They are cute, do not come in half sizes, the holes for the buckles on each shoe were not punched in the same spot, so one fits more loose than the other. Oh yeah, be prepared with bandaids for the back of your heels for a few wearings. They are ouchy if you don't!

I love these shoes, they are so cute. I get lots of compliments whenever I wear them. I have several pairs of Dr. Marten Mary Janes, and they get more comfortable, the more I wear them.

I had to order these shoes as my last pair were bought when I was pregnant with my son (he'll be 15 this year, so you can imagine!) and I had to put them to rest. I can't count how many pair of Doc Martens I've owned since the early 80's and when I saw these they had to join my collection. They're durable, affordable, comfortable (well, I did have to work them in first) and most importantly, FASHIONABLE. Thank you, Doc Martens, and thank you Zappos for the great selection, and stellar service.

Short Strap; Back Curve Painful -
Do not know why the rest of the reviews say leopard print when linked to these that are flocked b/w, but the ones that say the back curvature is painful and the strap a mite short are on point exactly. I'm going to try the heel lifter idea because thick socks would look horrid. I love my other Doc Martens and these are stylish and otherwise feel comfy.

I have been wearing Dr.Martens Maryjanes for over 20 years. I was ecstatic to see Zappos had a great selection of that style. I ordered 3 pairs and love them all!

So cute! So fast!
I bought my last pair of Doc's 20 years ago and am equally excited about these. This shoe can walk you anywhere. It's not dainty, but it's about as dainty as Doc's get. The perfect feminine counterpart to my oxfords.

My Favorite Shoes!
I got the patent leather ones and I must admit when I first got them, the strap was a little tight across my foot and the back of the shoe dug into the back of my ankle... but I was determined to make these fit comfortably. After rubbing some rubbing alcohol on the inside of the strap and wearing the shoes with thick socks, the strap stretched a little bit and then I put in some Dr. Scholl's heel cups to lift my foot up a little bit in the shoe. That did the trick... now my shoes are super comfy and the back of the shoe doesn't dig in to my ankle. It took a little effort which is why I gave the shoe 4 stars for comfort but when all is said and done, it was worth it. Dr. Martens are my favorite brand of shoe and Mary Janes are my favorite style. If only the shoe came in a red patent leather... then I'd be even happier!

OUCH!!!
I am a long time Doc wearer and can usually wear a UK size 6 right out of the box. Not with this shoe. It feels at least a half size smaller than marked and had painful rubbing on the back of the heel on both feet. I had to sand the inside of the back down with a nail file to make it stop rubbing. I still wear them...but only if I know I won't be doing a ton of walking.

Doc marten leopard print maryjanes -
Great shoes! Leopard print is attractive and is a whimsical touch to any outfit; especially good w/ pants. Top back of shoe digs in a little; I could not wear this shoe with nylons or barefoot or thin tights. It needs a thick sock so that it's comfortable; when I wore thin socks my upper heel was uncomfortable where the top back of the shoe curves in. With a thicker sock, shoe fits great and is very comfy. Arch support is very good, and I can stand and walk in the shoes all day. Great buy for the cost, and these are a good sturdy shoe that looks good and draws compliments from many people.

Love my leopard docs -
I'm a size 6 or a 6 1/2. I got the UK4 but had to return them for the UK5 because the 4s were too small. The 5s are slightly big, but I can still wear them. Very comfortable.

Love this shoe! This is my second pair of Doc Marten Mary Janes – my first pair lasted over 10 years with regular wear (approx. 2 times per week, 8 months per year)! These shoes are indispensable to me. They may take a little bit longer to break in due to the dense, high quality of the leather, but it's worth it. The soles are indestructible!

I like the shoes, just trying to still break them in. I wear them to work mostly. I was really impressed on how fast they arrived to my house. I'm happy I found these shoes in my size.

SO CUTE BUT SO NOT HAPPENING -
I bought this shoe for work and b/c it was so adorable I could not help myself. I have owned many a pair of Dr Martens shoes and loved all of them. I got these home and tried these on and they felt about a half size too small. I kept them thinking that they just needed to be stretched out a bit. Next I noticed that the heel points inward a bit and thus causes extreme pain to your Achilles tendon. I wore these shoes with padding on my heel for 3 weeks and they still never got comfortable enough for me to keep. I regrettably had to call and return them. I thought I could break them in but I don't have forever to do so. These shoes are the cutest things but just not break in friendly. Definitely not comfy and wearable right out of the box.

Super comfy for problem feet -
I have wide, problem feet and find these shoes extremely comfortable and accommodating. They have a classic look and go with anything! It is the only shoes I wear - all seasons. Highly recommended!

I really like these shoes!
Okay, so the first day I wore them too much and I ended up with terrible blisters on my Achilles tendon and above my ankles, but then (after my wounds healed) I wore them for shorter periods of time and less walking and I really love them. They are so comfortable. I ALMOST wish it wasn't sandal weather so I could wear them more often.

So much fun!
I have worn Doc Martens boots for years and have a large collection. I get a lot of compliments and love the look as well as the amazing COMFORT. This is the first time I've purchased Mary Jane Docs and they are great! The animal print pattern makes them extra fun and stylish. Same reliable Doc Martens comfort, too.

Great Comfortable Shoes!
I've been wearing Dr. Martens shoes for about 15 years now and they can't be beat for quality and comfort. These Mary Janes are both attractive and comfortable. I wear them everywhere and they go with almost everything.

Love my docs -
I have many different shoes, but absolutely love my Docs. I am a nursing instructor and am on my feet all day and personally have a higher arch. These shoes look professional, different, and feel awesome. Zappos was amazing to deal with in addition to this wonderful shoe. Thanks!!!

Perfect Mary Janes -
I had a pair of maryjane style shoes by Chinese Laundry that I just loved, but after wearing them 1-2 times a week for the past 4 years it was time to replace them. Unfortunately, Chinese Laundry no longer makes that style. I didn't want anything too fancy or heeled. Just some simple black shoes. These fit the bill perfectly. Comfortable, nonslip, I can wear them to work or to play.

This is a great shoe, although they ran a little big. Otherwise, it holds up to the Dr. Martens tradition. Cute shoe.

Good shoes!
I like these shoes a lot. I wish Dr. Martens sold in half sizes, because I had to order a half size up and they are a little big. I wear them with pretty thick wool socks though, so a half size up is better than too small. ANYWAY they're mighty cute, look good with jeans, but not skirts. Maybe because mine are too big for me! I'm happy with my purchase.

I was born with two club feet and while I have done my share of dancing, hiking, and generally having fun with feet that work okay, the many operations left them rather unpretty, a little misshapen and definitely wider/shorter than most feet in proportion to the carrying bodies. Finding shoes that fit and are comfortable is a rarity for me. I search through stores regularly, more often than not
leaving empty handed. I took a chance with Zappos. There were some excellent deals and the size claimed to be what I might need. A box arrived. It said "Packed with Happiness." Inside was my order – 4 pairs of shoes and a pair of boots. They not only all fit, they all fit amazingly well. The box may very well have been packed with happiness, but let me tell you, not as much happiness as it was opened with!!! Thank you oh so much. You can't imagine what this is for me.
