The material is not real suede, but suede fabric, I did not realize that. The boot is really narrow. I usually wear 7M although my feet are probably a bit wider than a true M, so I often need to break in new shoes. So this one I ordered 7W and it still felt too narrow. Also the shaft was way too tall for me. I am 5'4" with long legs. The boot went past the widest point of my calf, so there was a big gap between the material and my leg at the top. The heel is indeed not a problem in terms of comfort.

Love, love, love this boot! It's sexy, and totally comfortable. Do not worry about the 2.75" - it really is comfortable! I have the Bouquets Annie with the same heel height - totally uncomfortable. But not this boot! I wear an 8.5WW usually, but had to go up to a 9WW in this shoe. Looks awesome with knee length skirts.

Cool and comfortable boots!
I love these boots! I am 5'11" and have a size 10 foot, so I don't wear (or need!) high heels; I wanted something sexy, cute and current with a fairly low heel and these fit the bill perfectly. I gave it a comfort rating of 4 stars, though, because of the ankle area. It is a little loose and the folds hurt my ankle a little bit. Oh, also, I ordered it a .5 size larger and in a wide because of the pointy tow and it fits great.

Comfy and attractive -
I'm very satisfied with this boot. I wore them all day teaching, and they stayed comfortable. I didn't want them to be snug, so I ordered the 10W for my wide-ish size 10 foot. They were perfect with stockings. Around the calf they are fine. If anything, they could be a smidge tighter, but they are acceptable. The style is very flattering; even my H.S. female students admired them. The brown is dark, making a nice neutral. I highly recommend these boots.

Beautiful Boot -
This boot looks and feels fantastic--the only comfort drawback is there isn't much cushioning on the sole and it feels very thin. The zip makes it easy to put on and take off and doesn't detract from the look. I ordered a half-size larger than usual--I think that was a good decision. Very happy with this purchase!

The Perfect Black Boot -
I looked and looked until I found this black boot- perfect for all my winter dresses. I have tall and skinny calves and these fit them beautifully. They are comfortable all day and night and the soft suede is very classy. I sprayed mine with a coat of Scotch Guard to protect them from getting dirty or wet.

Cute and comfy, too!
I really like the way this boot fits snug against my calf and the curved heel. It’s a sexy looking boot. And it’s very comfortable. Now I want another pair in black! I'd also like to say thanks to Zappos for the outstanding customer service.

I love the way this looks -
This is a great looking boot, and it really fits my narrow foot. It could use a little more cushioning in the sole, I'm going to put in a insert which should correct the problem. I really like this boot a lot

Great boot for slim legs. Might bag slightly at the ankle on some, fits nicely at the calf. Heel is a great height for being on your feet a while. The footbed is not padded, so if your feet are sensitive you may want to add a bit of padding. Toe is pointy, not great for those with wide feet, but I have bunions and was not bothered by the toebox. I receive compliments on this boot whenever I wear them.

The Perfect Boot!
Not only are these boots beautiful, but comfortable as well. It's so hard to find a comfortable AND sexy boot and these definitely fit the bill..I get compliments every time I wear them!!

These boots are really pretty from a distance but they are not suede, instead they are more like cloth. The jury is still out on these boots. Love the heel height though.

Great boots!
I was so thrilled to find a fashionable, high-heeled boot in a narrow size! These boots fit great (though not much arch support) and look very cute. I went out on a limb (for me) and got the suede and am really glad I did.

Wow - they fit my giant calves!
So I've always had athletic calves, even when I weighed 120 lbs (which I don't anymore), so I can't tell you how happy I am to have boots that fit me! Hooray!

It didn't quite measure up -
I had to take a look at this boot before committing to the price of a Stuart Weitzman. I am happy with my other Vaneli’s. I tried three of the Weitzman’s that have an 18 inch shaft. One was too pointy. The next was stretch leather and I didn't like the feel of it, and the third is a second choice of color but feels great in spite of having a 3 inch (very high for me) heel. You don't generally get your first choice when you are a 12 Narrow. It is almost the same brown suede boot. The Vaneli is 2 inches lower on my leg and kind of baggy. The heel seems to be more stable than the Weitzman, but once I felt the difference in comfort and the look I decided these have to go back. In truth, ideal would be a boot with a 19 inch shaft because I am over 6 feet tall. The Weitzman has 18" and looks and feels great.

I thought I ordered this pair, but was sent something else. After clearing things up with customer service, the right pair was sent the next day and I absolutely love them! I have a very narrow calf and these hug my calves just the way I want. The heel is less than 3", but it's a great height for me.

Fits like a glove!
I love this boot. I have tried to find a great dressy boot with a low heel and this is it! I thought I wouldn't like the stretch shaft, but it is actually very comfortable compared to other boots I have tried this season. I would definitely buy this in another color.
