Comfy and sturdy.
I have these in black/white and brown/orange. They are similar in style to Chuck Taylor's, but the Asics are a lot more comfortable. Good padding around the ankles and the sole is thick and cushy. These run a tad big, but I think that's the way they're supposed to be since they're a kick-around shoe. The black dye seems to be fading a bit giving it an almost purple hue. They're not the sexiest or most stylish shoes out there, but overall I really like mine and wear them 2-3x a week.

Way too small. I am not sure who said this shoe felt too large, but, when I got mine it was at least a full size, probably more, too small! Zappos is cool, they took the shoes back and gave me a credit.
