I have VERY large calves and was amazed to find that these were too big...ladies measure yourself before purchasing these. They are 19" wide, and even on my big legs they were huge and stood away. It's truly a shame that they have to go back. This is a good looking boot and is extremely comfortable, but I'm not sure who they're meant for.

I have other pairs of Chacos but this is the first time I have purchased the hipthong. I love the shoe and have used it for around town and for extended walking with no problem. I just wish it were easier for someone to adjust the thong if you have a narrow foot. I can't seem to get it just right. Overall this is an excellent shoe.

The perfect vacation shoe! I've been really pleased with these sandals. They are very comfortable and I can wear them all day. It did take a bit of time to get used to the feel of them. They have a bit more of an arch than I am used to and at first it felt like a bit too much arch support. But after I wore them around, I really took to them. I usually wear a 6 1/2 but got a 6 in these as they didn't have a 1/2 size and that seemed to work just perfectly. These have a nice casual look to them without looking too clunky like some sport sandals do.

Comfy, not good for wide or fat foot -
I put them on and they were comfortable, but my foot, which is wide, seemed to be coming out the sides and looked unattractive. While comfort is important, appearance is too.

The Ultimate Flip-Flop -
I love these shoes! This is my second pair. I wear them practically every day until we start seeing frost. I keep pretty active with my two young boys and our dog, but because of the great support and the extra straps, they don't really "flip" off of my feet.

Shoe fits perfectly, easy to walk in, didn't get any blisters from wearing the first time and even having to run in them.

I love these Flips -
I absolutely love these flip flops. I teach and I live in AZ so I am on my feet all day long and I wear nothing but Chaco Flip flops. These are the best I have had. They were super comfortable from the moment I took them out of the box. I wish I had a pair in every color!

Love 'em!
This is my second pair of Hipthongs and I am wanting more. Once the straps are correctly sized for my foot they are the most comfortable shoe around. They are the shoe I put on first thing in the morning without thinking. I have foot pain and these are undeniably the most comfortable shoe I own.

Fits true to size. I wear a 9 and bought a 9 in this sandal. Easy adjustable straps and a great look with capris or skirts!

Best Shoes Ever!
These shoes are so awesome! I have not worn any other shoe since I have gotten them. And I even threw them in the washing machine to clean them after going to the lake. Just let them air dry after.

Great comfortable shoe - This is one of the best shoes I have purchased recently. It has great arch support for my feet and is easy just to slip on and off. I would definitely buy another pair of these sandals.

I love this shoe. This is the 2nd pair of Chaco's for me. This shoe is great for all time wear. The arch support is great and very comfortable. To look at the shoe it seems very hard, however, it really conforms to your foot. I am looking forward to trying the Chaco full shoe soon.

I originally ordered the Zong Eco Tread but found it didn't fit well on my foot. So back to the Hipthong, which I've ordered before and loved. Much better fit, easier to keep on foot and keep the strap tight enough.

I'd been looking for the perfect Chacos for a long time and was so excited when I found these. I absolutely love how they look and they're really comfortable since I don't have much of an arch in my foot. The straps, however, sometimes rub the top of my foot leaving marks and blisters.

The flip-flop that feels like a shoe -
Excellent Chaco footbeds make this cute, strappy flip-flop/slide extremely comfortable. I wear them everywhere I would wear a flip-flop. I chose these shoes for the slide in and go shoe of my wardrobe, but I knew that I needed a shoe with a lot of support. These are perfect and they are super cute on.

Perfect sandals -
I ordered these right before a trip to Hong Kong. They did require a brief break in period, but now they are the most comfortable things I own. Chacos are the only shoes that offer enough arch support, but many Chacos hurt my feet because of weird straps, but these shoes seem to have been made for me.

I am hard to fit!
I love sandals and flip flops, but up until now they either did not fit or give my foot support. These shoes are great. I have a narrow foot and also low volume and being able to adjust the straps to fit my foot makes them great for me. I wear them all day long!!

Love The Hipthong EcoTread -
This is an excellent sandal for someone who needs more support than is usually found in a thong or sandal. At first, the high arch support is not quite comfortable, but I did not feel the usual nagging of my plantar fasciitis after a full day of walking in these. It took me a few days to get over the fatigue caused by the arch support and to get used to the pressure on the top of my foot where the straps cross, but it was worth it to give these a week. None of the original discomfort lasted! Worth every penny!

I have plantar fasciitis in one foot and these are the only shoes I can wear comfortably. Took brand new on vacation in Colorado. They were wonderful. I ordered at 4 pm one day received next day at 9 am, you can't beat that service.

These shoes are great. The toe piece could be slightly tighter, but overall, I love them. The arch is so comfortable I could wear them forever.

Awesome Sandal!
These sandals are very comfortable, functional and different from all the other styles people wear. It took no time to break in and I'm able to wear them for long periods with no discomfort. If you're looking for a casual, comfy, good arch support sandal unlike many others, this is an excellent choice!

Great arch but too heavy -
I bought these for the arch support and it does offer unparalleled arch support. However, the sole is really heavy and as a result I found that the shoe doesn't stay on. No matter what way I adjusted the straps the shoe forced me to grip uncomfortably hard with my toes.
I never wear them because the gripping causes pains in other parts of my leg.

Great sandal - very versatile -
I love my pebble Hipthong sandal! My podiatrist wants me to wear higher heals and this does not satisfy that. However, I still think my feet feel better at the end of the day because of the excellent arch support. I find I can wear these sandals first thing in the morning out in the garden, then with a nicer outfit to work and still take great long walks around the neighborhood! They meet my requirements!
