Excellent walking shoe for vacation.
I'm ordering my second pair of Privo’s after walking all over Norway in them for 3 weeks. I'm ordering a pair in black so I can use them for dressy dinners on the ship in Alaska. I followed the advice of others and ordered a half size smaller than usual and they fit perfectly. Cute, well made shoe that is versatile.

Ridiculously Comfortable -
No break-in period needed immediate comfort and very cute, it's the perfect combination. I wear a 9 and based on the other reviews ordered an 8. Great fit, even without socks. I got the brown and later that day ordered the black. Worth every penny.

Love this shoe! I agree with everyone else, it runs about a half size larger than most. I wear the shoe everywhere and always get compliments!

Order 1/2 size smaller than you typically wear -
Cute shoe, although definitely runs 1/2 size big. I normally wear a 7, but had to send the 7s back for a 6.5. Also, my feet are a bit on the wide side, so these fit well in the width. If you have narrow feet, I wouldn't even attempt these.

I love this shoe!!! It was super comfortable right out of the box. In fact, the first day I wore them, I wore them all day and I was comfortable all day long! They are lite as air, they breathe well, they look cute, and they feel wonderful on your feet. I ordered a 10.5 and Zappos sent a 10, which was great because the 10 was borderline too big. They run a little narrow, which is great for me because I have a narrow foot. I love this shoe and can't say enough good things about it!

Go down at least one size!
I usually take a 6W, and decided that I would try a 6M based on the comments from everyone to go down a size. I could have easily taken a 5M. The 6 was too big and slipped in the heel; the Medium width would have probably been okay, but it was hard to judge because the shoe seemed so big. I returned them, and then found a different shoe to order. But with Zappos, the return process is easy. Had I not found a different shoe that I liked, I would have tried the smaller size. If you find the right size, they seem like they would be comfortable.

A very comfortable and lightweight shoe. First tried a 7 but ended up with a 6--so this shoe runs big. As always, Zappos was terrific with the return and speedy getting me the replacement. This shoe looks great with everything from capris, to jeans and skirts.

Yes, this shoe runs a half size too big. I had to send my first pair back, but how fantastic is it that it even COMES in a size 12? I'm hooked on Privo just because of that. I've worn this shoe all over the place for lots and lots of walking and it's quite wonderful. This one is great because the sides around the heel are soft and they give a lot. It doesn't have a stiff structure and therefore never ever rubbed on my ankle or heel. You can do this shoe with or without socks. I'm totally excited to wear this shoe all over Europe this summer.

Just received my order. After reading other reviews, I ordered a 10 wide - I am usually an extra-wide 10.5. The shoes are very comfortable and I am very pleased with them.

This is a great little shoe!
I consider myself a connoisseur of comfortable shoes and this is one of the best. It fit great right out of the box. I did pay attention to the reviews that mentioned this shoe was about half a size larger than marked. I ordered a half size smaller than my normal size and I am walking on air. It has good arch support, good heel support, doesn't rub blisters anywhere. I'm planning to buy this shoe in another color once I've saved up the funds. It's definitely worth it. It's a shoe you can wear all day, even when you prop your feet up.

These are the most expensive, most practical shoes I've ever bought in my life. They are so comfortable, only set back is they run large. I wear a 10.5 wide, I have bunions, plantar fasciitis, and flat feet, the worst cases ever. I still ordered a 10 medium and they were still too wide and too big, I wish I would have gotten them in a 9.5 medium. But still best comfort shoes I've ever owned. Can't wait to get them in other colors.

Just spent 3 days on vacation walking around historic sights and this shoe was the most comfortable I've had in a long time. Runs pretty big. I ordered a 7, usually wear 7 1/2, and had to put a heel cushion in to take up some room but with that insert, the shoe fits great.

Cute & comfy, but runs BIG!
I'm so disappointed! These feel like they'd be super comfy and the style is kind of clunky, but still cute and they run really big. I normally wear an 8 wide (to accommodate my bunions), but I followed the advice of the other reviewers and ordered a 7.5 wide. It was still way too long, slipping right off my heel. (The width did feel good though.) I'm dubious about ordering a whole size smaller than I normally wear, so I'm returning them and am just going to try a different shoe.

My first Privo -
I am a proud own of the Privo Float in the sage green. Normally I wear a size 8 shoe and occasionally a 7.5 but these definitely run large. I had to send the first pair back for a 7. Zappos is the best about returns and exchanges! The shoe is super light weight and reminds me of a slipper with support. I won’t be going for a five mile walk in them but for shopping, strolling, and for casual wear they are great. Their look is good, too. I have had several compliments. I live in Iowa so this is definitely a spring and summer shoe. I took one star off under comfort because I had one issue. The heel was continually slipping. It was not painful and it did not cause blisters - it was just annoying. I bought some Dr. Scholl’s gel heel liners and put those in. Now the shoes are perfect – no more slipping.

OK shoe, but not for me -
This is a sporty little shoe that is very light weight. The weight reminds me of a ballet slipper or those cheap little black shoes you can buy in International districts. Another similarity is the arch support which is non-existent. It doesn't really look like it will hold up too well over the long run, so I plan to return it and get something sturdier.

I read through all of the reviews that said these shoes ran large, but NOOO, did I believe them? I ordered a 9W, my usual size, and I swam in them. I reordered the 8 1/2 W and they were perfect. My only complaint is that the color (black) does come off on my toes when I wear them with bare feet. And that's too bad, because they are extremely comfortable with bare feet. They look good enough for work, as well as with shorts or pants. Great shoes, I'll probably order another color as well.

This shoe is one of the most comfortable shoes I've owned. Definitely order a half size smaller. I am a 10 wide on a good day, and I had to return them for a 9 1/2. I'll probably order another color as well!

I Love these!
These are just dressy enough to wear to my somewhat-relaxed office, and are still fun enough that I want to wear them everywhere else, too. I liked them so much I got them in three different colors! They are a little long for their size, so you may want to order a half size down. I like them a little loose, so I kept them the way they were (plus they don't have anything smaller than a 6). I have wide feet and the wide is great.

Super comfy and cute!
This is my third pair of the Privo Float. I am a nurse and bought the white pair because the other two pair I have are so comfortable. I also have them in black and the brown. They look so cute with jeans or capris as well. I will definitely keep buying this brand of shoe.

Great shoes/ what's with the wide heel?
I love this shoe so much I ordered three pairs! Light and breezy feel to it. The inside is so comfortable; you'll be tempted to go without socks.
However... what's with the heels? I had to use THREE heel liners to be able to wear them, or they slid off my feet.
However, the front of the shoe is so comfortable, weighing practically nothing...so I did it. You can wear with jeans or dress slacks. Probably not a dress or skirt...maybe a skirt.
Great shoe...but I'd love to see a heel more in line with the rest of the world. I cannot believe most people have such wide heels.

A pretty nice shoe overall...
The heel area is a bit wide (ah, the joy of buying yet another set of stick on heel liners!), and the strap cross the top is a bit shorter than I'd like - as if it assumed your foot is literally thinner top to sole? - but it's mounted with elastic to stretch pretty easily. Strap area squeaky unless perfectly centered across foot. *I'd say to be sure to order half-size down for barefoot, normal size for thinner socks.* Insole does not absorb odor, if that's a worry for bare feet inside shoes.
