These Teva\'s are great. Replaced an old pair that I had for years. I do a lot of sailboat racing and was concerned that the sole would not grip on a wet deck too well but I have not had any issues. The straps hold your feet in place without any give. Best of all very comfortable.

Love the shoes, except for the funny buckle on the back strap. Hard to open and close for an old man. These were purchased for my husband who is 78 years.

Not as comfortable as my other Tevas. It's difficult to get the ankle strap adjusted to fit properly. It ends up feeling either too tight or too loose. I prefer the older style without the annoying side strap that runs from ankle to toe. Not very well constructed. Pretty disappointed in these, especially for the price.

Love these sandals and wear them every day in the summer. I liked the men’s color selection better than the women’s so ordered a women’s 9 and men’s 7.5 to check the sizing and fit – for me, the fit was identical, so I kept the men’s 7.5 and returned the 9 (love the free to and from shipping). I wear Tevas on land and in the water and find these to be the perfect sandal for both. I have had the universal buckle - which I like, but found that they are really to be used exclusively in or around water (didn’t know that when I purchased them). The special "sticky" soles on the universal buckle pick up rocks, sticks, and such from the ground, so don’t work well for land use. But the open Toachi is a great "hybrid" land/water shoe. Easy on and off, stable, comfortable, good tread. Highly recommend. Have had several pair of Tevas and am quite happy with these.

Great looking and feeling sandal with a fatal flaw. These are a good looking sandal that are extremely comfortable. I thought the draining aspect of this sandle would be a fantastic feature. And it was. Until the soles seperated. I had this sandal about 2 months, and probably got them wet 4 or 5 times. On a trip to the ocean, they began to seperate. One in the front, and the other in the rear. I really am a little surprised, as they were not cheap and Teva has been a great wearing shoe for me in the past. Just pass by these sandals and get yourself some Terra Fis instead. They last forever.

Very comfortable and functional sandles for rough/wet conditions. Superior traction and comfort exceeded my expectations. I only wish there were more decent colors available; otherwise it's a great product!

I am sad to report that these sandals are built very poorly. After a little over one summer of use, the glue is wearing off the sole making them impossible to wear. I will say they were extremely comfortable and looked great. However, for the price that I paid for these the construction should be high quality.

I have been a fan of TEVA for a long time but usually just bought the same style. When I finally wore out the last pair I tried this style and could not be more satisfied. I have a new favorite!

These sandals were great until they started falling apart. On both sandals, the rubber soles separated from the mid-sole. These are multiple piece soles, and all of them separated. These may be fine if you never get them wet, but don\'t buy these for the beach/kayaking and expect them to last a summer. BTW, I\'ve had some Teva Hurricanes for a few years with no problems

Not too good. This model wore out much faster than prior models of Tevas that I have owned. The look is so-so, not as good as pictured. The foam and outer sole separated early in life and now the outer sole is separating further. I am pretty easy on them and don't wear all the time. I will go elsewhere next time.

These are so light and comfortable. I have narrow feet with high arches and am difficult to fit...generally taking a B width. Thought I'd be clever and order a half size smaller since they only come in D width. And ain't I clever...it worked...width is perfect as is the length, with nice arch support...well worth the money. What to say about Zappo service...absolutely no one is better!

I couldn't have been more disappointed with these sandals if I had bought dozens of them for orphans. First complaint: they really do stink. I have never had this issue with any of the Teva products I've enjoyed over the years. It's as if I were wearing cotton socks with bread bags over them. Second complaint: if you're going to buy these, go ahead and get yourself some Shoe Goo because you're going to need it. Over the course of two months I have had to glue virtually the entire soles of both shoes back onto the midsole. Third complaint: I love the style and the comfort but I'm afraid that every time I wear them large pieces of the tread will fall off, or be drug behind, or that the smell of my own feet will drive me batty. Suffice it to say that I am shocked at the failure of my sandals to meet my expectations.

Good fit, very comfortable -
I wear a woman's 10W. I purchased a man's 8M since wide sizes are not available for women. They fit me perfectly and they are very comfortable. Since I am recovering from heel surgery, I was delighted to find that the heel strap fits a bit lower on the heel than on many other sandals.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I like Clarks and Eccos which fit my high arch and wide foot.

Great Sandals -
Comfortable right out of the box. Many strap adjustments make this possible. I generally don't like sandals with a synthetic footbed but the special vent holes really work well. The arch was a little high for my feet but either my feet will adjust or the sandals will with more use.

I wear Tevas as my every day shoe. I do not like velcro-only closures, preferring a buckle style. The main ankle closure is an easy-in, easy-out buckle. Being a woman with 8.5 wide feet, I chose the men's size 7 because the width is a D (women's = B). I found it narrower than expected, but just barely acceptable. The arch is much more than my previous Tevas; this has caused a bit of soreness, but I am adjusting to the high arch. One major negative noticed – stinky odor. I have never had this problem before with Tevas and am not pleased about it. I kept thinking my clothes stink, but my nose led me to the shoes! Will try some measures to eliminate this, as it is not acceptable. Otherwise, love the Teva sandals; I never slip on wet rocks or wet lawns. Each of my previous ones have lasted over six years of regular use.

Bottom fell out -
Bought 2 months ago and the soles have literally come unglued - both shoes. One strap was actually too long - had to cut it down to size. Squeaks quite a bit after they get wet.
Very comfortable shoe, but very poor quality.

Teva is a great choice!
Very stylish, comfortable and durable. Toe strap has only limited adjustment. Great arch support, especially if you have very high arches like me!

Great Support - Great Feel!
I just got these yesterday, so I have not worn them long, but the fit is much more precise than another pair I just replaced, and there is a definite feeling of support in my arch (at least for me). The footpad is supportive yet soft, and sinks in a bit with weight put on it. My wife and I think they looked good too.
If I were to buy another pair, I might go up just 1/2 a size (to 10 1/2). I'm not saying they are too small, they are not, but I do not think a 1/2 inch extra wouldn’t hurt, either. Especially true if you are considering the "Toachi" that has the covered big toe...make sure it is big enough!!
So far, so good! I like 'em!

I liked the fit, the buckle and adjustment system. They feel good to wear and don't get as hot as regular Teva's I have had before with the vents. Wish it was available in more of a black overall color.

Early Sole Separation -
I bought the shoe in 11M. It fit OK (not good for semi-wide to wide feet). They were comfortable right off the bat but the comfort began to fade rather quickly as if the foam underfoot was not durable enough. I only used them for a month in light conditions and the sole on the heel came off. Not happy. I owned a pair of Teva’s in the past and they lasted forever with great comfort. They also looked a lot simpler too, not so many flashy bells and whistles. I am not sure if they are compromising quality these days or if my pair was just a fluke. Either way, this pair just fell apart too quick for me. I am returning them for Chaco Diamond Stealth’s and hoping for the best.

Very nice comfortable shoe. The only shoe I wear when not working. The only issue I have is the arch support doesn’t seem to spread out across the arch of my foot. After wearing for a few minutes you get use to it.

Finally found the right sandal. Can be tightened in three places, it's rigid bottom is great for hiking, it also looks good as a dress sandal and most of all is comfortable.

Expect better from Teva -
Overall I though I would get more from a Teva brand sandal. I should have gone with the Columbia brand because I have had better experience with Columbia and saved a few bucks too. Not a bad sandal but not as good looking or comfortable as other similar priced sandals. I rate these as decent but not great.
