I am a teacher so I am on my feet all day. I absolutely LOVE these shoes. They do make noise when I walk but I don't care! My feet NEVER ACHE when I have these on! Can you make them in every color of the rainbow??? Well worth the price! I have a very fat, wide foot and these are AWESOME!

Well-made sandal -
Runs narrow; don't order unless your foot is quite slim. I have a hard time finding narrow shoes and sandals are an impossibility, but this one fits well. Bliss! I usually wear an 11AAAA (try to find that size in an everyday sandal!), but Batumi 11N fits me perfectly. I'm ordering it again in another color.

True to size. Great for long, hot walks as the material in the platform of the sandal wicks away the heat. Great sandal for Las Vegas!

Quite annoying NOISE makers, they will hear you coming!
These sandals whoosh with every step you take. Almost like they're passing gas. I guess it's the pillow bed, but don't care how comfortable they are, the whooshing noise is too much for me. They are going back.

Very comfy sandal, which I find to be a much better alternative to flip flops. They provide more arch support and heel cushioning. The slap sound from a flip flop is replaced by a heavy sigh with every step. Without the sound effects they would be close to perfection!

Most shoes hurt my feet. This is my second pair of Softwalk sandals and I am very pleased. I can wear these shoes for a day of shopping and walking. If you have a problem with something between your toes, these are not the shoes for you.

I agree with the rest of the reviews of this shoe – there is a puff of air when walking that I'm not crazy about, and the shoe runs very narrow. I've worn these shoes mostly on weekends for the past month and they have stretched out. For the price, I would have expected better quality, but the shoe is comfortable. My 1st order with Zappos and I cannot get over how easy it was and how fast I received the shoe, and free shipping! Will definitely continue to shop with Zappos.

My mom loved these shoes! She has VERY narrow feet and has not been able to wear a slip-ons in years (if ever). They are actually narrow, just as indicated (we ordered 7 1/2 Narrow). Even the color is great, more brownish than red. We are hoping to get them in other colors. Finally, a stylish slip-on she can wear!

The straps are strangely short and confining and the shoes are slippery. In addition, the toe strap is not placed right -- it's a bit too high up on the shoe. But they are VERY cute and walkable for short periods of time.

Not just any flip flop!
I rely on others' reviews when choosing shoes for my really wide feet. I was a little concerned about the "weird whooshing" noise many described, but was pleasantly pleased when it was barely noticeable. The comfort is so superb (and I can't tolerate thongs anymore) that I don't mind they're a bit too long for my half sized foot. Sleek style - not too dressy with a sporty comfort. Would highly recommend!

It feels like you are wearing a sneaker.
I traveled to New York City with my family recently to visit the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, and Ground Zero. I felt like I had supportive running shoes on my feet. The SoftWalk Batumi is the best investment I have ever made with a pair of shoes.

It really is a soft walk -
These shoes are really great. Very comfortable. You can hear the air being pushed out as you walk. The comfort is worth this little annoyance.

Alternative to Birkenstocks?
I cannot wear Birkenstock sandals because my size and the European sizing aren't compatible. If you are tired of the granola look, these are a great alternative. They are much more attractive. The perforated footbed makes a little whooshing noise with each step, which doesn't bother me. It is only audible when in a very quiet place, like a library.

Great shoes!
I took these to Las Vegas and wore them almost the whole time. They were great for all the walking we did (several miles a day). The shoes do make a swooshing sound when you walk, but the comfort is worth it.

I have a hard time finding shoes that don't kill my feet. These have been great! There was no "break in" time. I needed a simple sandal to wear with a sun dress. This worked perfectly!

I was totally bummed when I tried these on, having read the reviews and really liking the style overall. This amount, for a pair of flip flops is a lot, but I figured it would be worth it if they were the most comfortable things in my closet. The insole was as described – cushy and heavenly. The outer leather was beautifully tooled and soft, and all the stitching is nice too. BUT, after all the attention to making such a comfy shoe, they used manmade materials on the underside of the vamp where it touches your skin! I have possibly the most sensitive skin on the planet, and just wearing them around the house I got all scratchy and irritated, so I know I'd get bad blistering if I wore them for long periods. And, the balance of the shoe was off a little so one foot hung over the side a bit.

Style, Comfort, and Narrow!
Finally, a narrow casual sandal with style! I wish that I had ordered in all colors. This sandal runs very narrow across the top of foot for a true narrow fit. There is a bit of a "squeak" as air moves from pillowed insole, but that is a small price to pay for a sandal that is comfortable to wear all day long and can move from daywear to a casual dinner out with style.

Extremely comfortable and super cute shoe. I bought them in the silver and bronze colors and they are adorable, and I can wear them all day and night. Very well made. Cannot rave enough about them.

Sandal Review -
I have found this shoe to be the most comfortable sandal I have ever bought. It does make a whoosh sound when walking and it has not gone away even after much wear. However, nobody else has mentioned to me that they hear it. It is not the most stylish sandal, but it is great for a casual look with shorts and summer skirts. I wound definitely buy it again.

Narrow is great for comfort seekers -
Love this shoe in narrow - great if you have a narrow flat foot. Super comfortable. When they say narrow they mean it -- it fits as it should. The top holds the top of my foot in the shoe, the sides are perfect. It is so comfortable. Thank you SoftWalk. Wish you made more cute styles.

Good shoes for the pregnant ladies.
I'm seven months pregnant and walk a lot in NYC. I'm a heel person but decided to forgo the heels during pregnancy. However, finding cute or at least acceptable flat or low-heeled sandals was a challenge. These are not what I'd usually choose but they are comfortable right out of the box and don't require fastening straps (getting challenging at this point) but stay securely on the feet. I usually take a regular width but ordered W and glad I did. These should accommodate my swelling feet and mileage I put in as the summer drags on. Pewter color is the way to go. I don't mind the swooshing sound, it's not that pronounced.

I bought the shoes as a gift for my mother. She has many issues with shoes since she has severe back problems and even the height of the heel of shoes can affect the pain in her back.
