I absolutely love these shoes, but the sole on both of mine split across width. I've only had these shoes for a few months and take good care of them too. I still really like the shoe though.

I love these shoes. I also bought them in brown/nubuk and additionally I bought an extra pair for my sister. I enjoy doing business with Zappos. The merchandise is always in perfect condition, it is delivered quickly and free. If you ever have to return an item it is hassle free and very easy.

What a great shoe!
I bought these shoes based on the recommendation from a friend. What a good decision it turned out to be. I absolutely love them. The whole experience of buying from Zappos on the internet, to the shipping, to the quality and comfort of the shoe was wonderful. I would highly recommend them.

Awesome Shoes!
I loved this shoe from the time I put it on. I am shopping the site for more Josef Seibel shoes. They are extremely comfortable. I've had issues with back pain but in the few days of wearing this shoe, my pain has diminished. Great arch and heal cushioning. Highly recommended!

I love Josef Seibel shoes. I actually ordered the Patsy and the Sallie and I like them both. The Sallie is a bit long and with the decorative toe looks even longer, but still worth it. The insoles are not supportive, but can be removed leaving enough room to put in your own insoles.

Nice shoe, but it squeaks -
I regret that I will need to return this shoe because it squeaks when I walk in it. It's a well-made shoe and is comfortable. I suspect the problem is the difference in texture between the leather on the upperside of the tongue and the leather inside the shoe that the tongue rubs against. I see internet postings that say a problem of this type can usually be solved by rubbing something like saddle soap on the offending area, but I can't risk doing this and thus being unable to return the shoe if it still squeaks afterward. I don't see the squeaking issue mentioned by others who purchased the shoe, so perhaps it's not a widespread problem? I have a very difficult to fit foot and Joseph Seibel shoes have been the most comfortable and best fitting shoes that I have found. I find that this style fits me even better when I add "Tacco" brand arch supports to the shoe, but that is because my foot lacks height above the arch (the top of my foot is quite flat).

I had to return these for a smaller size as they ran a full size too big. But they were replaced quickly and are nice casual shoes.

Comfortable Shoes -
These are extremely comfortable shoes - I love the way they hug my feet. I have problems with balance so I need to wear shoes that provide stability and comfort. These shoes provide that for me. They are also attractive looking and I have received nice comments about them. I have found that Josef Seibel shoes are extremely comfortable and Zappos service is top-notch.

Terrific shoe!
This shoe is very comfortable and good looking! I have long narrow feet that require orthotics and these fit my orthotics just fine. They are beautifully made and were comfortable right out of the box. Worth every penny!

JS Shoes -
They are pretty comfortable, thus the 4 rating. I have another pair of JS, a slip on pair that seems to be a bit more comfy all around. Maybe I just need to break these in a bit more.

Great Shoes! These shoes are so comfortable no painful breaking in time. They may be a bit expensive but worth it.

Comfy and attractive -
This shoe looks great with pants (not as clunky as some walking shoes - the lines are a bit sleeker) and was comfortable from the get-go. Walked about three miles in them the first time I wore them - felt as if they were made for my feet.

Attractive and Comfortable -
This shoe was comfortable right out of the box. It's a practical and supportive shoe, but has modern styling. The insole is comfy, but can be removed if orthotics are preferred. The footbed has holes that allow air to get to the feet to keep them cool. They are a little noisy because of this, but I think the squishy sound will stop when the shoe is broken in. My sensitive feet demand support and comfort, and Josef Seibel delivers!

Interesting size -
I loved this shoe in looks, comfort and fit when I first put it on. Wore it around the house a couple days and decided I was sold. Too late to send it back now, but it does fit a bit small. I'm a 39 in all my European sized shoes and if they existed I would get a 39.5 in this shoe. It is just a tad short in the length. I can still wear with thin socks.

Great for people with flat feet -
I have flat feet and can never find a stylish comfortable shoe. This shoe doesn't rub the back of your heel like many others and has great arch support. I give it an A+.

Love It -
I just love this shoe. It was unbelievably comfortable right out of the box. Some how, from looking at them, I didn't think they would fit like socks but they sure did. No breaking in required.

Narrow across instep -
The shoe is delightfully beautiful. Unfortunately, it is narrow across the instep. The shoe was not a size too small, in fact, if anything, the length of the shoe was generous for my size. The very short lacing did not afford enough adjustment to achieve a proper fit.

Cute and comfy!
Super supportive and comfortable shoe. Great arch support. Style is fashion-forward funky but not too clunky. A few caveats: The inset in the toe is nubuck - not as easy to keep looking good as the smooth leather. Also, the shoelaces slip at first and need to be double-tied. Overall, though, love the comfort and style. Will definitely buy Seibel shoes again.

Great shoe!
I bought this shoe in navy leather and loved it so much that I came back and bought it in brown leather. I may purchase a third pair! Looks great, fits well, is very comfortable.

GREAT LOOKING AND COMFORTABLE!!!
I have these in both the black and the brown. They are comfortable and are great looking. Even after a long day my feet are doing great. Arch support is awesome and so is the cushioning in the shoe. I ordered this shoe the first part of September and have worn it a lot, it wears well! VERY HAPPY!!!!
