I love the new soft footbed, unbelievably comfortable! The shoe fits perfectly and suits my need for a strap so I do not accidentally slide out of my shoe!

This was my first Zappos purchase, and I was astounded by the fast shipping. The price was much lower than the cost in my local store, and the staff there told me they couldn't even order this particular shoe in my size! The shoes are perfect. I love the dainty straps instead of the usually-bulky straps of traditional Birkenstocks. I would definitely recommend Zappos. In fact, I already have!

They felt a little stiff at first especially where there is a rivet on the inside of the ankle. But they softened up right away. They were very comfortable and the anatomical foot bed very supportive. Make sure you get the right size or the ridges won't line up. I wear a 9 1/2 wide and got these in 39, they fit great. Best of all a shoe I can wear without my orthotic.

This is my favorite Birkenstock sandal, and my favorite overall sandal. It is extremely comfortable, feminine looking, and just always feels good. I can wear the Bali soft footbed anywhere, no matter how much walking I do. Paint your toe nails a pretty color and wear this sandal. You'll love them!

I love Birkenstock shoes. There is nothing better for comfort, though they sometimes lack in "beauty".These are my favorites. They walked me all over the "Big Apple" right out of the box. If you have a medium width foot, order them narrow. I wear a 38 regular width because I like the extra toe space. That's a 7.5 wide - US sizes.

These sandals have great arch support and the footbed is soft from the beginning. They do take a bit to get the leather to not be so stiff, but it\'s only a day or so! Well worth the money.

This sandal is "nice". I don't hate it, but I also don't love it. It needs more holes in the straps to tighten it up; the shoe is a little big around my ankles. The price was high, but got free shipping.

I love all Birkenstock shoes, but these are my very favorites! They took no time at all to break in, and they're the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on my feet. They are SO cute! I wish they came in more colors, because I'd have a pair in every color. This was my first time ordering from Zappos, and I couldn't believe how quickly I received my shoes. I WILL order from Zappos again!

Had foot surgery (bunion removed) recently...this is the type of shoe recommended by my podiatrist. She was so right. Extremely comfortable and, I think, good looking. Shopping Zappos was both interesting and, most importantly, a painless experience.

This is an EXTREMELY comfortable shoe. I am often on my feet for extended periods of walking and standing on uncovered concrete or marble flooring, and am able to wear mine all day without experiencing any foot fatigue or pain. I have an area on the first knuckle of my right big toe where I developed a small blister with the first extended wearing, but I forgot to put on my protective bandaid when I wore them for about the tenth time today, and I had no problem. They are fairly feminine-looking and less "klunky" than some of my other Birkenstocks, which is a feat, since my feet are on the wide side. They look great with skirts. I have had no issues with buckles or rivets at all, and I think all Birkenstocks should have soft footbeds! I would recommend these sandals unreservedly.

I thought I'd give this Birkenstock a try since it has a back strap, which I need, and had the new "soft" footbed. I love the color, it goes with everything. I love the fit, as I have wide feet and it fits perfectly. I love the style, as it's pretty, and feminine. The straps however just barely fit my feet on the very last holes, and there isn't much room if you needed to add more holes. This would be the only downfall with this pair I could find. The soft footbed is nice on the days I don't want or need as much support as my regular Birki's. It is still supportive, but if you need lots of support as normal Birki's give, this may be too soft for you. I find it wears about the same as other pairs, too, so far. The price is high but I figure good shoes are worth it, and you just can't find this pair anywhere! Thanks Zappos!!

Birkenstock Bali: I just have to say that this is THE most comfortable shoe with no break in period. I have several pairs of Birkenstock (one a pair from at least 10 years ago) and they are some of the best shoes I have worn. I LOVE this shoe, the best of all because of the soft foot bed. I really think that makes a difference in the comfort of the foot bed. Also, the straps are very soft around the ankle. I thought at first they might rub and give me blisters, but they have been wonderful right out of the box. And they are super cute! I have wide feet and they are very roomy in toe box. And great arch support. LOVE THEM!

Cute shoe. I ordered it in black. Loved the soft footbed, very comfortable. Unfortunately they didn't work for me at all. The toe strap starts a little farther down (as do most Birkenstocks) than I like. The leather on the ankle strap is a little stiff, which I am sure would soften up a bit with wearing. But the big problem was the metal joint on the inside of the ankle strap-can see it in the pictures. Quite uncomfortable. I didn't see how that would ever not be painful, maybe if you had the strap loose enough.

The Wonders Of A Birkenstock -
I love, love, love these shoes. I'm not a huge fan of the somewhat mannish look of regular Birks, and these are the perfect alternative. They're feminine, ultra-comfortable, and environmentally sustainable. Plus, the soft footbed makes them even nicer than the regular Birks. I couldn't recommend these more strongly.

Probably very comfortable -
I ordered this sandal to wear with my khakis this summer. The leather is very soft and seemed to scratch easily. I usually wear size 8.5 and I ordered size 39 in these but it was too short so I returned them. Because they seem to scar easily I'm not re-ordering this sandal.

I read all of the reviews for this sandal before making the purchase. The price is intimidating, but I don't mind paying more for a comfortable product. I have the hardest time finding any kind of shoe that I like and that comes in wide width. I always thought Birkenstocks were a little to mannish for me, but these sandals are very femine looking and I have received several compliments on them. There is a round metal fastener on the inside ankle that took some getting used to. I wore them around the house for a few days and now they are fine! They look great with painted toenails, too!

These boots are BEAUTIFUL! They look amazing with everything! So happy that I found a pair of flat boots that are made with beautiful leather. The Bali sandal is a wonderful way to feed your Birkenstock addiction. They look daintier than the usual Birks and the soft footbed is a marvel...I think that I will only buy the soft footbeds from now on. I had the same initial problem that others reported. I felt like I had rocks under the front buckle and the back strap where it is riveted together. I think that my feet were just sensitive because the shoe touched spots that were usually not touched by other shoes. At any rate after a few days and some bandaid protection, the Bali’s were like all my other Birks...outstandingly comfortable.
They are equally at home on a hike or out for dinner. Give them a chance if they hurt a little at first!!

Really cute shoe and more feminine than others I have from Birkenstock. Very comfortable and the black goes with everything. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe normally and found the 39 regular to be perfect for me... not too big at all.

I bought these because they were recommended by my podiatrist because I have plantar fasciitis. The soft footbed made them comfortable, though it did take me a couple days to get used to the feel. I love them. The style is nice enough to wear nearly everywhere. LOVE them!! It's great to be able to wear sandals and not be limping and in pain by the end of the day.

A cute Birk -
A Birk that is cute enough for more dressy occasions. Like all my other Birks, these sandals are comfortable enough to wear all day. As for delivery, I absolutely could not believe that I placed my order in the morning and the next day there was a pair of shoes at my door.
