfortable right out of the box. I wasn't able to get the color I wanted, so I settled for the khaki/pink pair. OK, they have good arch support and are comfortable, which is the whole reason I got them, but they aren't as "cute" as I'd hoped. Nobody's asked where I got them or commented on how awesome they look with my outfit. Maybe my problem is that they don't look that different than a $10 pair of flip-flops...but they feel much better than the cheapies, so I guess that's the important thing.
