Comfortable from the first day!
I am a large woman-- I have lost 45 lbs but still need to lose 80 more to reach my goal. These shoes fit my feet perfectly and have been comfortable since the first day I tried them on. Even after hours of exercise, I have no blisters or sore spots. And the soles have enough padding to be comfortable for a woman of my weight. I love the look-- I bought an 8D in the teal and salmon, I have a high arch and do not like the feel of a high arch in my shoes- these were perfect for me. I also bought Euros black socks and couldn't believe the additional comfort-- the salmon color of the Euros logo even coordinates, too. I am now completely sold on Euros socks (I tried Fitzwell & Euros- there is a comfort I love in the Euros fabric.) I bought these to hike a mountain next month-- they have a great cling (too clingy to move gracefully in Zumba class...F.Y.I.)--I LOVE the convenience of Zappos!

Great shoe!
Love this shoe. Beautiful for a running shoe. I got the blue/coral color and they are spectacular. Great support and stability. I usually wear a 10 and I got a 9.5 which fits perfectly. My foot is a little narrow and I was afraid they would be too wide, but they fit great. I like the sweet laces, too. They do actually stay tied better than average laces. Overall well made (and made in the US which is nice) and a fantastic looking shoe.

New Balance - Always a Good Buy -
First, New Balance always run a size smaller; order one size up. Next, the width - I take a WW, but this one felt more snug the other WW NBs I own. Love the colors, though, and they are SO light on my feet!

Toe box too narrow for my wider feet and not enough cushioning/support. I will be sending them back. If you need a wider, more supportive trail shoe, try the La Sportiva brand.

Good shoe - weird laces. The laces are different widths in half inch increments (for a lack of a better description) I think it is supposed to hold the shoe adjustment better - but It made it difficult to adjust. I adjust my shoes nearly every run so - I will be switching out laces. For the price I think this is a really good running shoe. Also has enough room for inserts.

Fits well but not much cushioning or arch support -
My feet are very hard to fit in an athletic shoe. I have a very narrow heel, but wide toes. After reading the reviews here, I bought half a size larger than my usual athletic shoe size. They fit me feet perfectly, look great, and have great traction, but I have a few qualms too. First, they don't support my medium-high arches. Second, there's almost no cushioning. I realize these are stability shoes, but a bit more cushioning would be nice. I run on a gravel track and these shoes do prevent the pebbles from getting in. I will continue to wear these, but I'll also be keeping an eye out for shoes that fit as well as these but with a bit more cushioning.

Love these shoes -
I have to have a very wide shoe with neutral cushioning. This is my second pair. The first pair lasted about a year, so they are very sturdy. I wear them almost every day. My only complaint is that they are cold in the winter because of the mesh.

Very light but sturdy shoes -
These are very comfortable. I wear them walking in town and have a pair for work (ER nurse). They keep your feet dry. I have really hard to fit feet, and these are great. The blue/coral combo is very colorful, a nice change from all the bland colors.

I love these shoes!
I bought these shoes last summer. After trying on about 30 pairs of athletic shoes, I just about gave up. I put these on and said, “Ahh, finally!” I have extra wide, hard to please feet. I put these on and instantly liked them. They are bouncy and airy. I have walked on pavement and country hills and love them for both. I had to go thru water on one of my walks, my shoes dried very fast. I LOVE the shoes and New Balance! I wish they would make them in some subtle colors - I would buy more to wear every day. Thank you Zappos and New Balance for adding more extra wide shoes!

Great looking everyday sneaker -
I was looking for a fashionable comfy sneaker for walking, and I LOVE the burnt orange/grey combo on this shoe - it's unusual to see women's sneakers in this color - too often they're pink or baby blue. This isn't necessarily as comfy as your Uggs, but it's not going to make your feet complain. And of course, I am again in love with Zappos immediate delivery!!!

All Around Great Workout Sneaker!
This sneaker is perfect for going to the gym and has good support. At first I thought that the fit was not snug enough and thought I wanted more padding/shock absorption, but my husband convinced me to keep them as they are so lightweight and comfortable otherwise. I've already gotten quite a few compliments on them!

The shoe is a great looking shoe; it's the back of it that’s the problem. It wore down after I put it on one time even with it being un-tied. And you couldn’t pull it back up either. So the shoe is very uncomfortable because the back of it rubs your heel.

Great trail running and city walking shoe -
Got these for trail running, took them on a business trip for walking a paved city walk and bike path, and they are great for both uses. Springy, light, supportive and comfortable, plus they look kind of retro cool. The ribbed shoelaces to prevent untying is a great idea.

I looked in stores for this shoe and could not find, a friend suggested visiting Zappos. I did and found the shoe I wanted, it was shipped overnight and the shoe is comfortable, lightweight and I love it when I go for my walk. I would recommend this shoe; I would have preferred more colors though.

LOVE THESE SNEAKERS, love Zappos -
These sneakers did not need any breaking in; they fit true to size and are very unique in style. They can feel like I'm wearing slippers all day, yet they also feel supportive on my feet. I highly recommend them, they’re very comfortable and awesome looking, too!

The best sneakers I've ever had.
First of all, let me thank Zappos for their great service. I spoke first to a representative because this was my first time buying running sneakers and I did not know where to get them. This lady went page by page with me until I found what I wanted. Wow...
Next, the sneakers arrived one business day later. Great...
Lastly, these New Balance sneakers are absolutely fantastic. I have sesamoiditis and plantar fasciitis. I dance a lot and walk a lot. I walked with these sneakers for the first time today at the park and felt absolutely no pain and no discomfort. I gave myself time to validate whether this was real. I removed the sneakers after one hour of walking and sat for one hour and walked again for another one hour without any problem. They have great cushioning and also are very airy.
I had automatically ordered one size larger after reading the other reviews.
I sincerely recommend these sneakers because this is the first time I am home after walking two hours and feeling no different than before I went out.

I ordered these because they're gray and not white, and they just looked different. I got a bonus, they're also some kind of mesh and they really breathe! Like my last pair of New Balances these are really comfortable and lightweight.

First a note on service - I ordered these shoes yesterday evening, and they arrived today! Wow! Fast, wonderful service.
Now the shoe -- this is actually my second pair of WR873s. I run/walk on and off road every day and decided to give these a try at the beginning of this year. I was able to wear them right out of the box and they felt like a dream! This second pair is no different. This is the first time I've ever reordered the exact same style of shoe, but these are great and my only concern is that the style will be discontinued!
These shoes did well both on the road and on the trail. Very comfortable and very stable, plenty of room in the toe box, good traction. The mesh upper does a great job of keeping my feet cool and the shoes really do dry amazingly fast. I am pretty flat-footed and many types of shoes cause my feet to cramp up, but I had absolutely no problem with these shoes.
Cannot recommend these shoes enough. I've already bought them twice and will happily buy them again.

Very cool trail runner!
This is the perfect warm-weather, low-profile trail running shoe! Very lightweight and air flows freely through the mesh foot. The laces are ridged so they don't slip, and the N lock system helps cinch my heel into the shoe, without crunching down my instep or my toes (which are Protected by a nice plastic bumper. The traction is grippy and sure. The width is normal-to-a-bit-narrow, and I sized up a 1/2 size (or a whole size if you wear orthotics) per the general practice for running shoes - definitely glad I did that. My only concern is that the foot cushioning feels a hair thin and I hope it holds up - I want these shoes to last! An excellent design by New Balance. Well done!
