This is my 5th pair of WW811 from Zappos. I have problem feet and these shoes in 2E with a removable insert so I can use my bulky orthotic are the BEST. Zappos is wonderful, overnight free shipping, and free return when necessary. Great company to deal with, I'm hooked! Thank You! I'll spread the word...

An excellent walking shoe -
This is a good shoe for pronators and an excellent walking shoe. I like the brown better, it looks sportier. This is an orthotic friendly shoe. New Balance is one of the better athletic shoe companies and is very consistent across their line. I have worn their shoes for years.

The only one that fits!
Much as I have tried other New Balance styles and other brands, the NB WW811 is the only shoe that fits my narrow (both width and depth) foot! The shoe has a decent arch support and is comfortable to wear even after hours on my feet. The style is rather dated and New Balance could do a little to spiff it up after all these years!

I have worn this same shoe for a number of years. I wear a brace on my right leg, and this shoe nicely accommodates the brace and still gives me a sense of style.

New Balance works for me -
This model, and only this model, comes in AAAA, which is the right fit for me. No other New Balance shoe is offered in AAAA, alas, and this one only comes in white and black, not bone. I'd rather have bone. Anyway, New Balance gives a lot of support. I have peripheral neuropathy and weak ankles and I wouldn't go any distance in anything but New Balance. They make me feel secure.

Great Shoe for My Mom -
My 83 year old mom has a 4A width and is very afraid of slipping. These shoes are the answer for her. They fit her very well; she did not get any blisters. She felt very secure wearing them, which is very important. She did find tying them hard and she would have liked Velcro, but she said that is not that important, because of the excellent fit. Zappos made another member of my family happy!!

Great walking shoes -
I wear orthotics and have bunions, and these shoes are extremely comfortable. They are not beautiful, but unbeatable for great walking.

Finally, shoes my size.
It was so nice to receive an email letting me know that a well known brand actually had a shoe in my size. I've never had a "sneaker" that fit so well. Highly recommend it. If it was a tiny bit narrower, it would be even better… but I'm not complaining.

Only sneaker that works for me.
I use orthotics for my back and foot support. The New Balance WW811 has been the only shoe that feels comfortable with the addition of my bulky orthotics. It may not be the most beautiful sneaker, but plain white goes with all my sports clothes and comfort is the most important factor for me. Please continue to carry this model as I plan on buying 2 a year which seems to work for me. Your delivery service can't be beat and the Zappos.com format was good to use since I'm not too computer literate! Thank you.

Very comfy shoe -
Many of us could write the script for a reality show about our quest to find a good-fitting comfortable shoe. Seriously. In my case, the challenge is accommodating size 12, narrow, flat foot… one foot 1/2 size larger than the other, one foot with a prominent bunion. When I found this shoe, the quest was over. Woohoo! The 811 has enough give to fit my quirky feet. Very comfortable. I like the roomy toe box. Fits like a glove; no break-in needed. What a treat it will be to have a shoe I can walk in all day. I'm going to order it in other colors if they are available in my size.

This is my third pair of 811's. They are comfortable, easy to clean and are cooler to wear than many other brands that I have tried. I like the white look and they go great with jeans. The fast shipping from Zappos beats anything I have seen.

Good shoe for the money -
I've worn the 811 for years and have found them to be comfortable, true to fit, and retain their good looks with a little wipe here and there. I wear them for casual as well as walking purposes. Actually my podiatrist looked at them and said "Well, you're wearing GOOD shoes".

Excellent shoe -
Fit very well. Love the stabilizing bar - I can actually feel the difference. Since they are synthetic, I expected to feel hot and/or a little sweaty in these. As it turns out, I wore them DURING A HEATWAVE in NYC with normal walking socks and my feet did not feel hot or sweaty - surprising. (Guess the ventilation holes REALLY do the job.) Also, the synthetic material is much softer and pliable than I expected. I am going to use my own arch supports with these shoes, I have problem arches. These shoes are not pretty, but when your feet are hurting, style is not #1 on the list of priorities. They look ok with a pair of jeans or other long pants. I would definitely recommend these to anyone with ankle problems and/or wide feet. I'll be looking for other New Balance shoes with the rollerbar insert - that thing is a huge help for weak ankles. Might want to add your own arch support though.

The shoes are very comfortable. I was able to wear them right out of the box with no break in period. I would recommend them to anyone that has problems with their feet. They feel like slippers.

Kudos to the shipping department at Zappos. My free shipping of these shoes arrived the next day and I live two hours away from a major airport in the high mountains of Colorado. I absolutely recommend this shoe to anyone with narrow feet. I wear 9 1/2 AAAA size shoe and thought I'd never, ever find anything to fit me. I couldn't believe my eyes when I found the perfect thing on this website. I've ordered them in both white and black and will order the bone when they are in stock. They are true to size in every way - and just wide enough to wear a sport sock comfortably with them. I'm delighted.

Zappos is outstanding!
I could not believe the excellent customer service I received with Zappos. My 1st order, 8N, was too snug, so I requested an 8M and received it immediately. Unfortunately, I am going to have to return it also. It's not the shoe, it's my feet. Sometimes I have a difficult time finding shoes that feel right because of bunions and pronation. However, I will always get my shoes from Zappos. They are the greatest.

I originally ordered an 8.5 and it was too big, felt like a full size larger. I then reordered an 8 and it fits just fine. Need the rounded toe box and there is plenty of room. I also have a bunion and it does not press on that.

Most Comfortable Shoe I Have Ever Worn -
I have a very hard time finding shoes that fit my wide feet (4E). Since I started wearing these shoes, they are the only ones I buy. They are so comfortable I only wear these. I have bought other shoes because they are "cute" or look comfortable and I still wear these 95% of the time. I would be devastated if New Balance stopped making these.

I was happy to find Zappos - You would think a city the size of Houston would have "narrow" width shoes - but they are harder to find than cheap gas. This could be a tad more narrow, but I don't have to wear two pairs of sox with them.

Excellent sturdy walking shoe, good arch support. Fits snugly around foot without feeling overly restrictive. I prefer the look of an all white sneaker and I walk between 3 and 4 miles a day. These are my favorite sneakers.
