608's rule -
I have a problem finding shoes that fit...the 608 in 15 4E fits like a glove, and is incredibly comfortable. I just wish it was a fabric tongue instead of the all leather...otherwise, GREAT shoe.

Good Choice -
For a shoe you can take out of the box and wear, you can't beat this one. It felt just a tad less "cushy" in the support area than in the past, but still doable. I do a lot of treadmill exercise, and this shoe holds up very well in that area.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: New Balance in general is a trustworthy brand. I like 609, but I don't think you carry it any longer.

My review of New Balance MX608 -
This was the second time that I have purchased this shoe from Zappos. They are very comfortable and look good. I know that I purchased the last 2 pairs of these shoes in my size. I hope that Zappos takes my advice and gets more of these or the New Balance 621 or 622 in stock. I am extremely pleased with Zappos service and dependability.

This is a great general purpose sneaker. It is comfortable, has great arch support and looks good with an array of clothing and would work great as a work shoe.

Great shoe...I have a very high instep and wish I had ordered the 4E width instead of the EE. Still very happy with the shoe. Very light weight and great arch support. Zappos can't be beat for service and speedy delivery.

Most athletic shoes are made either medium or wide widths. New Balance makes shoes to fit everyone. The shoes are first rate quality.

Great all purpose shoe -
I got my first pair of these years ago and they always fit me better than most athletic shoes. I wear orthotics and these have wide sizes that accommodate it. They're a little deeper than some, which helps - my heel doesn't slip out. Good support and easy to keep clean, at least until they get too badly creased. The only drawback is that the artificial leather is too warm in much of the summer, but for 3/4 of the year, they're great.

Review of NB608 -
The shoe I purchased was in white. The sole and toe guard are all white. The shoe is great. But when I kneel the white toe guard gets dirty. Next time I'll get an NB shoe with a dark sole and toe guard. New Balance is the best shoe on the market. Zappos got the shoe to me the next day. Their service and shipping is wonderful.

These shoes are typical of New Balance...GREAT!
I have long skinny feet and these 13B`s provide the perfect fit in both length and width. Thank goodness they are consistent in sizing every time. I use these for walking and every day all day wear. I prefer the plain white version without the decorative design, and these fill the bill. They are exceedingly comfortable and, thankfully, remain at a price point within my budget.

This has to be my favorite shoe so far. I wear what must be an odd size, 14B. My local stores carry no narrow widths in my size, but Zappos had several choices to pick from.

I wear a 12 4A, but can make do with 12 2A athletic shoes. Prior to these, I have never had to break in a pair of sneakers. These are the most painful sneakers I have ever worn - why I did not return them is beyond me. The width is narrow enough, but the toe box could easily accommodate 2 inch high toes. These feel like the shoe is too deep. Terrible, terrible, terrible.

Wide stride -
Short and sweet... A good shoe - feels like the same family as previous models, specifically the 609 which was one I liked very much (this coming from an old soccer player). I have always found it very difficult to get a good sneaker in my width (minimum 4E) that is the "old" 4E size before what seems to me to now be somewhat smaller? It always takes several days to stop my feet from feeling cramped and a few years ago that was not the case. I've had these new ones now for a short time and they still are tight. Next time I think I will try the "new" 6E size (which didn’t exist until recently). Anyway, I didn't want to come across as a complainer, so please forgive me! Your phone operators are great. I wear these shoes during a martial arts class were side motion is as important as forward/back motion. They were comfortable and supported my ankles well.
I order 1 size larger because I wear these shoes with medium thick socks and I don't wear socks with my work/dress shoes. Perfect fit by doing that. Would order the same shoe again.

Not for me -
I bought this shoe for work; I am an emergency room nurse and am on my feet for 12 hours at a time. At first they were comfortable enough, but after about two weeks I noticed that my arches hurt so bad at the end of my shift that I could barely walk. I kept at it for a few more weeks thinking that they might need to just break in, but finally had to get a new pair. I've always had good luck with New Balance and have had good luck with the pair I replaced them with. (Model #996).

Great Tennis Shoe. New Balance makes a great athletic shoe and this one was "just what the doctor ordered" -- it's great to be able to get an athletic shoe in a narrow size, though we normally order 1/2 size larger than actual shoe size. Zappos makes ordering so easy... thank you Zappos...

I recently purchased these sneakers for my husband. He is a hard man to please when it comes to sneakers. Well, low and behold, he loves them. Now, I don't have to go crazy anymore, buying sneakers, and him only wearing them once or twice and not using them again. Definitely, these are 5 stars!

If customer is interested in something, they don't have to be married to it. Your policies and your service make this too easy.
